Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

Where I Should Be
The air was chilled, and Katy fought to keep a shudder from ripping up her spine and tripping her up. Mistakes were something she neither liked, nor could tolerate. Her slender hands moved deftly as she took apart the flesh of the man she held incapacitated. It was so rare that she could do this any more. The police now had a true look out for her, and unless she was careful, she would slip up, and make a mistake. And she would be caught.
The night was dark, and the few street lamps here were blown. It was perfect. So perfect. Her hands, although blue with the cold, mixed with poor circulation, were steady, and the incisions from the knife were perfect.
The man had been no one - just a stranger. He had meant nothing to her. Most of her victims ment nothing. But Katy killed them anyway. Why?
"Because you were an evil child, and you are an evil woman." a soft, almost patronising voice in the back of her head murmured in response to her mental question. "Because this is what you were born to do. Why you were given these powers"
Then, the perfection of the moment was ended. Suddenly, abruptly, and completely. There was a noise. A noise besides the whispering of the voice in the back of her mind. Besides the almost tangible sound of the life leaving the man at her feet. Besides the soft buzzing of the street lamps farther down the street that worked. The sound of footsteps. And they were coming closer.

Re: Where I Should Be
Dreogan stepped slowly up the street, not being obvious, yet not trying to hide himself either. He watched as this girl sliced up a body swiftly, and smirked. "What's a gal like you doing out in the cold? You shouldn't be here.." He slid a knife from it's sheathe, but held it flat against the inside of his wrist.
He stepped forward again, slower this time, watching the girl sharply as his breath sent miniature clouds up into the air. He had to wait for the perfect time, a point in which she was both exposed and defenseless, and he could make a quick kill. "You'll catch a cold out here, love. We should get you somewhere.. Warmer.."

Re: Where I Should Be
Katy shivered again, but crossed her arms across her chest - partially to stop the shirt from billowing around her in the sharp wind. "I'll pass, thank you." She said politely, but in a way that, for most, would end the conversation. She did have intentions of living past the end of the night, and she could see herself in his mind, appearing as she did to him - vulnerable, and weak. She could also see the intentions he had. None spelled anything good for a future for her.
"What future?"" The familiar voice whispered to her. "You gave up your future when you began doing this."

Re: Where I Should Be
"Stalking women in the night? Why don't we just leave her alone?"
Malady was just a few short steps behind, emerging from the shadows, hand on the hilt of his katana. He cared little about the dead man, hidden partially in the dark from his perspective, Hell, he cared little for the woman who had obviously been the cause. All Malady wanted was blood, blood that he spilled. But not just random civilians, no Malady wanted to work for it, fight for it, and Dreogan seemed like the kind of person that could live up to those standards.

Re: Where I Should Be
Dreogan chucked, "Who said anything about stalking? I was simly admiring from afar." Dreogan turned to look at the man behind him, "And who might you be? That's quite a large sword you have there, I hope you don't plan on using it.."

Re: Where I Should Be
"I was hoping I would, on someone more my speed, more so than an opportunist cur who prefers to fight from the shadows, preying on women." Malady's voice was cold and emotionless, his eyes souless, his body still. Malady's body was perfectly still, not even the small subtle rocking or waving akin to a normal person.

Re: Where I Should Be
Dreogan laughed, "I do not prey on women, sir. You, on the other hand, how can I be sure you aren't not preying on her?" Dreogan slid out a knife from his sleeve, "Quite good timing you had, right? Or maybe you're preying on me.."
