“Whip me harder, you whore!” He screamed, pure ecstasy showing on his face as he kneeled in front of her. Kayla grinned wickedly, pulling her arm back, whip in hand. It was a long black snake, just over five feet in length and as bendy as the woman who wielded it. She flicked her wrist, lashing out with the tendril end of the instrument, aiming for it to wrap around the straining throat of the man.

It hit its mark, and before the man knew what was happening, he was dying. Skinny fingers of capillaries in his eyes began to grow as pressure grew, finally exploding as a ghastly blue colour took over his face before asphyxiation took full hold.

He gargled out something that sounded somewhat close to “You really are a whore,” and collapsed. Kayla smiled, and as she slowly unwound the whip from his neck, whispered in his ear.

“Thanks for the tip,” She laughed quietly, then tugged a large wad of bills from the slacks that were draped over one of the hotel’s chairs. Her leather suit squeaked when Kayla began to put her coat on, and she growled in annoyance.

After pocketing the money, the loud slapping of her high heels could be heard descending the stairs and then out on the side walk, into the cool night air. Leaving the body in a hotel room like that probably wasn’t a good idea, she now realised, but there wasn’t much she could’ve done.

Cars and taxis passed Kayla, but she didn’t notice. The rush she got from killing someone was immense, overthrowing her thought process and leaving her with a slight afterglow. Being in this state, she didn’t notice her steps leading into the park across from the hotel, and it was a while before Kayla figured she was lost.

Nightkill was walking down the street in human form. Walking around in alien form was sure to freak someone out, and Kill perfered to not get in a fight. Well, unless absolutely nessarcy. He yawned, and checked his watch. It was getting late, and he was walking for the heck of it. He was also looking for potential superhumans, to kidnap and learn about. But mostly, he was walking to clear his thoughts.
Kill walked into a park, and yawned. He saw a woman there. "Hello." the creature said cheerfully. "You lost or something?" he asked. "My name is Seth." he said, introducing himself, and holding out his hand for a shake.

Kayla looked at his hand disdainfully for a moment, ignoring it and glaring into his eyes. "No. I'm not lost. I just happen to like to take walks this late at night." She sneered at him some more, "Why would you assume I'm lost? It's not as if you couldn't be lost yourself, and I didn't go asking who you are and what you're doing here."

She turned away from him, striding off in the other direction, but quickly finding it lead no where. Her voice was lowered, and her eyes cast down when she walked back up to him."A-and... What if I am lost?"

The creature chuckled, and looked slightly offended while doing so. "Well, I don't see why you have to be rude about it." he said. He smiled, and sat down on a rock. "Besides," he said softly. "I know things. I know you have been through hurt in your life and so have I." he said. Every superhuman has an origin. he thought to himself. If she reacted to his comment, he would have a superhuman. If she didn't, he wouldn't have a superhuman. He sighed. "So, are you lost, and do you need help?" he asked.

Snake was tired and drunk as he was walking in the streets. He didn't know where he was or what was going on except that he was tired. Though he may have been drunk, he thought he had seen nightkill. He decided to find the bastard.

"What makes me special? Everyone in the world has had to have something happen to them that makes them change forever." Kayla looked down at him, one hip cocked out at an angle and her expression sceptical. "And yeah, I'm lost, but I don't want help from you."

He had a superhuman. Night grinned, and took out a ciggerate. "Alright." the alien shrugged. He lighted the ciggerate, and put it in his mouth. "Mind telling me your name at least?"

"My name's Kayla." She said, digging in the mass of cleavage caused by her skin-tight suit under the coat, searching for her own pack of cigarettes. Kayla found it and a lighter, and lit one, letting the smoke unfurl toward the smoggy city sky.

After a few seconds, it started to rain. "Shit." Night growled. He was wearing a $300 leather jacket. Plus, it was getting pretty windy as well. "So, you need any help getting to your place?" he asked, before he stood up.

"Just get me onto a street I'd remember the name of, and I'll be great." Kayla glared up at the congesting sky. Fucking rain.. She thought, trying to cover as much skin as she could with the lengthy coat she was wearing.

Kill nodded. He started walking. "Come on." he said. "So, what are you doing here in the middle of the night?" he asked.

Kayla followed Seth, keeping a good distance from him. "Oh, I was just working." She grimaced inwardly as she said this, hating herself for what she did. "What I would like to know is why someone who is wearing an obviously expensive jacket is doing walking."

"Because this jacket is comfortable, and I like walking." Well, this part wasn't a lie. "And plus, I was going to my apartment here." this was a lie. He did own an apartment here, but he wasn't going there.

Kayla didn't really believe him, but she ignored the feeling. "I guess that makes sense." She said, quickening her steps as the rain started coming down harder. "And if you don't want to ruin your nice comfy jacket, I suggest you hurry up."
