Resurrection blues
The rain came down in torrents. Some were even saying that it was another large storm, but she knew better. It was the worlds "responses" to her return, and no way she could make a return half naked. So she searched.Searchig for a clothing store of any kind while trying to keep herself covered from any watching eyes.Which was harder than you might think.Considering she only was wearing a bra and panties."Damn necromancer could have at least put some godddamn clothes on me"She cursed to her self. While at the same time greatful the streets seemed empty. So half pissed she continued her search hopeful to end her search soon. Then her eyes fell upon something."Thank god"She nearly exclaimed looking at through the large glass window of a clothing store.Satisfied she approached the glass window.Tapping on it inspectivly."I think this will do just fine"She muttered as a marks on her chest radiated a light blue. Then with a flick of her right index finger the glass completely collapsed.Setting off what seemed like an alarm.Though it was payed no mind. With haste she stepped through the shattered glass as she began to browse the clothing.Choosing a skin conforming red sweater with sleeves that would go well past the hands.Covering up her marks of power, and faded jeans that she took the liberty of putting rips in.Binding her long flowing auburn into a ponytail.Murky green eyes looking around alert yet with the appearence of death."Now what to do"she wondered stepping out into the streets. The light of a flourescent streetlamp playing off her strangely pale skin.

Re: Resurrection blues
"Hey! Hey you, goddamn it! Slow down!" comes a loud, frustrated male voice from behind the girl. There's a great deal of splashing and stomping following the source; one would not be too far off the mark if they were to suggest that the puddles in the area seem to be going out of their way to place themselves in this stranger's path.
"What in the hell was that, lady?! I was in the middle of something, why would you go and set off the damn alarms like that?" The grumbling sounds a little louder now, and the splashes start to die down as the aggravated fellow catches up. Should Elena look behind herself, she'll find a very strange, somewhat shorter fellow in purple, hooded robes. This funny little man has the entire left half of his face either hidden below or replaced with a thin mask of steel. There's a red, unblinking orb for a left eye, and a rather sinister-looking scar over the otherwise ordinary right eye.
"I was in the middle of something in the store next door!" The odd stranger shakes his fist in the air with his right arm, as a smooth chrome-plated left limb hefts a large gray, rain-soaked bag which contains what appears to be a suspiciously large number of laptops, digital cameras, and other assorted electronics. He pauses to look at the bag with worry, before glaring right back at Elena again.
"Something that has nothing to do with robbing electronics! I bought all of this, and umm...and anyways, what was that about?! Would it kill you to, at the very least, show some subtlety?"

Re: Resurrection blues
She turned around.Looking the strange man over curiously with her murky green eyes. What was he doing out at this time of night.Though that thought went away as soon as it appeared.Honestly her thoughts were still on her sudden resurrection.Head cocking to the side she continued to examine him."I'm sorry if i disturbed you in any way"She lied.Right now all she was worried about was finding her son. With a fluid motion she directed her left arm at the store.Pulling the fabric of the sleeve up to reveal her hand with a red symbol on it.Which glowed along with more light from underneath the scrunched sleeve.A small condensed beam of fire shooting from it.Accompanied by a near unhearable woosh.Silencing the loud blaring alarm of the store.
"That was easy"She smiled

Re: Resurrection blues
Magtok blinks, and stares blankly at the building in shock, until the gears in his head start back up again, and he turns about to face the woman, a look of utter horror and fear plastered across both halves of his face. A flashback strikes him, an awful nightmare reminding the cyborg of all of those horrible misadventures he had with that Nightkill thing, and he realizes just what kind of horrible mess he's landed himself in this time.
"Oh Space Jesus, you're a super.Gods, no...no, not now. I just...just when I thought I found a place so far away from Night and Wings and That One Psychic Guy that I'd be safe, there's a new super?" He winces, as if in agony, rubbing his temples in frustration. There's just no escaping it, is there? There's always going to be some horrifically powerful superthing whose toes he might accidentally step on at any moment.
"I'm umm...I'm going to run away in the other direction. Fast. I'd greatly appreciate if you just forgot we ever met, if at all possible, and err...alright, bye!" He turns about, the bottom edge of his long robes getting soaked in every puddle he dashes through as he attempts to flee. Where there's one powerful superbeing of doom, there's usually several more, and Maggy has no desire to stick around until those guys show up, too.

Re: Resurrection blues
"Wait don't..just walk away"She called to him.A tinge of confusion in her voice.Afterall she was just recently resurrected and alone in this world. Now this man was running from her as if she was some monster."I promise i mean you no harm. Please don't leave me just yet"She said walking after him.Pulling the sleeve down to cover her hand again. Then she remembered what he had called her.A super though she technically wouldnt refer to herself as such."Could you please just wait for a second"She called again unaffected by the cold of the rain and the puddles. She did't want to have to force him to stop, but it seemed like she had no choice. Then a brillant idea came to her."What if i can help you buy more of those electronics"She hinted putting stress on buy.She was just guessing on this, but he seemed like the theiving kinda guy.Which gave her an oppurtunity to catch his attention if he truely was.

Re: Resurrection blues
Mag comes to a sudden halt, nearly tripping over himself and dropping his bag upon being presented this golden opportunity. A very loud little voice in his head insists that this is a bad idea, that she'll just run off and ditch him as soon as the police arrive, or that it's some sort of trap, or she's completely out of her mind and extremely dangerous, but his greed and lust for power outmatches the fear in the mental screaming contest that passes for his mind at the moment.
He turns around reluctantly, tries one last time to talk himself out of this horrendously dangerous and stupid idea, but fails once more. The idea of having someone around who can shoot arm-lasers of doom at the hapless opposition is just too fantastic an offer to refuse. If nothing else, it'd give him something to distract heroes with as he makes his escape, the next time those wretched capes come along to ruin his day.
"Alright, I'll stick around. We have to get out of this rain, though. Neither the stuff in the bag, nor my face is built for this sort of weather." Not entirely accurate. The bag might not be able to stand much more of this weather, but the cyborg's pretty water-proof. Mag has to be, otherwise he'd never be able to shower, and probably smell like a freshly resurrected corpse all the time. A tad how I imagine Elena herself would smell, if not for all the rain all over the place.
"It's Magtok, by the way." He holds out his right hand, the one entirely devoid of odd chrome bis and technological components.

Re: Resurrection blues
She smiled pretty pleased with herself.Apparently her assumptions about him were correct.Which was extremely good for her."I suppose we should get out of this weather. It is very.....wet"She answered giving a charismatc smile."Where do you you suggest we go?"After all they had to find somewhere they could get outta the rain. She placed her hands into the pockets of her extremally ripped jeans.Waiting for him to lead her to where he wanted to get out of this rain.Whipping her head to the side, tossing a loose strand of hair from her face.Eyes strangely glistening in the florescent light of the streetlamps.

Re: Resurrection blues
Magtok sighs, and suggests a public storage facility not too far from the duo. It's a tad run-down, not the most glamorous of temporary villain lairs, and in a part of the city most folks have the sense to stay away from, but should do fine as a temporary shelter. The cyborg is almost certain something bad is going to happen, though. Something always happens when he's not hanging around normies. It's just a matter of time, really. Before that tragic inevitability happens, he'll have to do his best to prepare. Maybe, if he's lucky, he'll actually have some Magbots built and sufficiently capable of defending his pathetic arse this time. One can always dream.

Re: Resurrection blues
She listened to him intently as he suggested going to the storage facility.Actually she liked the idea of it."Then lets do this"she said gesturing towards the facility. Before going on her way to it herself.whatever it is he wanted her to do she wanted to get over with quickly. Not that she really cared she would be stealing from people. She still just wanted to get this over with.walking with a confident stride.Cnfident that nothing could stop her.

Re: Resurrection blues
"Alright, here we are. Excuse the mess, my staff is still under construction."
Upon arrival, she might note that the lame ol' public storage facility isn't anywhere near as bad as Magtok might've had her believe. Sure, the big purple 'M' he's crudely painted onto the roll-up door is a bit gaudy, but once he opens it up, the interior is actually quite stylish for a supervillain on a budget. The floor is, for the most part, pretty clean. An unfinished, deactivated Magbot stands at attention, posing with a bucket in his arms to catch the rain leaking from the roof. The lighting has been obviously tinkered with, putting his half-finished Magbots and weapon designs under large spotlights, whilst leaving the rest of the spacious room cloaked in darkness, in what's probably more of an attempt to hide the dirt and grime than make the place look cool.
A dusty conference table lies in the center of the room, with yet another purple M monogrammed across it. and behind that lies a large map of Louisiana mounted to a wall, with a number of red circles and arrows drawn upon in in marker, as if some complicated football play was in the works, with the New Orleans police on one team, and a whole lot of robots on the other. Magtok dumps his soggy bag of loot on the table, and then takes a seat in one of the chairs with wheels, before sliding across the floor to the map, where he points his finger at one of the circles.
"Local bank. Usually nothing special, but the last Friday of every financial quarter, it's got enough cash lying around to buy a lifetime's supply of yogurt for the entire state of Rhode Island. Twice. It's not quite the electronics purchases you were thinking of, but I'd be more than willing to give you a cut. With your crazy arm lasers and everything, it'll be a cinch."

Re: Resurrection blues
She followed the man into the "lair".Examining the place intently. From the front door with a crude M painted on it,to the conference table also monogrammed with a large M .All in all she actually liked the place.Like a small villans lair from a comic book or something like that. She was especially intrigued by the robots that inhabited the place. Not many ,but still robots always did catch her interest. Then they arrived to a map of Louisiana. Her treasured home state.Circles drawn all over the map. Most likely marks to indicate key points for a plan of some kind.He then began explaining a heist of some kind.Which involved stealing from a local bank."That wouldn't be hard at all.Especially a witch of my caliber"She thought to herself smiling."I'll only need ten percent of the profit. You can keep the rest"She told him crossing her arm.Eyes wondering around his lair.

Re: Resurrection blues
Magtok nods, sliding about in his chair and over to the light switch, in a silly effort to both keep her eyes off the grimy, unwashed parts of this "MagCave", and turn on a previously inactive ceiling light, which illuminates a sleek, shiny purple muscle car, with yet another 'M' painted in black across the hood. The "MagMobile" definitely seems far more expensive than he should be able to afford, given the half-robots scattered about. Probably stolen.

Re: Resurrection blues
"I can't do something like teleport on such short notice. So i suppose we can take your vehicle"She answered him as she looked it over. Also enjoying how he insisted on putting a large M on almost everything he owned.Reminded her of her son in some strange way.Causing her pale pink lips to curl into a smile."I'm ready to go whenever you are good sir"She told him running her thin fingers along one of the doors of the vehicle.Humming silently to her self the lyrics of a song. Then opening the door and plopping down onto a seat.Legs crossed ready to rob this bank. After all something like this would be nothing for her.
