Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

Re: Tracking a Mastermind
"A sides mismatched as that would be disadvantageous. What do you need to know. If it pertains to the identity of my employers I cannot divulge that information. They prefer to remain in a cloud of anonimity." The man remained motionless, aside from subtle movements do to breathing and normal swaying.

Re: Tracking a Mastermind
Sul-fury wasn't getting anywhere like this. Nobody here was willing to back down from their positions, it was getting uncomfortable. He decided to change tactics.
"I thought maybe your employers are lookin' for some new muscle, if it pays good. Your average thugs seem to have gotten their brains knocked out."
Sul-fury let go of the end of the bumper on the truck, innocently raising his hands to indicate he meant no harm.

The man sheathed his katana in response to the obsidian construct's sign of peace and bowed.
"No disrespect, but my employers aren't in the market for thugs or enforcers. If you make a name for yourself you may be contacted, but the bulk of our forces are made, not hired."

Re: Tracking a Mastermind
The situation seemed to cool down a little bit. As a sort of similar sign of peace, be it most likely temporary peace, the woman lowered her weapon. She kept her eyes fixated on the cloaked person, though. "I hope your offer for answering questions still stands for me as well." She said, paused a while. "Because I would like to know what to call you. Makes the world a lot easier that way." She quickly glared at Sul-fury. "I'll share my name too, if you two desire to know it."

Teiji bowed respectively at the woman as well, "I am Teiji Yoritomo. My callsign is E."

Re: Tracking a Mastermind
The woman bowed as well and decided to identify herself: "It is an honour to meet you, E. I am Lady Elisabeth Gauss. Call me Gauss, if you will." It was almost certain that 'Gauss' actually was a pseudonym, but that did not really matter. She straighted her back and trained her eyes on the only unnamed person at the scene, at least the only one that was still alive. "That only leaves you a mysterious stranger. What do I ....we need to call you?" And what are you? She thought.

Re: Tracking a Mastermind
Sul-fury folded his arms. "Sul-fury. I'm looking for a man who calls himself "Hurricane", whether you two will claim to have knowledge of his whereabouts or not. I thought I had a strong lead this was one of his many lairs.
I suppose now that we exchanged pleasantries we're supposed to act as if you didn't want the contents for yourself, you never shot me, and walk away?" He raised an eyebrow.

Re: Tracking a Mastermind
The woman thought for a second before answering Sul-fury's questions: "Hmmm...Hurricane...Hurricane....There's this german harmonica player I know called 'the Hurricane', but I doubt your looking for him." She looked into the yellow eyes of the black monster. "And about the whole me shooting you thing; I was completely in my right, since you were swinging with that wooden pole. It startled me..." The lady kicked around a pebble with her pitch-black army boots before looking at the samurai-guy. "Perhaps you know a guy called 'Hurricane'?"

Re: Tracking a Mastermind
"Perhaps you won't get an answer" a barely audible whisper drifted through the air. Ekko phased in next to his partner honed in on his heart beat. "You have always had the virtue of patience my friend." Ekko said to Teiji without turning his head towards his partner, he focused his gaze on the two others in front of him.
"This would have been so much easier if you had just killed them." Ekko whispered as he clenched his sword tightly. "Now I am not as level headed as my partner here, leave the cargo here, leave and stop asking questions while you still have that option." Ekko whispered as he pointed in the opposite direction as if to show the two where to go.

Re: Tracking a Mastermind
Sul-fury watched on, as Ekko turned the conversation back into aggression, tightening his grip on his sword.
"And here I thought we were making some progress. Your weapon doesn't frighten me, I've taken worse heat than that. And you.." Sul said raising his chin to Teiji.
"Are you going to let him speak for you then, or will you tell me what I need to know? I'd hate to have to force it out of ya."

"I know of no one by the name." Teiji replied in short fashion. In the end it didn't matter, Ekko wouldn't leave until one of them was dead anyway.

Re: Tracking a Mastermind
"Your hollow threats are misplaced and dangerous." Ekko said as he focused his glare on Sul-Fury. "I suggest you drop the tough guy facade and leave before you end your own life, this is the last time I tell you, I do not exude the patience my partner does." he said in his normal whisper.
Ekko clenched his sword once more no more than a second could have past by since he last spoke. "Too late" he shouted causing a sonic wave twisting towards Sul-Fury.

Re: Tracking a Mastermind
Sul crossed his arms at an incoming pulse of sonic energy hurled at him. He braced his legs, getting pushed backwards a few meters, his feet shredding the concrete and kicking it up into the air. The force of the attack was too much energy, he fell backwards on his back.
He quickly rolled over and grabbed two slabs of concrete that were recently ripped up and effortlessly hurled them like frisbys at Ekko while running towards him.

Re: Tracking a Mastermind
The slabs broke apart in mid air as a pulse of electric enrgy smashed into one and concentrated air pressure waves sliced the other into pieces. Teiji's blades were sheathed before anyone could register what had happened. He took off at Sul-Fury at full speed. ((Note that this is only barely superhuman running speeds since almost all of my speed stat is meant to display the speeds my arms can reach, which is technically at a 5 not a 4 like my powergrid states since I can only achieve those speeds with my arms and not actually running.))

Re: Tracking a Mastermind
Sul immediately registered through his mind that Teiji was quick and agile, which proved to be one of his weaknesses in battles past, but he grinned at the challenge. He met Teiji in the middle, leaping forward into the air, flinging his closed fist behind his back. He threw his fist forward and slammed it down with most of his strength at the intersect point inbetween him and the swordsman.

Re: Tracking a Mastermind
Lady 'Gauss', as she called herself, had quickly jumped behind a large crate in the mean time. It was all very confusing to her. People appearing from nowhere, rumbling voices that could and did shatter stuff. Who...or rather what were these people? Elisabeth took the time to evaluate the situation. Person one; a big black hulking man, appearantly incredibly strong. Person two: Samurai kind of person, quick and agile, swordswinging, etc. Person three: Mysterious investigator like person, with the amazing ability to talk insanely loud, just like Gauss's sonic rifle which got fried by Voltrons EMP bolt a couple of weeks earlier.
The lady checked how much ammunition she had left; six bullets in the current clip, and another 12 in the magazine in her pocket. And if that wouldn't be sufficient, she would always have her 'backup-power'. Yeah, if somebody's going to die today, it's not going to be me, she thought as she put the clip back in the gun and cocked the weapon.
