Whispers From The Windy City

Sakura felt everything around her slow down, she took a deep breath and ran towards the nearest building at full speed, she had 30 seconds. Sakura hit the wall of the building and ran up it as fast as she could the moment her foot hit the roof she bounded backwards, 12 seconds left till she timed out. Sakura span in mid-air just about to land on top of Lust or whatever her name was.

Time began to speed up and return to normal. Sakura pushed her right hand out and fired a volley of dragons into thr demonesses back before gripping at the monsters tail. Her armour dissipated and she struggled to keep herself concious ...

The Inquisitor didnt expect to be used as some kind of swinging toy but was nonetheless prepared to retaliate. With his training he attempted to grab the sides of the heels' point and move his hands in two swift movements to snap the heel clean off. It could come in useful.

Landing and rolling about 5 feet away, The Inquisitor turned to face the demoness, but couldnt see his temporary ally to assist. "where the fuck did she go?" The Inquisitor shouted

Lusteria grunted as she was struck in the back. She fell to the ground, shocked that the woman had done such damage. And broken her top - almost, it was holding on by a couple of ties on the back. Thankfully, her top had a bit of armor in it, not enough to keep the strike from hurting but enough to prevent any fatal damage.

She got to her feet and brushed herself off. "You broke my goddamn heels..." She muttered as she fely herself tip backwards a little. But she always had the best armor and this armor had about 4 heels in the boot of it. 4 each. But she'd used two each already, so she was on her last pair. There was now annoyance on Lusteria's face and she walked over to her assailant.

"That was a dirty move, little girl." Lusteria really hated it when she looked bad. "And now, well... I'm going to have to punish you." She placed a boot on Sakura's throat. It was easy to see that the woman was close to passing out.

The Inquisitor noticed he'd been able to remove the heel, which could now double up as a dagger. This demoness "Lusteria" was walking over to that Burst Knight Dragon. That couldn't bode well for the girl. The Inquisitor began to take a run at the demoness, spinning the dagger round in his hand to prepare for a reverse stab into her back, and took a dive at her- a total make or break moment.

Lusteria ducked as she whipped around, her foot having to leave her prey. She narrowed her eyes and sighed.

"This sin't over, but i think I am fighting an uneven battle." Lusteria turned, morphed, and ran. As a wolf, she was a very fast runner.

The Inquisitor hit the wall- hard. A heavy thud and a sound of fast moving paws leaving the scene meant that the fight for now was over. The Inquisitor slumped down for a bit and lay there for a while. "Fuck that hurt" came from his mouth as he stumbled up a bit later, checking the Burst Knight Dragon's pulse to make sure she was still alive. "Don't die on me!" The Inquisitor shouted.

Sakura hit the ground hard, letting out a slightly pathetic whine.
"That was a dirty move, little girl." someone muttered. "And now, well... I'm going to have to punish you."
Sakura rolled onto her side and gazed up at Lusteria through hazy eyes. For a second Sakura wondered what she meant by the word "punish" then she felt a boot force itself down on her throat.

She gasped heavily as she felt herself slowly fall to sleep ...

"Don't die on me!"
Sakura opened her eyes hazily and looked up, the masked man was standing over her.
"... Hello," Sakura muttered pitifully.

The Inquisitor, for the first time in a long time, felt relieved. "Glad to see you stayed awake during the festivities. Are you hurt?" He offered his hand out in an unemotional fashion to help her up.

Nightkill had been watching the whole thing. He recognized Sakura from his time as Nightshade, and was curious about the Inquisitor. "I'm not killing them yet." he decided.
But a sin was here. An actual sin!
That was rare. Nightkill ran alongside Lust. "Hello." the scorpion said. The sin still affected him, just not to the extent of when he was human form.

"Glad to see you stayed awake during the festivities. Are you hurt?" The Inquisitor asked.
"Not particularly no," Sakura said, examining herself.
She smiled groggily at the man and held out her hand. "I think we got off on the wrong foot, feel like hunting a demon?"

helping her up, Inquisitor scanned her quickly for injuries. "Looks like your burnt yourself out using them fancy powers. And im no demon hunter, but not much in the world will attempt to kill me and get away with it. The Inquisitor growled a little before rearranging his clothes and turning to look for which way this "Lusteria" went.

(off to bed, night )

Lusteria smiled a little, the scorpion was obviously chaotic.

"Hello. You, i would imagine, are chaotic, no?" Lusteria said politey. She stopped running and shook her head, all that fur made it very hot. Lusteria decided to morph, becoming human again. Immediately her skin was cooled by the Chicago air. She breathed a sigh of relief as the pangs of Morphing so many times in a day receded.

Nightkill looked at her. "You are a sin. Quite amazing, I have never actually seen a sin before. I'll make you a deal. I'll keep you safe from the people following you, in exchange for a blood sample." he said, trying to be unaffected by the phenhormones.

"Heh, You'll get no blood from me... Only the Prince is entitled to my sacrilege," Lusteria replied. "Besides, I can force you to help me anyway. You already feel it, the pheromones, they're creeping inside you. Don't i smell good? Don't you want me? To protect me? Trust me, You don't want to try to cut a deal with a sin," She tossed her now human head, sending her red hair flying for a second.

Nightkill growled. "If you don't want my help, so be it." he said, trying to resist the urge to help her. He was managing, and backing away slowly, though it was very difficult to move back, and he doubted he could hold on longer. Occasionally his biological side was annoying, and he envied Voltron for being only cyborg.
Emotions are important, however, but like everything, they have a bad side.

(I'm gonna have to continue without Burst Knight Dragon, don't want to lose the storyline)

The Inquisitor was just finished sorting himself out when he turned around, noticing that Burst Knight Dragon had gone. "Nice to see you run off at a time like this" he grumbled sarcastically before turning to walk down the street where this "Lusteria" crazy demon bitch had went. Time was of the essence, as it couldnt have been any later than 2am, but finding her in a city like Chicago was going to take time. "If I was a demon, the entity of lust, where would I go? Funny i'm asking myself, lust is for the weak" The Inquisitor took a left turn at the next street when his fine hearing picked up a sound of a faint growl. Human or not, The Inquisitor turned and paced down the street to investigate.
