Costume Description/Image: Qui wears red and black silk dresses reminiscent of the flapper era. She paints her lips and eyes in different colors, but almost always black lips and red eye liner. Red scarves cover her mouth and a black hood masks the top of her head when she infiltrates. A long clove usually accompanies her hand.

Personality: To learn her personality you would need to earn her interest, and only those who catch her in a moment where she bores herself can accomplish that. With the mysterious nature of China, the seduction of France, and the Protestant facade of the nation she inhabits, Ines rarely goes unnoticed. Either by friend or foe she remains well known.

History:
Ines mother and father met when her mother took official business to China slightly after the Boxer Rebellion. With a forbidden love (to the Chinese at least) her mother, Sosostris, conceived her with a Chinese clerk. Sosostris gave birth to her beautiful girl and lived a happy cozy life before the world burst at its seems. The war destroyed France. Everything that could fall, fell; everyone who could leave, left.

At least Sosostris saw that in her Tarot cards. Ines and her mother moved to England in 1925, on the eve of the her 17th birthday. Ines connected to her phantom father's roots through martial arts. Her mother left the trade agency she worked for and took a job editing the culture section of a London Newspaper. Sosostris dabbled in Tarot cards secretly and held what they said very dearly. The wealth of Sosostris helped Ines in her training and in her armory. Ines spoke with many reporters and her heart grew heavy with the news of crime ridden streets, and the poor that the government abandoned. The small cottage on the outside of London gave the pair an escape from the noisy crime ridden city. The cozy cottage hosted an armory of weapons, eastern and western.

With her mother highly respected within the paper, Ines received a job speaking with potential advertisers. An older man with sales experience would do the talking, while Ines kept the man occupied with her looks. The duo worked well together and her and her mother benefited greatly, even in the troubles of a global depression. Even so, the bottom line of the advertisers disheartened her, and she found her heritage a liability within an ever increasing national pride that began sweeping the nation. She visited proud, rich, fat, English men, looking out of windows and viewing the poor they fired as drains on the society they themselves corrupted.

Powers: Ines trained in several forms of martial arts and mastered several hand and ranged weapons. Not only can she fight hand-to-hand, but her ability with a rifle makes men overlook her because they don't believe a woman capable of firing so accurately. When a business man from America named John Garand visited, Ines amazed him with her accuracy. Surprised, he awarded her with a proto-type weapon that would later be named the M-1 Garand. She stockpiled a greasy Thompson Sub machine gun, several Mk-2 grenades, and a Winchester Model 12. Her hand-to-hand weapons consisted of sais, Aiguchi and Tanto (knives), A nagamaki (that can cut through most doors and wooden structures), several staves, nunchaku, tonfa, scimitar, wakizashis, and a katana. (I'll go into detail on these in the items section)

I honestly see no problem other than the personality, which doesn't need changing, but I dislike personalities that are withdrawn/unknown. Id like to see at least the motivation for that, which isnt really explained in the history.

I believe so Coffin, when you made that thread, you made separate rules, just for that thread coffin, While not illegal, It is considered OOC of SHRPG. Thus partly outside my jurisdiction. This is why you might need to take a a look at this coffin

it looks good to me! The weapons seem a bit excessive, but if she wants to be a walking arsenal I don't have any problems with this. She the dangerous dragon lady...seems about as Golden Age as it gets!

Question Eclipse: Do you plan on using this character outside of the "Golden Age" Thread?

I don't know where to move this. OOC or Approved section...

This character is Golden Age only; I don't see any way to compensate for the eighty year gap with no super powers.
