Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

Re: A Night in Hollywood
"Oh, i doubt that i was ever welcome. Being different has it's perks, i'll admit. And then... Well, there are things you give up to live supernaturally. Actually, I'm one of the lucky ones, leaving my 'family' wasn't even hard for me..." Talia put air-quotes in the word family. "This is a rather depressing conversation... So in short: Yes to the question about combo... I dunno if I'll ever discover any more powers, but i also have a speed thing, i can go -in simplest terms- really fast. I'm laughing on the inside about going home, not because i will, because it is so very unlikely. Almost killing people usually makes them alienate you... I'd be surprised if they didn't call the cops on me for showing up at their door..."
Talia chuckled darkly. In truth, she didn't even want to go back. That place wasn't a home. It was a house she lived in until she figured things out. And until she almost killed her "dad"... That might have put a little dent in the welcome scale...

Re: A Night in Hollywood
"Must really suck not to have a family to go back to. Where do you live?"
Jack had it lucky. He may of lost his mother to cancer, but he still had a home with a father and very loving relatives all around the country. Talia didn't. Maybe she had friends, but home is where the heart is at. At least that is what the saying was. Jack finished up the rest of his glass and looked to Talia.
"Ain't you gonna get anything?"

Re: A Night in Hollywood
"I don't drink..." Talia said, "I've had... bad experiences with people who do... My foster father was an alcoholic... He used to..."' Talia's face fell. "Well... let's just say he was... unhappy, so he drank all the time, and when he was drunk he was angry and... He made other people just as unhappy..." Talia stopped and looked at her feet. She sighed and shook her head, producing a weak smile. "Sorry... I should really get a therapist..." She put a hand up and rubbed the back of her head.
"Anyway, I live... Anywhere? i can usually rent a hotel room. I never stay in one place for long..."

Re: A Night in Hollywood
Jack decided he was done with drinking... At least for the night. He didn't want to bring up any bad memories for his new friend.
"So do you have any idea who your real parents are? Maybe they had powers too and it was genetic."
It cost money to live places. Jack wondered if she stole to survive. He probably wouldn't stop her for little petty crimes if it was just for survival. Jack mainly went after crooks who were murderers, rapists, or anyone who was a danger to the innocent.
"How can you afford that?"

Re: A Night in Hollywood
"I kinda have friends in high places... My best friends are a group of musicians, and I am usually their 'plus one'," Talia chuckled. "They actually have no idea who i really am... they call me the runaway and i'm good with it. You're the first person who i've felt comfortable around in a long time..."
Almost comfortable enough to flirt... said her subconscious, but she pushed it aside. She didn't need another tear in her already patchwork heart.
