After Nightkill left, Sul didn't seem to have a reason to linger. He threw the cigarette to the ground, then leapt up on a scaffolding in an alleyway. He disappeared out of the scene, lurking for another person in danger. Which was bound to happen, New York wasn't a safe place at night.
