Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

Greetings
Hello to my fellow Superpeople. I was just wonder how I go about character creation. I tried accessing the Hero Application and was informed that you must be approved first. Where do I submit my character? I read through the introduction and most of the other beginner stuff, could some one plz give this newb a hand?

Re: Greetings
Welcome. If you continue to scroll down from the Approved Villains, Approves Heroes, and Approved Renegades buttons, you will see a bunch of bios just floating around in neither one of these options. You should run across a shiny red button that says "NEW" in white on it. Your going to want to click that, and then get started on your bio.

Re: Greetings
In the character area there is a template copy and paste it into a new topic started right at the character page, not in the actual hero or villains section.

Re: Greetings
I would love to familiarize myself with exactly how you all RP. I would like to know your exact definitional on the subject as I have been RPing for a while and have found that everyone seems to do it a bit differently.
1) Are these threads 'Open Sandboxes'? or are they more controlled.
2)Do I have complete control over my narrative? or Does the Thread creator take a more hands on approach?
3) Can I make my own villians to fight against or is that up to the thread creator?
4) May I interact in more than one thread topic at a time?
5)How does time work in between threads, are they running concurrent or in separate time frames?
6) I am an avid thread creator with a wild imagination, are their oppertunities for me to ply my trade?
7)How exactly does your PVP system work?
8) Have you read any of my writing and do you have critques on it?

Re: Greetings
1: Most are open and have fun kinda deals but like all things some are private.
2: Your character is your responsibility and yours alone, In big stories a topic master may bring enemies that are stronger for you to face and will control them but your character is all you.
3: Npc's are allowed and can be used at anytime just don't make it a god that you can bring down with a flick of your finger, If you are gonna make a npc make it a challenge or at least something to have a effect.
4: Things have changed since I left but as I recall your allowed 2 threads at once and no more until you finish one.
5: Time is difficult sometimes it may be past other future you just have to figure out time lines for yourself, Different threads will have different times. Some may be memories that your invited to be part of and others visions of a future.
6:Your trade is very welcome and is hoped you will apply all of your creativity, We encourage avid rpers and hope you will use all of your talents.
7: Player vs Player is a interesting system, Normally it is turn based fighting and auto hits and god modding are not allowed. Main characters require permission to slaughter however secondary characters do not. You can use all your talents to beat your opponent just no miracle dodges and miraculous recovery.
Finally: I have read some of your posts and they are quiet nice, Note we have all sorts of rpers with there own ways so don't judge yourself better or worse. Quality over quantity.

Re: Greetings
To add on 7
Taking/delivering hits often is confusing and oftentimes gets into a boring throw punch dodge counter, dodge time paradox. This is why we allow 2-3 actions per post, so you can try to sneak a fake or hide a second attack behind the ruse of the first. Take note of such things and take advantage of it if your opponent does not mention anything about them.
Here's a small RP sample of my characters. Details are skimmed for conceptual understanding.
Two characters: Gunslinger(Gunner antihero) Tobais(alchemist)
______________________________________
Gunslinger:
Gunslinger took out a pistol with his left hand and a grenade with his right, He started to shoot at Tobais while lighting the grenade and rolling it at him
Tobais:
Tobais hid behind a nearby wall hiding from the bullets. He drew a glyph on the wall to attempt to take down the building, he hoped he didnt come around.
Gunslinger:
The grenade rolled behind the corner exploding and hitting tobais.

/\ Perfectly acceptable.

Re: Greetings
Hey everybody, I started posting in a new thread called, "Media Blitz" in the L.A. section to the Northern America arc. It's a Modern Hollywood Noir satire that focuses on the effects of press and media in the super hero genre. I would say that charters should probably have a modern flashy look and concept to mesh with the trendy Hollywood lifestyle. The thread will definitely be focusing on the 'California-Cool ' aspect of it.
And remember, I always enjoy a good villain , as long as it fits into the glamorous life style out west.

Re: Greetings
Which is where I can't do much, because I would not be robbing a bank. I don't need the money. But I'm following that thread at any rate, because it looks to be interesting.
