The physics of penthouse

Laxy deflects the bullets into different directions. She could feel herself losing her energy and knew she only had one chance. As Nightkill drew her in she released a traumatic psychic blast, her eyes began to grow very heavy.

"Oh, shit." he said, as he flew back. He was still holding on to her, so she flew back with him.

Ferrum smiled and watched Overmind as he charged up another blast. "Never hurts to try" he said with a grin as he fired the blast at his chest.

Laxy tried moving her arms to see if she had freed herself. Seeing that she was still constricted she telekinetically grabbed her phone and pulled it towards her and into her hand. She slipped it into her pocket and continued to struggle.

"Look." Nghtkill growled, havng trouble holding her now. "Just come with me, and no harm will be done to you."

Overmind teleported behind Nightkill and sent a wave of telekinetic energy at the villain, hoping to break the bonds he had on his fellow psychic.

Nightkill groaned, retracted his wires, and kneeled. He snarled, and put his hands together. "Kage Bushin no Jutsu! he said, duplcating himself. Then he slapped himself. "Overmind, please tell me I did not just say that." he said, as his clones fired energy blasts at Overmind, and the Commander and the Tiger Knight ran at Overmind to punch him with all their might.

"I don't know if its the breaking and entering or being tied up with wires but I just don't believe you," Laxy got to her knees and conjured up a wall of flame blocking the commander and tiger from Overmind.

Overmind grabbed the clones and slammed them into eachother with enough force to literally crush their faces into the others. "You're 'pets' can't possibly hope to defeat me."

((You have so many minions that I can kinda just do that.))

Ferrum bent and twisted the metal infrastructure of the building causing it to wobble. "Don't worry about them" he said as he began to tear out the supports holding the building up, soon it would collapse.

Laxy hoped to get out of the house before it was too late as the foundation shook. She lunged for the window and crawled to the outside ledge. She positioned herself against the back of the wall and grabbed a long pole that had fallen loose telepathically. She positioned it at an angle against the wall and slid down from the second floor to the ground floor. She turned around at lit both hands flinging everything she could into the room she had just vacated. "I'm sure Overmind will be fine but this should take care of those minions." Laxy began to move towards her car so she could make an exit.

Overmind teleported out of the house to Laxy's position. He cared not for the fight, just about Laxy's safety. He reached out his hand, "Grab on. I can get us outta here. You don't want to be caught dead in a car if Ferrum's around." He lifted his other hand and slowly balled it to give her the general idea of a car crumpling in on itself. "You will literally be caught dead if he sees you."

"I've always preferred alternative means to driving," she grabbed his hand as she heard an explosion come from behind here. "This should be interesting."

The car next to Laxy and Overmind quickly crumpled like a loose sheet of paper, "You can't hide from me forever Overmind." he said with a grin as a cosmic beam struck the ground right next to the psychic.

"I don't need to hide forever Ferrum. Just for a little while. I'll see you later." Overmind saluted Ferrum with his pointer and middle fingers before he and Laxy disappeared from view.

Laxy closed her eyes and felt her surroundings change around her. "Where are we?" She let go of Overmind's hand and reached into her pocket for her lighter to light up a cigarette. She took a drag and blew the smoke downward.
