Costume Description/Image: (image under construction) The Centurion is a massive man whom wears a recreation of original Roman cohort armor and garb. Although slightly more flashy version, due to his former career in the sports entertainment industry. The armor does appear to be function but is more for aesthetics than anything else. He in fact, has to keep several copies of the garb because much to his chagrin they don't hold up as well as he does in the epic battles he engages in. It consists of a faux-bronze chest plate and helm; Half cape, leather strap knee high sandals, and war skirt. One of the few real items he carries is a family heirloom past down through generations; an ancient Gladius.

Personality: He believes that he is in fact the reincarnation of the Roman God of War; Mars and acts accordingly. He is brash and hot tempered, most times unable to control his violent temper. Fortunately due to his extensive military background he follows orders given to him by his superiors to a "T". He his wildly prideful, to a fault and if issued a challenge, he finds it near impossible to turn down regardless of how impossible it seems.

History: Marcus was born the only child to his parents; Italian immigrants and was born in New York. His mother died at childbirth leaving only his strict father to raise the troublesome boy. His Father tucking him every night with tales of ancient mythos. Luckily he was fortunate enough to be accepted to a school that had one of the finest wrestling programs in the US. He excelled at it and won State championship his final three years of finishing school, even winning a gold medal in Olympics for his skills in the art of hand to hand combat. After graduating high school he was faced with the tough decision of either accepting one of the many college scholarships granted to him or following in his father's footsteps and joining the Military. He choose the latter, trying once again to please his father, a running trend in his life. Here to did he find that he excelled and found a home in the special forces section of Marine corps; Marine Special Operations Regiment.

To his great shame, and for reasons still unknown his was issued a dishonorable discharge, after an impressive four tours of duty. He will not divulge the reasons of this and if asked usually becomes violent. After finding himself without a career in his chosen field , Marcus fell into a slump and found himself homeless until a particularly shady pro wrestling manager saw the behemoth of a man on the street one day. Though Marcus felt a certain shame in accepting a contract from a falsified competitive sport, He was promoted up through the ranks. Just before his title weight bout, jealous others began to complain that no man could have gained the size and muscle bulk that Marcus had put on in that short of a time. The commissioner order a mandatory drug test to see if he had been using illegal performance enhancing substances. When the text results came back Marcus wasn't shocked to find that he wasn't guilty of drug abuse, but instead of being classified with a specific DNA of a Meta-human. Regardless it was still grounds to have him disbarred from the sport.

Depressed and angered by this final slight, fate had dealt against him, Marcus took his created persona of "The Centurion" as a Pro Wrestler and struck out in the field of Superheroes . Although shunned by his peers due to the silly former career choice Marcus has set out to prove to them that he is in fact the reincarnation of the ancient and forgotten Deity, Mars.

Powers: The Centurion's power is in a constant state of growth, although he started as frail as any other human early in life. Strength endurance, speed and density are all amplified to super human levels and continue to grow more impressive. Although not currently invulnerable he has been injured in the past. But each period of healing seems to further the extent of his physical prowess. He knows that when it is all said and done that he will be as unbeatable as his as the God of War himself, a true avatar.

Just to clear it up, he doesn't have regeneration, right? When you say period of healing you mean an actual recovery time? Also his speed is not superhuman yet. It's roughly Olympian, but not superhuman.
