This stays up until and viable until I see a big change in the way he treats the other users. He has no right to speak the way he does to half of the people here, plus he needs to stop making snide remarks against the staff when he doesn't get his way. He doesn't have to be happy about it but he doesn't have to attack people.

This is a personal vendetta that Slamfist has against me...Let him air it out, It doesn't bother me at all.

This wasn't his idea either Coffin, it was a collaborative decision consisting of the the majority of the site.

I have no personal problem with you Coffin, though you seem to think most people do, guilty conscience perhaps? Ask anyone, I'm sure they'll tell you that your attitude towards people really needs improvement.

Why waste your time making kids, and young adults, feel as if they are a pathetic excuse of the English language? Your actions, and the way you personally handle things are not acceptable. I've tried to hold my tongue. I really have. And when I first met you? I thought you were a pretty decent person.. but when I found out how you handle things? And the way you approach people about the roleplay? You know how annoying that is? A young, teenager, comes on here to have fun and role play. You come and smash their dreams. Explain to them that they are not worthy of your 'professional talent,' and then sweep them away with some cocky ass rude explanation that makes them feel lower than dirt.

I am sorry you have such a low opinion of your writing, I don't remember ever saying anything like that to you though. Maybe you could copy&paste the indecent in which I offended you personally.

To answer your first question, I thought that I could aid younger players, by showing them what could be done in a RPing application, given proper inspiration and a bit of narrative flare. I myself started my writing whilst playing D&D with my friends when I was younger. And through reading other's stuff that was better than my own, I learned and prospered. Yes it's true when I first started writing, I got my feelings hurt quite a bit, from critique, but I endured and grew a 'thicker skin' thanks too it.

These were my intentions, anyway, but it seems I missed the target. In this new world of political correctness, there is simply no room for my hard-nosed critique. Even though most my critique was based solely on my frustration due to the lack of other's taking the time to read what I wrote. That was my fault entirely, a writer's most notable critic is the reader. No matter how good, or interesting, or well written a writer believes his own piece of work is, it is nothing if it falls on deaf ears or blind eyes. If I want my writing to be well received, then I should play to my audiences current attention span. And I sincerely apologize for aspiring to such lofty expectations without my audiences permission.

I will try to alter my format to a more efficient and streamlined style in order to make it more accessible to you all. In this I hope that people will actually read what I wrote and not just skim. Therefore limiting my critique of their post in turn. Seeing that it is my straight forward constructive criticism that is upsetting everyone. But you all must remember that 'condescension' is not a one way street, more often than not, it is perceived by someone, without the accused's permission. I do not wish to talk down to anyone, and yes I realize that in the PM I sent Elcipse I did just that. But you have to at least try to understand how frustrating it is for me when someone doesn't even bother reading the previous posts before posting themselves. I was upset and, yes I admit it, I lost my temper. I have told everyone that I would rather wait for a well written post, than have to be disappointed by a rush post that doesn't take in the narrative placed before it. My frustration was double because Elcipse is a generally good writer, and I expected more out of her. I understand that it was the Holidays, and would have gladly waited for her to put out a well thought out post, and her pointing that out only fueled my rage, because I believed that she was misdirecting the point. I was angry because she didn't read first, I am sure we have all felt that frustration.

But I digress....The point of this post is to say that I was wrong. If people perceive me as a dick, then that is exactly what I am being even without my consent on the matter. One opinion weighed against the many opposing is not applicable. I will work to alter my attitude for the better, and would like to apologize for any hard feeling that I may have caused. I realize that I lack the subtlety in speech for the Cbox, and will limit my interaction there. I hope that, over time, you will all see that this is a sincere 'about-face' in my behavior and give me another chance.

It's not lofty aspirations, it's not expectations, it's the way you treat people whilst doing so. Kepp up your posts, I like to see well written, thought out material. I know some people do skim, it can be frustrating, but please, keep it to a "Please re-read my post, you seem to have missed the part where I (insert missed piece of information.)" But yeah, I really appreciate this Coffin.

Coffin....That was perfect, that is all we needed to see, the insults never bothered me personally, so I understand where you are coming from, I myself had to learn to calm down with the insult.

My biggest problem was your not listening to admins, that is what I personally wanted to see worked on.

Don't drag this on any further than it has to, though I haven't been on in a while from what ive seen of the complaints against this user I will bring up a few points to him and end this argument

Coffin, though you may be one of the better writer's here by your standards, it doesn't mean you are necessarily a better RPer than anyone else, your "hard-nosed critique" may be taken in stride by some members who view it as such and will thank you for the tips, learn from them, and then be on their merry way, but as was mentioned several times some users are young, or just unreceptive to such harsh critique, its fine giving pointers, but know how, start softly and if they seem like they can take it then let them have it, but take care from now on as every member views critique differently, some as an attack, others as a advice

As for the complaints it seems to me that you do more than critique and I can deduce that not from what others say but from what you say, I noticed that whenever it seemed that someone stood up and started taking up the flag so to speak in the sense of complaining about your actions you called it a "personal vendetta" first when Eclipse brought up the initial problem and then again when Slamfist began talking, its not a "personal vendetta" if several users are in mutual agreement that your actions were out of line, thats you being out of line, hell, you could even call it "hard-nosed critique" of your actions, which I would think you would be the first person to accept graciously with your "thick skin" instead of merely claiming it to be a personal attack on you

Give critique where critique is due and do it in the right way, I don't like going up in arms about a members transgressions and then debating it for a week, I just fix the problem, Im hoping this will fix said problem, because the next step will be to get rid of it

We'll remove the topic but he's still up for ban if he starts back up. Only me and Viva had to deal with any of this to a real extent so we should be the only ones making decisions on whether or not he's removed. I have a lot of infractions and complaints built up that should have warranted a ban but I held off. So until either me or Viva sees some real improvement, I don't think he's going to be off of the hook.

If that's all it took we'd be way past this, but thanks for the input either way. This was to give people a place to voice their opinions and show Coffin that he really was rubbing people the wrong way, despite how he saw his critique, and needed to improve his people skills. I didn't want to just ban him, though it was suggested, I wanted to give the guy a second chance.
