Possible missing threads?
I can't help but feel there are threads/subjects missing. For example, Is there a reason we can only be in the USA? Was everywhere else some how wiped off the map? If so, what is the story behind it? Is there a story thread? Where could someone like me, who is a new comer here, learn about past events? What IS the general idea of whats going on right now?
Is the reason we don't have a general discussion board because we have the chatroom? The chatroom seems to not be used very often though.
A friend of mine was looking to join the site and asked questions about the power grid. He couldn't find a key as to what the numbers actually mean. For example, is 1 average? things of that nature.

Ah alright. Wouldn't it be easier and more efficient to put that in the character creation section though?

Re: Possible missing threads?
I wouldn't consider it 100% accurate. If 1 point in intelligence is "Impaired/slow", why bother putting a point in it? If 1 point in strength still means you can't lift your own body weight, why bother with 1? To me, it just helped me make a character. I would call it guidelines more than actual rules.

Re: Possible missing threads?
but unless there is something else running around, that is the closest thing to an explanation. I mean, when I made my character, I understood energy projection would be really important, and Everything else I tried to even out to what I assumed would be a bit more "average", so a lot of my stats are at 3.

Re: Possible missing threads?
I think really the statsheet should be proportioned to your characters priorities. A mind-controller like Xavier would have 6-7 Intelligence and 6-7 Energy protection, a character like The Hulk would have 6-7 Durability, 6-7 strength. A character like Daredevil would have 6-7 fighting skill. While some skills are high, others will be obviously low. Or in your case, balanced. I'd just make your character appropriately.
Example, my characters basically only strength is her power. So I basically put it all into her Energy Projection. And a bit into Fighting skill since it increases that. Everything else is 1-2.

No You can be outside the US. Its a bit overlooked as the Staff of this forum. I can try to convince an admin to add a section outside the US but for now, post out of country threads into the other cities section. As a Moderator, I cannot directly change the forum. just move things around at most...
Somewhere along the lines is a giant story of the history but i dunno where it is...

Re: Possible missing threads?
Outside of the U.S. used to exist, but it was so under used that Pain didn't add it back after the site was updated. If you guys are wanting to use other areas I'll be happy to add them. Also, those measurements aren't exactly correct. I could have sworn an updated one was somewhere around here. I'll try and find it and post it in the character rules.

Re: Possible missing threads?
I just thought it was odd is all. I do think it would add a bit more realism to the game though. At least that way when we have big events, they can be of a more global scale.
