Charles wears wears armor made from scrap, even out of combat. He has rusted shoulder pads made out of bent stop signs, a chestplate made out of metal from old cars, and an old football helmet for his head. Other that that he wears tattered jeans, and worn out sneakers. He is very skinny with a scraggly unkempt beard, and a thin gaunt face.



Charles has a kind heart, but with a cynical world outlook, he is very survival minded, so it’s a struggle for him to go out of his way to help people in dangerous situations. However he is trying to be a hero in this new world, it may not be easy but he does his best to be a good one.



Growing up in a world that was nuked by Doctor Necrodium is hard enough, but when you’re an orphan with a serious head injury? It’s honestly much worse. When Charles was seven years old, he found himself falling into a pit. It was an unraided laboratory. His parents, having been killed long ago by raiders, forced him into a situation where he could barely scrape by. Anything like this was usually a blessing. Unfortunately, while the supplies could’ve kept him going for a long time; it was the head injury he sustained whilst falling that would’ve doomed him. That is, if it weren’t for a robotic cleaning crew which took him and shoved him into the nearest empty receptacle. The cleaning crew was just doing their job, but it was a miracle when the machine they had shoved him in activated and kept him alive.

It taught him so much in 15 years. Everything that the previous owner of the lab had learned, and even gifted him with the mans knack for learning. Unfortunately, the head injury he had sustained completely destroyed the part of his brain responsible for short term memory. He was released from the tube, and began working on his signature weapon. A large speaker system that emits a sonic wave so massive that it can destroy solid concrete.

He would spend a couple of years raiding, and surviving using this technology he created, forgetting the lab almost entirely.

Eventually, the lab was gone forever from his mind, and he fell through time and space, winding up in New York. But not his own New York; no, not ground zero. This was a rebuilt New York. A new start for him in a new world.

Tabula rasa: Charles can read or watch anything and instantly learn that skill. Like martial arts, engineering, or any instrument. Once he learns it he can do the same things as someone who has mastered it.



His skills only last for one day, and then he has to relearn it to use that skill again.

Water can short out his shield, making it unusable until it dries.

Charles can only learn up to five skills at a time, anymore and he’ll get a massive migraine,and all five of his skills will be lost for two days.



Boom-Box - Charles uses a heavily modified speaker system that is light enough for him to carry around on his back without much trouble. The speaker can do two things. It can emit a solid blast of sonic waves, strong enough to crack concrete and cause temporary deafness, and it can emit a sustained wave of sonic energy to shield Charles from attacks. This shield lasts for two posts, then requires repairing in order to function again.






Modified Headphones: These are made to  seal out all sound to protect him from his shields blasts. He can also play music through these.
