Personality: Pain has a very laid back, cool, and a bit of a sarcastic attitude; he's kind of like an action movie star, only cooler. He 'seems' to show little interest in the safety of his team mates, friends, and others he's close to. He doesn't always think things through and has a bad habit of working alone. Pain also has a habit of being very indirect with his emotions; for example, he may behave antagonistically towards someone he actually likes. He can come off as a very dark and cold man due to his intimidating appearance and attitude. Despite all of that, he has his moments where he lets his guard down and is soft and caring to the ones he's closest to. Pain has a lot on his shoulders constantly, he is the world's greatest hero, but he still he's a man with his own flaws and difficulties; sometimes he's far too hard on himself. Pain is selfless, or some would say self-destructive, known for getting himself into all types of trouble, or into situations that normally anyone would die in, but some how he makes it out alive every time. Being very confident in his abilities, he's ready to fight anyone if they're a threat, no matter how powerful the foe, he'll never back down. Pain will not use his all of his power against just anyone, he refuses to kill unless given no other choice, and with his strength it's far too easy against most. He has a heart of gold and believes life is precious, that no one has the right to take it. However, he is willing to cross that line to end pure evil. In his eyes it is the lesser of two evils, let evil live and continue it's rampage, or end it before it can.

A natural leader, inspiring courage and strength into his allies, his words are brief, but powerful, many would follow him to hell and back; many have. He has a good sense of humor despite his rough appearance, it follows him into battle even if it's life or death. Pain's a bit of a trash talker, and enjoys his far share of sarcastic taunts too. Though he doesn't encourage his allies or team to take their enemies or missions as a joke, he is the type to try and lighten the situation. The Big Guy is not afraid to lay his life down for someone, and is known for taking the hit for his buddies. Pain is very protective when it comes to anyone, he guards all life, especially those he's close to. Despite all the good deeds he's done, sometimes he still doubts that he is a good man; sometimes he's his own worst enemy.

The Big Guy is very slow to change and accepting new people, he usually just pushes them away, figuring he is better off on his own. Pain prefers doing things his way, he's extremely stubborn at times, but when it comes down to the wire he's a teamplayer. He's a natural loner, and enjoys a good amount of time to himself, but he usually cannot get that. Pain is also an insomniac, rarely getting sleep, which is unfortunate because he really loves it. Pain is a tough bad ass who demands respect and shows it in return. He's sort of old fashioned, and tries to be a gentleman, but he's not exactly the best at it.

History: Brock was born in Russia and lived there for most of his life. His parents we're apart of a secret military branch. They were both killed on duty when Brock was about five. He didn't know too much about them because they were always away at work. He was usually taken care of by a nanny, and sometimes they just left him alone. Brock was taken into foster care and was adopted multiple times by foster parents, the typical foster kid story. He never really stayed long with any of them. Maybe about 6 months at the longest. Until he hit around 10. He stayed with an abusive foster father. Brock was beaten almost everyday. He never really went to school, because his father didn't want anyone to see the bruises or scars. He was practically nothing more than a slave. At around 14 he decided to run away. He lived with an older friend of his named Albert, and Albert was a drug addict. He eventually got Brock into it. Brock stopped going to school. He figured it was a waste of time. So in his spare time, when he wasn't doing coke, he began to study martial arts. He was a natural, he learned at a nearby Dojo. At around sixteen he became so good that his master began one on one lessons in the deadly arts of altered fighting and all kinds of mixed martial arts. (altered meaning drunk/high etc.) Brock studied this for about ten years, while still abusing cocaine. Once his Master died of old age he traveled to the states (US). He decided to start a new life, start fresh... Once in the U.S. he carried a normal life for about 4 months. But while drug dealing in the city alleys he was abducted by a mysterious group called Project Perfection. He was tested on with strange inhuman experiments. They changed him into some thing different, something not human; they changed him into the ultimate weapon. Brock was barely the same person anymore, his blonde hair faded to grey, his deepest scars would never go away, and he barely felt a thing. Brock was given something, it was a gift and a curse. He chose to wear it proudly. Two years later he met two extremely powerful people Emmett Kirkmand, and Ein Kinneas. They started an organization of super heroes they called Guardian Units Of The Nation's or for short GUN. They were determined to change the world and bring peace to it. Their main goal is to bring down the villain organization called Secret Crime Association of Rejects or for short SCAR that plague the planet. But on the side they work with the governments of the world to bring peace.
Pain along with his allies fought against Doomplague and Mistresso in a final stand on the moon, unfortunately his brother was killed in the battle...Sacrificing himself for Mistresso's life...While the others struggled to take down DoomPlague...DoomPlague had managed to defeat and kill every single one of Pain's allies...And then stood the last two men in the galaxy...For DoomPlague had wiped out the rest of it...Pain managed to defeat DoomPlague after a long grueling battle, bringing him to his knees and ripping his throat out...Causing all the souls and destruction DoomPlague had caused to be reversed...Pain was once again Earth's hero...But in his heart he knew that he was not the real hero, It was his own brother Emmett. After the merge Brock fell into a depression, leaving GUN for almost ten years before ever even showing his face. But now he has returned, but not for the better. He has found his best friend Ein beaten and murdered by the new SCAR. Pushing Pain onto a whole new level of depression and anger, nut this time instead of moping around, he has decided to do something about it. Pain is back, and SCAR is gonna pay...But in contrast to Pain's depression, he has made some new good friends. Such as his good friend Slamfist, or his twisted love story between Alruna and Raine. Pain truly has much in store for him for this New Era...
Raine has left Pain heart broken and alone once again, his youngest brother and best friend Ein was murdered not soon after by a group of murderous villains belonging to the group SCAR, who the Demonic Prince Raide Nargeit was in control of at the time, he was the one who sent the order for the two Symbiotes to find and destroy Ein. Pain arrived to his best friends broken and beaten body, struggling and barely clinging to life he managed to give a few last words. Pain was then confronted by his brother Emmett's spirit, coming to guide Ein home, and leaving Pain alone on Earth once again. Pain would be forced to take his youngest brother and best friend back to HQ to bury his body, swearing vengeance on the two symbiotes Fantom and Relic, the murderers of many innocent lives. They would slip from his grasp time and time again, slipping from his grasp just barely every time, and Pain would always give them one hell of a fight, always winning. Pain and everyone else have been taking care of the world, living their lives and dealing with the usual villains, menaces, invasions and disasters. It was just part of being apart of GUN. Pain fell for a beautiful Succubus named Alruna who just happens to be the sister of the worlds greatest threat in years, their most powerful foe, the Demonic Prince Raide Nargeit! Pain was slow to accepting new people, and slow to loving Alruna. So she grew impatient with him and cheated on him with an old enemy and rival of his, whom he still was forced to stop from doing evil here and there. Feeling betrayed and hurt once again, he shut himself off and simply returned to his job and life, well what was left of it. Life could never just cut him a break...But will things change with this new Demon on the rise of power?!?
After the Heroes banded together with the most unlikely of allies to defeat The Prince of Darkness, Pain faded off, forgetting about everyone at GUN. He even broke up with his new girlfriend Scarletta, a wonderful young woman he pretty much just selfishly threw away. He needed time to himself, time to be himself again and figure out what the hell was going on in his head.
But the big guy is back now, and he's ready to crush some skulls.

Powers: Brock's feelings and three of his senses have been numbed down to nearly nothing, he barely feels a thing most of the time, he can barely taste even the most delicious foods, and even the most foul odors can't even be registered. Brock is unable to age and unable to die by any natural causes, so the only way out is if someone else takes him out. He has a rather slow healing factor capable of healing even the most fatal wounds, he can even lose a limb and reattach it with this factor. He is also pretty much physically indestructible, his bones and organs are all stronger than even the toughest metals. His superior strength and endurance is said to have no limits, being one of the strongest heroes around.

Not a month, I was more thinking more like a couple hours . If you manage to cut my limb off in combat. How the hell would I ever reattatch it while fighting you? I could run, recover, and try to fight you again another time, that's the point of the power. It's not like with Piccolo' regen where if I lose an arm, poof two minutes later I got another. It has to be my arm/limb and it takes time.

I was talking only combat wise. I would assume healing factors are more effective if the body isn't under stress anyway, allowing for that to happen outside combat. I second the approval.
