Alignment: Neutral, sort of, but not really nice.
Age: A lot of years. The first recorded suicide was in 2000 B.C., so despair and depression have been around for quite a long time.
Gender: It inhibits a male body at the moment.
Race: Demon thingy
Hair: Black, it’s always black. That’s because Acedion dyes it whenever he inhibits a human.
Eyes: At the moment blue.
Height: At the moment 6’7”
Weight: 176 lbs

Costume Description/Image: Well, in a way, his human body is some sort of a costume.

Personality: Acedion is always depressed and suicidal. In its/his eyes, there is no such thing as ‘good’ in the world. Every day it lived, it has tried to kill itself, but since it’s Self-Death incarnate, it is unable to do so, which resolved in even greater depression. Life is a burden to it and being virtually immortal doesn’t really make him feel any better. Since it is always depressed it never laughs and seldomly interacts with other people (which makes him also apathic). In fact, when somebody is in need of help, or thinking about suicide, Acedion will always try to “end that person’s suffering” by either remain idle or talk one into suicide. In other words: he’s worse than apathic; he wants you to suffer and die. However, he will never try to intentionally kill somebody, partially because it’s too much effort, partially because it does not give him satisfaction (well…sort of); only self-murders do.
Besides the whole stereo-type emo-thingy, Acedion is also a complete psycho. Very often, he walks the streets talking to himself. He has frequent yet random mental episodes in which he falls out on complete strangers and rants on and on about unearthly and philosophical matters, most notably the meaning of life and the reasons of existance (which there isn’t in his eyes).

History: The Spirit of Despair has been around for some while; over 4000 years. The Spirit itself has not a very interesting personality, it just seeks hosts to survive and feed off other peoples misery. It can remember stuff, though, but it need a human mind to fully utilise its own thinking potential.
Anyway, Acedion originally comes from Africa. It has always been around, but in 4000 B.C. a suicidal wizard banished out his dark thoughts by means of dark magic. This caused a dark and dangerous entity to emerge from the depts of the wizard’s mind, which lived on to feed of other people’s misery and despair.
Since 6000 years is quite a long time, I won’t write down Acedion’s entire history, but just a few highlights:
- Acedia / Acedion got it’s name in Ancient Greece.
- It caused the suicides of a lot of very important people, such as Cleopatra.
- It has been confused with banshees in the past.
- It has creeped out a lot of people in his true form, which contributed to the forming of a lot of myths.
The body it currently possesses used to be a depressed goth guy called Tristan Humpfry who encountered Acedion on his first suicide attempt (he was 17 at the time and should be 29 by now). He got possessed and now he serves as Acedion’s material vessel.

Powers:
- Immune to suicide: Acedion cannot kill himself in any way, for he is Suicide incarnated. And, because of his suicidal nature, he will always think of an attack as a chance to get killed. Which wouldn’t work since it would count as suicide (or rather euthanasia). It kinda works like really fast regeneration.
- Seed of Despair: Acedion is able to inspire or enhance grim, depressed or suicidal thoughts within a range of 500 yards.
- Sin telepathy: since everybody has it, he has it too. Acedion can communicate over long range with the other Sins, and creatures of his own kind of sin.
- Possession: Acedion is able to possess the body of another weak-willed human after the death of his current host. He can only possess depressed or suicidal people and he can only travel 72 yards outside his host. Thankfully for his own sake, he can’t be killed easily.
- Claw of Darkness: Acedion is able to temporarily put the talons of his true form on the outside of his host’s body. In other, more practical words: he can transform his hand into a black claw. The claw can cut through pretty tough material, such as steel. Steel is actually the limit. It’s a mean claw, though.

You need higher EP for the amount of powers you have, really fast regen alone I believe is 3 or 4. You probably need a good 5-6 points in EP for this guy.

Haha, I'm glad you like it. It was pretty difficult to come up with a personality for Dion. And make it fit with his powers. But I thought like this; there's only one thing sadder than wanting to kill yourself, and that is wanting it and not being able to do so. At least, I think it's sadder, I don't know about you.

Id hate to say it but you'd need to listen to the boss is right. I don't like:
- Seed of Despair: Acedion is able to inspire or enhance grim, depressed or suicidal thoughts within a range of 500 yards.
This violates a control other PC god modding rule. Now if it was NPC its fine but otherwise no. I would allow the ATTEMPT to seed despair, but nothing more.

I am seeing this problem a lot. I know it's an archetype of the 7 deadly sins, but that's no reason to break rules already in place. however the reason.

Because the power doesn't directly control a PC it isnt considered against the rules, controlling powers are OP because you could control someone to kill themselves, his power doesn't necessarily do that because its still up to the PC how he deals with its effects, its more of an RP element, like Jackies rage ability
