Stone resembles a rough approximation of the human form carved out of an orange stone. Most of his body is comprised of flat rock, with no blemishes or irregularities. His body is simple, with very little actual detail put into the carving besides symmetrical and proportionate limbs. His hands are one of two exceptions to this, being more carefully carved to ensure they are symmetrical and correctly proportioned. The other exception is his face. While lacking any actual facial features besides the eyes, the contours of the face have all been carefully placed to ensure a recognizably human head. The eyes themselves are flat, crystalline ovals, uniform in shape and slightly reflective.


Stone is inexpressive and pensive, prone to long bouts of internal debate and introspection. He is ascetic, eschewing personal belongings. Inhibited his participation may be, he enjoys conversation, and is somewhat starved for social interaction due to his unique position.
He deeply values living things, helping injured and sick animals and cultivating dying plants. He seeks to aid the people he grows attached to, searching for ways to help them with any problems they may have. He enjoys seeing things, people included, grow.
Stone despises anything that would seek to inhibit such growth, violently opposing anyone who would force their will upon others. He does not prolong conflict, seeking to end it as quickly and permanently as possible.


More than 5,000 years ago, there was a man known as Amon. A slave to the tyrant king of a long dead nation, Amon rebelled against his master, rallying other slaves to his cause of freedom. Amon waged a bloody war against the tyrant. The king was driven back further and further, until Amon’s army was poised for victory, marching through the capital unopposed. The king, driven to cower inside of his palace, called upon vile and evil sorceries, sacrificing his life to seal away Amon into a perfect sphere of crystal as a final revenge.
After their victory, Amon’s people placed crystal ball in the throne room in remembrance of their fallen leader. It remained there for hundreds of years, until its origins and meaning were long forgotten. But Amon lived on, trapped inside the crystal when the empire fell under the attack of a much greater foe.
Decades later, a young warlock, banished from his homeland, wandered the ruins of the once great empire. He was drawn to the crystal, his magic pulling him towards the ancient soul trapped inside. He claimed it as his own, crafting an encasement of stone around it and binding Amon once again as a slave. Amon’s new master, intent on carving out his own empire from the scattered ruins of the old, used him as a weapon of war. Amon fought against his orders, resisting the warlock until the day his bindings broke. On that day, he slew the warlock and his armies, ending the conflict his master had inflicted.
Since that day, Amon abandoned his old name. He dubbed himself Stone, embracing his new nature and fading from the world, becoming naught but a legend wandering the untamed wilderness of the world.

Power 1: Size Manipulation
Stone can increase in size until he is approximately 250 feet tall. This also modifies his weight comparatively.

Power 2: Elemental Movement
Stone can pass through stone.

Power 3: Elemental Healing
While in contact with any rock, Stone can cause it to merge with him, allowing him to recover from most injuries. However, this takes time and cannot be done during combat.

Power 4: Super Strength
Stone can lift up to twice his own weight. This scales with his size.

Power 5: Body of Stone
Stone is made of stone and thus cannot be affected by things that rely on biological physiology.


Weakness 1: Being of Stone
While not in contact with stone, he cannot use powers 1, 2 and 3.

Weakness 2: Ancient Heart
At the center of Stones being, there is a perfect sphere of crystal. If it is broken, Stone dies.

Weakness 3: No Mouth
Stone cannot speak.

Weakness 4: Stonebound
If Stone is prevented from coming into contact with stone for a prolonged amount of time, he will gradually begin to lose mobility until he cannot move at all. This effect is reversed if he comes into contact with stone.

Weakness 5: Vulnerable Soul
Stone is especially vulnerable to possession and mind control.


Stone’s eyes will change color with his emotions; yellow when happy, blue when sad, red when angry, et cetera.
Stone will take on the physical appearance of any material he uses his powers to absorb or pass through, though he will eventually fade back to his natural orangish appearance.
