Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

I Wouldn't Have Guessed We'd Go This Far
Trees groaned softly in the strong wind, and branches were stripped of their leaves… Animals were diving for cover, racing through the underbrush and flitting through the sky on deadbeat wings to safety. Another strong gale ripped though the once tranquil place, uprooting a large oak, the thick trunk tipping and falling through the thorns surrounding it’s steadfast network of roots, shaking the ground as it hit…
Fate’s eyes snapped open as her head slammed violently against the train window on her left, and she brought a hand up to rub the now very sore temple area of her face. Fate grimaced, and sat up, yawning and rocking with the train’s momentum as it sped easily forward. Her sister, Destiny had her nose buried in one of the Chronicles Of Narnia books.
She yawned again, and smiled. “Hey Sis,” Fate muttered as Destiny glanced up to see what the loud banging noise had been. Fate looked out the window, and there was only a dark and shadowed landscape quickly passing by. Fate’s mind wandered for a moment, wondering why she even bothered to say anything to Destiny anymore, with the telepathy and all.
Chicago was written in large, swirling letters across the top of a pamphlet next to her, overlying a photo of the city at night made up the cover of the small paper booklet. Fate checked her watch; the train they were on should be arriving in Chicago in a few minutes.
The twin sisters were going to Chicago for a few reasons, but mostly because people in their old town were getting suspicious of the ‘too in sync’ girls. They did keep to themselves, and not talk to people very much there, but in a small religious town like that, it was hard to keep a secret. Destiny and Fate had moved without much difficulty, telling the townspeople in the first place that they were only staying for a short six-month period.
Fate pulled out of her thoughts after a few moments when the train began slowing, the wheels protesting as the brakes kicked in. Their car jolted to a stop besides the platform, and Fate grabbed her small green messenger bag and the suitcase the sisters shared for easy travel.
She smiled nervously at Destiny, and the soles of her dusty, worn out Chuck All-Stars hit the concrete as Fate stepped down from the train, sister in tow. Her dark eyes scanned the large nearly empty area. Only a few stray travelers and hobos were scattered throughout, and the train had been nearly empty as well. It should be, the time was nearly one o’clock in the morning.
Fate walked over to a panel that held a map of the nearby Chicago area, all surrounding the immediate square mile around Chicago Union Station, looking back at her sister. “Where do you want to stay?” She asked, motioning for Destiny to glance at the map.
{{So yeah, other people can join. BUT, Katy has to make the first post, cuz well, she's Destiny and I love her more than you. So suck it up, losers. I will come bite you if you ignore this!}}

((wtf, Slam?))
Destiny shrugged, not looking at the map. She rubbed her eyes in the light. "I don't care." She said, shrugging. "You should know I don't care. Just as long as it has a bed and a bar within a block, I don't care."
She glanced around dully. Her eyes hurt from the small print in her copy of The Silver Chair, and the dim, florescent lights, she couldn't see much.

Re: I Wouldn't Have Guessed We'd Go This Far
Nightstrike had been driving along the area. He yawned. Fuck Chicago he thought. This city had more traffic than New York at times. Eventually, in disgust, he parked in front of a McDonald's and left his car there.
He walked along, with no particular distantation in mind. He was amused he was going faster walking than driving. Eventually, he ended up at a train station, and had worked up an appetite. Before he could get something, he noticed a man running, and a few cops following him. The man had a purse in one hand, obviously having stolen it. Nightstrike grinned, and ran toward the man, and tripped him. The man fell down, and the cops took him away.
"Thanks, kid." One cop said, giving Nightstrike a small tip. Strike grinned again. He yawned, and saw the doors of a train that just arrived, opening.

Kip exited the train behind the two twins, not knowing who they were, but noticing how attractive they were. Kip walked up behind them and approached the map, placing his finger on a hotel he knew of through previous Chicago visits. "That place is good for sleeping, as for a bar, I know a nice place. Why don't I show you the way eh?" he asked as he smiled at them.

(THE HELL? The train goes under tunnels at hundreds of miles per hour. No fucking way you could do that, without burning to a crisp. And plus, won't you bump your head?)

((That works. ^_^ ))
Destiny turned and returned the smile that the man was giving her. "Thanks." She said, tiling her head to one side a little. "So before I go following you off to some bar somewhere, I feel like I should introduce myself. I'm Destiny, and this is my twin sister, Fate." She made a gesture toward her. "And before you ask, yes, those are our real names. Our mother had a very odd sense of humour."

Re: I Wouldn't Have Guessed We'd Go This Far
Strike was merely smoking some weed, and leaning on the wall. He was listening to the whole conversation, since he had nothing better to do. He heard a odd ticking coming from somewhere. He frowned. From serveral movies he had seen, it soudned like a bomb.

Kip smiled and rubbed the back of his neck. "I like it, it adds character, and it acts as a unique conversation." he said his smile still stretched across his face as he extended his hand so that either of the girls could shake it. "Kip Starks" he said introducing himself.

Destiny stepped forward and shook his hand. "Nice to meet you." She said with another smile. "So, about you showing us to that hotel?" She asked. "Trains don't do great things for your neck, and I'd really like to be able to lay down."

{{Friggen... *mumbles to self*}}
Fate shook his hand, "I agree," She said, rubbing her temple again. "The windows aren't good for your face either..." Fate noticed a man leaning against the wall a ways away, and smoking, but also nonchalantly listening to their conversation after helping cops catch a man. She looked at Destiny, a one eyebrow raised.
'Should we do something about him?' Fate thought at her, smirking slightly. 'He's being a creeper.'

Re: I Wouldn't Have Guessed We'd Go This Far
'I don't care.' Destiny thought back, her eyes still on Kip. 'Do whatever you want about him. Or let him be a creeper. Either way, it's up to you.' It was a difficult thing she had mastered - being able to carry on a verbal conversation while speaking mentally to her sister. The hardest part was restraining herself from using automatic body language or movements that were right for her sister's conversation, but not the verbal one.

Re: I Wouldn't Have Guessed We'd Go This Far
All of a sudden, from under one of the wagons, a liquid came streaming over the ground. It could easily been mistaken for leaking fuel, had the liquid not been fluoresant blue. Also, its flow was rather quick. But even more remarkable was the sudden drop in temperature. It was as if Father Winter had just let a fart slip (Now, I'm no expert on Father Winters gastronomical habits, but I can imagine his fart would be cold). If it would've been Father Winter, thank God that he doesn't have smelly farts.
