"Hmm.. Oh, just stuff. What a beautiful day it is, and all that. My days been pretty slow, I think I've been walking most of it.." Jack scratched his head. His feet did hurt, but he had been thinking so much he wasn't quite sure how much he had been walking. Minutes, hours, days? Who knows?

"You seemed like the type to wander around without a purpose..." Riley said. "It is a nice day- well- almost night now..." she pointed to the sun, low in the sky. It was already going pink on the horizon.

"I've just been wandering around, thinking, enjoying some new found freedom. I haven't been able to walk and talk this freely... Well, I've never been able to do this, to be honest.." Jack wasn't sure why he was saying all this. He felt like he was telling her more than was necessary, but she just seemed like a trusting person, some who would be truly interested in helping him, if he needed it.

"Feels good to be free like this. You don't know how lucky you are, that you've had this all your life.."

"Heh, you don't know lucky..." riley muttered bitterly, her mind flashing back to the bomb and her parents' deaths.
It had gotten dark and the moon was beginning to rise, a pale glow lighting up the streets.
"So, since you rarely wander, where to next, left, right, or straight?"

"Uhm.." Jack peered around, not really knowing where he was going. He had just been wandering, and ended up here. "Straight...?" He wasn't sure where they should go, he didn't want to get lost. He assumed, however, that since he had met this girl here, she knew her way around this strange city.

"Okay," riley said, happily, she knew these streets and "straight" had the best bars in the city. "C'mon!" She picked up the pace a little, letting her hips sway, and sending off just a hint of her special aroma.
