No comments on my 3.5, level 3 Dragonborn Monk with 21 AC? how about the fact that I add my wisdom modifier to my attack roll. Or that very soon I'm getting Weapon Finesse(Unarmed), so that all of my attacks are solely based on my Dex and Wis, the two highest stats for a Monk?

Nope. My squishy little gnome has an AC of 18, and I can improve that if I find better armor. If you find armor, you cry and try to sell it. Instead of wasting feats on raising my attack via bonus substitution, I just get a sneak attack and add 3 to damage (before crit dbls) and then 3d6 after crit doubles. And did I mention I get four attacks as a standard action? And that one of those feats I didnt waste allows me to render a character flatfooted as a move action if I move through their square? Pwnd, bitches.

I hate 4.0. It's terrible. "Oh look, I like this god! That means I automatically get a lv-1 attack that does 6d6 points of damage on touch and 3d6 damage if I miss!" Bullshit. No level one character should be able to take on a lv 9 vampire. EVER. And the cards were a terrible idea too. So go 3.5 (or earlier) or go home.

Besides, if dealing 3d6 damage to missed targets was allowed, I'd be a complete dick and say things like "Oh, well gratz. You hit the target for 6d6, but you missed everything else. So you and your entire party take 3d6 damage because you cast that." Makes sense to me.

I wanted to have a Tiefling chick to have a Barbarian/Dervish Dancer with a level or two in Kensai. Chaotic neutral because she had to fight off demons trying to take her body back. She tried to do good, but the demons would occasionally take over and go wild. Couldn't do it because of stupid Kensai only-lawful rules.

Right. You're a monk. Which means you're AC wont go up unless you get bonuses to your basic stats (for which you only get like 1 point every 4 levels). So sure, you might have higher AC than Chris's character. But he can always go buy better armor later.

And to say you use no weapons isn't really fair. The characters are balanced so that they all have their strengths and weaknesses. I'm only proficient with light weapons, so i get the backstab damage bonuses to make up for the fact that most daggers start at 1d3 damage. You, without weapons, start much higher. So saying "I wear no armor, I use no weapons" is redundant. You're basic monk stats are designed to be better without weapons/armor, just like my character's weapons are designed to suck (so that backstabbing isnt a 1-hit kill EVERY time).

Well with the vow of poverty I took my AC will be out the fucking roof when I'm level 20, considering I'll have 24 Wis and 22 Dex by the time I get there, and that's if I don't spend my stats from leveling up. Plus I get a plus 5 Exalted AC bonus right now, which will also increase over time, and I'll get natural armor bonuses later. Basically, this Monk, is the exact opposite of my last one. Downside is that I can;t own or use anything magical or use weapons outside the simple or improvised category, I can't have money, and I can only carry around enough food to eat for 1 day. But the last part won't matter in 2 levels since I no longer need to eat or drink. Oh, and at 12th I no longer need to breathe. Hello deep space exploration!

Yeah, remember how (sorry) awful his last monk was? This one, it's a tad rigged. Nowhere near as bad as Mirage, of course, but from what you told me you may have filled in that gap with your new guy.
