Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

Nicholas Alexander Grimmholt
Real Name: Nicholas Alexander Grimmholt
Renegade Name: Grimm Reaper
Title: Shadowfox, Touch of Death
Alignment: Renegade
Age: 17, technically deceased as of June 3rd, prior year.
Gender: Male
Race: Artificial Vampire.
Hair: Jet black, thick
Eyes: Originally a shade of deep blue, they stay bright scarlet most of the time, shifting back to his natural color only in a few occasions.
Height: 6' 1.253"
Weight: 146 pounds, 3-8 ounces depending on blood consumption and clothing weight.
Description: He's tall, compared to most people, and fairly slim, since his musculature is mostly lean, effective muscle, and always has been .His hair is jet black, thick, and nearly to his shoulders, framing his face and eyes in a sheen of black. His costume, is pretty much a dark suit, with a red silk tie that matches his eyes. He doesn't wear much beyond formal clothing, which, is handy. He prefers to hide what he is, and what better to give his pretense of humanity, albeit a false one, a sense of legitimacy than being well dressed?
Personality: Normally somber, restrained, and, well, grim, Nicholas Alexander Grimmholt is a fairly detached person. He used to be the typical seventeen year old student, partying every now and then and arguing with his parents, and pretty lively, until he became what he is now. Knowing what exactly he is, and the horrors of what he does to survive have gotten to him, slowly rotting what's left of his personality and soul, even. Most psychological analysis place an emphasis on the deterioration of his morals and viewpoints as a ringer of significant damage being done to his psyche, and they'd be correct. In short, he'll do what he must, because he has to, and expedites contact with others to avoid further harm. Quite a downer sometimes.
History: His childhood was normal and mundane to the point of disinterest, given that he had two loving parents, a air of surviving grandparents, and, as the goalie of the lacrosse team, was pretty popular, though not to the point of jock-ness. Honestly, the first fifteen years of his life were nothing special. He went to his first dance at school, flirted with the girls around him, and did pretty darn good in his schoolwork.
However, that changed when he was sixteen. That year, as most teenagers do, he got his learner's permit, and consequently, his vanilla parents did what many others did, and bought him a nice used car-- nothing too expensive in case he scratched the paint, but nothing so cheap that it'd kill his chances of a date. The day before Senior Prom, he was asked out by Lexie Chambers, one of the mid level cheerleaders on the squad, and not exactly hard on the eyes either. So, he changed his plans of skipping, and went into town to rent a decent tux so maybe he'd actually get a second look at the Prom with all the seniors and their dates.
That was when the trouble started. Walking around the men's section of his local department store at the dying mall, he was just browsing for something maybe a little less expensive than a white tux, like maybe a Franken-suit with a good pair of slacks and a blazer. He found something acceptable, and just within his price range, and as he went to purchase it, a man in a nondescript pair of sweats and a red jacket bumped into him-- inadvertently causing both to drop their items. In the resulting scramble, the man quickly grabbed whatever he could, and ran off triggering the shoplifting equipment.
Unbeknown to Nicholas, in the scramble, something wholly unlucky had found it's way into his new jacket. A small glass vial filled with a quicksilver like material that soaked rapidly into his system, passing easily through his skin. He noticed no stain since it was inside his pocket, though he certainly noticed on Prom night, when he reached into his pocket to make sure that condom from Sex Ed was still there. He left his date at the dance floor to head to the restroom to wrap it, to avoid an infection, but... never made it. Halfway down the hall from the loud auditorium, he began to feel woozy, like if he'd had a drink too many, but... he hadn't had anything to drink at all.
Nicholas passed out just before reaching the bathroom six meters beyond his reach, vision fading to black in a mere second. When he came to, he was in a large antechamber, walled with glass in three hundred and sixty degrees around him. The glass was just shiny enough, in the fairly dim light that he could see his reflection. He nearly fainted. He was as pale as a sheet, much, much more than was even normal for his family, and he spent most of his days in the sun. In addition, his blue eyes were clouded, more purplish than they were supposed, to be, and his arm near that vein cluster felt.. pain. Remembering the injury from the night before, he looked down, only to find that the wound didn't exist.
So began a year of experiments by white environmentally suited individuals. They didn't explain much of anything, at first. Only that they were there to help. They took blood samples daily, tissue samples, hell, even urine samples. All the while, he grew progressively weaker each blood sampling, as if his blood didn't replenish each time. He started throwing up when he tried to eat, his hair began to lose it's normal black luster, fading to a gray, and then a white, and he started losing weight dramatically. Around this time, his body began to display disturbing changes. His teeth were becoming significantly more pointed, his muscle mass, diminished even, was still capable of producing the same exertion as before, and his vision expanded rapidly. Also, he began displaying a unique bioelectrical lumination effect, as if a static field of particles existed in a suspended state around him. It only manifested sometimes, but when it did, a tendency to "gauss" nearby electrical equipment made his "keepers" angry. They didn't show it, but he knew, from their body language, which his sharp eyes told him.
And so, one day, nine months after he started his... clinical, monitored existence, they finally sent someone else in to see him. She was young, attractive-- a blonde from his school, her name escaped him. She looked frightened, not just by her surroundings, but by him. As if his gaunt, nigh emaciated form could offer any harm. "They" had given up on feeding him solid food; an IV was his lifeline at the moment. She drew nearer, pity in her eyes. And that was when the hunger struck. As if every morsel of food he'd missed out on had grown a mind of it's own and rampaged across his mind, impeding his higher functions. In a mist of what felt like centuries of rage and violence, he streaked from his bed, tearing the girl in half with a single movement and then driving his pointed fangs into her throat, uncaring of her twitching, ragged torso movements as he drained her upper half dry. And then... began licking her blood off the floor, like an animal.
When "they" finally came back in, he glared at the suits as they picked up what was left of the girl to put her in the crematorium, a silent, malevolent laugh echoing in his now scarlet eyes. They sent in more, slowly at first, reaching perhaps two or three a week for a month-- all the while noting the improvement in his state. He had cracked, having watched the disembowelment and draining of the girl in nightmares and waking dreams, and now that animalistic side ruled him. The Bioelectric luminescent effect, called, as he learned with his enhanced hearing, was called the Clarke Effect, after the head scientist, Nathaniel Clarke. It grew stronger with each victim, as did he, now going through at least seven a week, sometimes as many as a dozen. His hair returned to black, his musculature hardened and strengthened visibly, and he grew faster, able to project his bioelectric abilities into brute, forceful electromagnetic waves that could smash a person into the glass enough to crack their skulls. Week by week, soul by soul, he grew even stronger, though his speed was enhanced heavily, owing to the blueish tint energy wings he was able to form, using their characteristics to form either a repulsive force that pushes away from earth's heavy metal core, allowing vertical lift, or the formation of a minor magnetic field to generate thrust in the air via wave motion riding.
The endless stream of victims continued, the watchers noting precisely how this one was dismembered, studying the effects of being slashed, how the electromagnetic wave affected dying neurons, even how much time it took for him to finish a person. Until at last the time of his birthday came around. He was no man, just a monster cloaked in the clothes of a mortal. His mind had been so tortured that he withdrew into his mind, effectively being ruled by id. The day of his birthday, Nathaniel Clarke and the others came inside, taking off their helmets and leading in one more girl. Lexie Chambers. The hunger was there-- he wanted to do it, wanted to tear her limb from limb, but the person inside recognized the familar face, saw that scared look, and it forced him back into the helm. They had expected to break him, to tame him with the destruction of everything he was.
They failed, because his powers had grown extensively, and he tore them apart instead, cleansing himself body and soul in the blood of evil men. The girl lived, too scared, lost, and confused to admit what she had seen. It was fine by him. After he left that facility, he blew it up by detonating the main fuel reactors. And then he set out to find out what the hell he was. Some answer to his questions, and to decide whether he should live or die.
Powers: Bioelectric Luminescence (Clarke Effect)
Basically, his body, artificially altered by a nanomachine serum, is capable of acting as an organic energy storage system. At the cellular level, his muscles are capable of storing and emitting this energy, and the usage of it is now instinctive-- in other words, sending out a wave motion pulse or creating the energy wings is as natural as walking, since his brain simply uses the appropriate muscle tissue as if he had learned how to use another arm. His powers aren't incredibly powerful, but the application of this ability is where he makes up for it.
Uses include EMP within a distance of ten feet, wave motion pulses, in other words, dispersing particles into the air around him and then "pushing" with a "wave" of additional particles, which generates an electromagnetic field that can send humans or objects under a ton flying pretty easily, as long as they have a strong enough magnetic resonance. Yet another is the formation of a cushion of particles released from energy wings, downwards, which repels him from the Earth's surface, and the use of energy wings as a limited use shielding tool to deflect a few bullets or a sword, though considering the fairly weak nature of the wings, sustained assault will cause them to collapse. If he needs to achieve extreme speed, his can combine the energy wings and wave motion propulsion, causing him to streak across the sky at a hyper sonic speed by using an incredibly powerful initial velocity and a mass of energy and particles, and using his energy wings to repulse the ground, allowing high speed flight for a fair distance before gravity or entropy begin to affect his flight. He basically travels in a ballistic trajectory, reaching mach five at the most basic rendition of this, allowing a three minute airborne time, and a five minute extended trajectory if he needs to. He can't really control his velocity, meaning once he launches, it is incredibly difficult to slow him down, especially near the beginning, as he requires an equivalent force to stop his inertia. That said, near the end of the path, when velocity drops intensely, he can provide a reasonable enough force to slow him just before landing.
In addition to these applications, he's also quite strong, though since he really hasn't much fighting experience, he doesn't really have much going in the finesse department, though he is as tough as he is strong.
He does have one weapon, powered by his Clarke Effect, which is essentially a tachi with a saw like edge that uses a reverse polarity to help guide the weapon into another, which helps defensive capabilities, since he can at least deflect an opponent's blade sometimes with it.

Re: Nicholas Alexander Grimmholt
I've read over the entire application. Basic Information seems fine, although you still need an image or description of your characters appearance. Personality is nice, and so is the history. But flying has no loopholes. If you fly, you lose 2 points off of your grid.
