A.I. Know You (Andi)

"It's a robot and it is supposed to be dangerous." Wearing a black, pencil skirt and a red blouse, Tsukimi walked in front of a porjector screen, pointing to a blank slide. "As you can see from this slide, we don't know much about it."

The projector rested on a stack of sweaters, projecting past a column of mannequins in the dress shoppe Danny technically owned. "What does it do?" Danny put her boots up on a table, relaxing in her chair. She wore a black skirt with a turquoise shirt and her hair down about her shoulders.

"I don't know, but the government doesn't like it, because it is dangerous." Tsukimi then clicked over to a map of the North America. "It was last reported somewhere around here."

"So, we don't what it does and it is somewhere on a landmass that makes up about one tenth on Earth?" Erica, wearing a blue sweater with white pants, sat with her arms crossed. A demonic looking sword she just recently found in Lost-and-Found by her side.

"Yes. That is why this is a fact finding mission." Tsukimi hit the next slide. It said 'End of Presentation'. "Are there any questions?"

"Several, but I don't think you're going to have answers." Danny looked over to the counter as Nancy checked out a customer. "Did we not close shoppe for this?"

"Close on our busy hour?" Shockwaves contoured the lines in Erica's forehead. "For that?"

"It could have been important information." Danny watched as a woman grabbed a sweater in front of the projector screen. "It wasn't, but it could have been."

"Anyways. We will break into two teams." Tsukimi unplugged the projector, killing the light. "Team one will be me and Danny who will look for clues. Team 'A' will stay here and run the shoppe. Questions?"

Danny began to count from her middle finger to her pinky. "It should be called, 'The A-Team', 1 and A don't make sense when used together, but other than that-"

Erica pulled her hair back into a ponytail. "I'm on team 1, which will be henceforth known as 'The A-Team'. The other team will be called, the B-Team. Right Danny?"

"I mean, sure. Why not. Anyone else want to be on the team?" Danny stood up and turned on the lights.

"No, the shoppe can't afford to lose any other workers. It will be demonic rush hour pretty soon."

"The fact you know when demonic rush hour is and plan accordingly by it makes me feel like this place needs some adjustments." Danny walked back to the center of the shoppe to be joined by Tsukimi and Erica. "So where do we start?"

A humanoid figure would walk past the shop's entrance, fully clothed in a cloak. They seem extraordinarily tall, a 7' being. Trailing this being are two other individuals, cloaked as well. They're both relatively short at a meager 5'. The individuals inside the shop would notice symbols on each of their cloaks. Something that is easily linked back to Andi.

The beings would murmur to each other as they pass by the shop. They'd be whispering to each other. They seem to be buzzing almost. Their steps clang and clip, metal on concrete. This must be just dumb luck.

"Wazpazsabapazooszaspa."

"Kazbatasbaposzasoopasza."

They'd be heading downtown toward the center of the city.

"Weirdness." Tsukimi pointed to the window. "We follow the weird."

"We should phrase that a little differently, but you aren't wrong." The two small cloaked figures drew just as much of Danny's attention as the large man. "We follow them, but don't look suspicious. I'll take the front. Erica go out the back and follow through the alleys."

"It smells and I don't want to." Erica grabbed her demon blade and walked to the front door.

"I'll take the back. Turn on your GPS locators so I know if they are turning." It took less than three seconds for Tsukimi to take her phone and get to the back room, leaving Danny and Erica alone on the front team.

Danny started for the front door, hoping to keep those hooded figures in her sight. "Let's go. And, don't be difficult."

"Don't relegate me to the back." Erica shot in front of Danny, reaching the front door first.

"You know you work for me, right?" The door stayed open for Danny to slip out safely.

"I work for Mitsy." In four words Erica managed to both say something right and wrong. "And those guys are heading towards market central. We should probably stop them."

Andi, Andi, and Andi would walk toward downtown in formation. They don't seem to take in any scenery, just walking. And walking. After a while it gets boring until they suddenly fly into the air. Hundreds of feet in the air, the three would hover before the giant displays downtown. The 3 would absorb into one, cloak flapping in the sky. They'd appear on all of the displays in the city. They'd start presenting their message.

"We are Andi. You may know us as a being of evil. Escaped from the American Government to wreak havoc. No. The American Government is hiding something from you. They have been experimenting with magic and technology in order to use the appliances and devices in your homes to control you. Make you see illusions. We were their first project. Next could be your phone. Tablet. Television. Open your eyes. Or we will have to open them for you."

Suddenly, a large beast would burst from a building's display, firing a hot beam of energy from its mouth. Andi would turn around to fire beams back at it from his finger tips, appearing to hold it at bay to the unattentive. To those paying attention (Danny and Erica) they'd see the beams are nearly identical. Both heat based, same color, everything.

"And, I technically own the place where Mitsy makes dresses." Danny moved in front of Erica, keeping her eyes on a cell phone to try and see where Tsukimi was.

"Mitsy can go anywhere and make anything. She just uses a shoppe you helped buy with money from your trust fund." The last line meant to sting more than was necessary. "And, if she goes somewhere else, I go with her. I work for Mitsy."

"I gave her the money, because we're friends and I believe in her-"

"Shhh!" Erica stopped, grabbing her blade, and looked to the prompters about the area.

"Looks like trouble found us." Danny made her own blades. "I do not want to have to fight my tablet. We already have differences of opinions with what 'fully charged' means."

A beast burst forth from the display, brandishing poor people skills. Lasers burst forth from the beasts mouth, only to be met with lasers of an equal look. "They must have the same maker. Maybe it was Bliss?"

"I don't think we can blame this one on Bliss." Danny rushed forward to begin looking for a weakness to jab one of her blades, but the beam made getting closer too precarious. Instead, she strafed, formed a massive pike under the beast, and lunged itself forward into the gut of the beast. If she could manage to get an impalement, her next plan would form a line of ballistas trained on the beast, and then let out a barrage of armaments against the beast. She would stay focused on each bolt, making sure to dispense them if they missed and headed towards the general population.

The beast's belly would be torn open and it would begin writhing in the display, high above the city. It would fall from the display and begin flipping, the beam coming close to Andi who was directly before it. As it falls forward, the beam starts cutting through the building behind Andi and vehicles down below. As it turns 180°, it would start cutting the building it had burst from in half until it finally crashes to the ground.

Andi would fly forward into the building from where the beast had come.

"Shag boosc, oosc noosc. I call upon you o' powerful Boosc. Place your power within this vessel to save those within and far below."

The beast would seemingly burst into dust which seemingly disappear. Andi aims his fingers at the building whose halves have started breaking apart. He starts moving his hands together, the building appearing to be pushed back together as he does so. He fires more beams, seemingly sealing the building back together for the moment.

Andi would fly around the building, some sort of steel cable wrapping about it as he flies around, aiding the beam he had used to fuse it together. "You see, people of America? They're sending beasts after me! And are willing to destroy infrastructure and kill civilians in order to do so!"

Andi would float down to the ground before civilians that would start clapping slowly. With his entire body having nanocameras and sensors all about it, he would detect the individuals that interfered.

"Settle down, people of New York. Not only did they send a beast after your savior. They sent Metahuman assassin's!" He'd point a long, mechanical finger in Danny's direction as she was the one who had created the bolt and had a blade in hand.

A beam of light ripped the ground asunder as it tore between Danny and Erica. Debris and chunks of rock created a flak field to separate the two from their impromptu formation. Whenever beasts of mechanical qualities attacked cities, the risk of firing off target lasers always accompanied them when they wrecked havoc, but this one struck a little harder.

Windows breaking helped stimulate the economy- as long as you kept your feet off the glass. The broken glasses did not scare Danny. The cracking of support beams drew her attention. Luckily, Danny had some power in construction. As the beams began to crack, Danny would harness them with turquoise constructs, keeping the building stable.

While the constructs kept the building safe, but it would only last so long. Danny would need to start replacing those constructs once they gave way. But, the way never gave.

"That's thousands of pounds of pressure. How is it not cracking?" As far as disappointments go, this one definitely fell on the better side, but it still left Danny in a state of bafflement. No time for bewilderment though; a monster was still on the loose. "Where'd it go?"

The gathered crowd began to let a wave of relief wash over them. "Well, that could have been worse."

The accusation rose from Andi towards Danny.

"It got worse." Erica gazed over to Danny.


Tsukimi wandered through the alley, keeping her eyes open and focused on anything out of the ordinary. Then, things got out of ordinary. Her senses first went to trying to find some shelter as the building began to tremble. The first door she tried failed to budge. The dumpster lid opened briefly, but failed to open. She turned back.

Nothing came.

Nothing, but a pink ray of light. "That looks like the beam that cut the building. Is it putting it back together? That doesn't make sense."

The mob of people would turn to look at Danny and start murmuring. A ripple travels through the crowd as they begin talking to spouses, children, parents, anyone and everyone there during the attack. How could the government be so cowardly as to attack their city and also send an assassin to kill the person who stopped a building from collapsing?

"Your government would go so low as to try and attack me as I save you all. They're willing to risk your lives to prevent the world form learning the truth."

Andi would rise up into the air, turning to Danny. He'd once more raise his finger as... Hundreds of thousands of small insects would begin buzzing around her forearms, latching on painfully. It'd be difficult to take out the hive with constructs due to them being individual mites. Each individual mite seems to add weight as they latch on. For some reason only the forearms.

"I summon the powerful hive of the Aether. Don't worry, New Yorkers. I am your protector. Andi will make everything alright. For Andi is superior."

The mob of angry people would start moving forward, Andi hovering above. Some st the front of the group would start grabbing rubble as they move forward. They have a look in their eyes. They're out for blood.

"Hey, lady, what's your problem? Have you ever thought about the people? The government must be messing with your head." Are all thing said by individuals in the mob, some coming up with theories on what the government's plan was and what her part in that was as well.

Andi, basically having eyes all over his body, would also see Erica, talking to Danny. Perhaps an accomplice. This information could be useful.

From a sewer drain, more of the hive would start zipping out, combining into another Andi, directly behind Danny and Erica, hovering. "Boo! I, Andi have used the spell, duplicate. I can be in multiple places at once. There is no escape for you, SPY." Spitting the last word with disgust.

The buildings are still being held together by the cables and seal used by the 'magic' Android. News vans would arrive on scene quickly due to all the attacks that happen in New York. Finally there was one that didn't wipe out the city. They'd begin covering the scene.

"New York! Witness me detain this wretched Government scumbag and turn her and her friend over to the people. The people will decide what to do to her. Not the government, as they'd just let her go. It's the people's country. Not theirs. We must regain control. Metahuman attacks everyday. The government itself causing more damage than they fix with their meta programs. It must CEASE."

"They're succumbing to mob mentality." Erica grasped her sword and moved closer to Danny. "Do you think he can possess minds or some other power over the mind?"

"No, this is America." Danny sighed and put up a turquoise wall between her and the person referring to her Instagram account as fake news. "This is just how it is."

Erica scuttled behind the barrier to help drown out the noise. "The robot or the people?"

"Yes." With a disappointment in her stomach, Danny turned back to the robot as he took flight. "I would ask if we can talk about this but- what is this?!"

Small insects latched on to Danny and Erica's arms, pulling them down to the ground. It gave Erica an idea. "I have a plan!" She used her last minutes of freedom to grab a bottle of perfume. "This will kill them- and make us smell great!" Enough puffs came out of the bottle to surround Erica's arms. Once Erica killed the mites around her arms, she would spray Danny's arms.

"This is strong." Danny said, trying not to breathe.

"I think a demon made it. It has brimstone in it." Erica waved her arms around as Andi told them their fate would be in the hands of the crowd. "Like a reality show?"


Tsukimi continued to dig around the crime scene. A few turquoise constructs were holding some braces, but so was a few noticeable wires. The big thing came to Tsukimi's head. "There's no break. The building is in one piece."

As the insects are sprayed, several go down for some reason. They should be more resilient to simple perfume... The swarm would then form into a large fist that would rocket toward Erica's head. The Andi behind Danny and Erica would go for Danny's wrists, trying to wrench them behind her back with superhuman speed and strength.

"They have not denied the accusations! Look at them!"

The mob starts chanting different chants out of order and overlapping. With the rubble from buildings in their hands, they'd start raising fists and yelling at the two 'government agents'.

"We don't need you! Go home! Get moving or we'll have to boot you! Time to rise up like back in the day! Give the government a piece of our mind! We're gonna make an example out of you!"

Andi's arms would fold, as he raises his chin, looking down upon Danny and Erica. He'd have a snootiness to him. As if he were looking at them as though they were inferior beings.

Pulling a page from the Danny playbook, a fist would form out of seemingly think air to launch a strike. Erica took the blunt to her head, knocking her cold to the ground. The bots would disperse in fear of the perfume sprayed through the area.

Danny pulled her attention over to her downed partner. "Hey!" Whatever hit Erica must have formed inside of the turquoise wall, which meant the wall only kept out people who poised no real threat- at least if Andi no longer poised a threat. "We're not government agents! I'm Danny Tamamoa, local business owner and international superheroine! We don't have to prove ourselves innocent; you have to prove us guilty! That's how the legal system works!" Now, Danny needed to see if explaining the legal system helped or hurt her government accusation.

A forceful creature wound up behind Danny, pinning her arms, and most importantly, keeping her hand from her bracelet. "Brutality much!"



Tsukimi made her way back around to the front of the building. The hooded robots knocked out Erica and pinioned Danny. A mob gathered around. Tsukimi grabbed her cell phone and flipped through the pictures. "I can prove they are innocent."

Stepping out from the alley. "They are guilty!" Tsukimi yelled, holding up her phone. "Guilty! I have proof they are government agents who hate all of you right here!"

There would be murmurs about the logic of her statement. However, a small man would pipe up. [color=#87CEEB]["Legal? That's exactly what a government agent would say. You must have extensive knowledge of the law which means you're tied to the judicial system! You're just a narc!"/color]

Andi kicks Danny in the backs of her knees to a kneeling position. His hands would stretch down longer to keep her kneeling while also still holding her still. However, a woman comes out from an alley way, shouting about evidence against the two.

"Well, that's convenient. Hey, girl, if you want evidence, look at the other lady over there! She has evidence that you're a government agent! You're done for!"

The mob would shift over to Tsukimi and try to start tossing her up and crowd surfing her for some reason. Damned Americans. Weirdos, all of them. While they shift over, the flying Andi would float down to the downed Erica and place heavy cuffs on her forearms. The Andi holding Danny would put heavy cuffs on her arms as well.

A glimpse of light came back to Erica's eyes. She tried to bring her hands up to rub her eyes, but she could not break them loose from the cuffs around her wrists. "Did democracy work?"

"They said I was a narc for knowing the basic tenant of western justice systems. They might burn us at the stake." Danny looked over to see the rather tall Tsukimi being lifted over the crowd. "And our only hope is Tsukimi trying to pull a trick."

Tsukimi finally made her way to the front of the crowd. "I took pictures of the building in question. From what we can see, there are turquoise constructs propping up the breaks in the building. So, yes, Danny is an agent of the government. But, she is an agent of Public Works coming to make sure that everyone is safe in the wake of a building almost collapsing after an attack."

Danny grimaced.

"Is that a good argument?" Erica leaned over to Danny.

"Yes." The grimace did not let up. "Which is why I don't think it will work."

"Boo, you stink! Logic is for narcs!"

The mob wouldn't attack as they don't wanna get arrested by the EVIL government. However, they'd advance forward, pushing Tsukimi back toward her two allies. The Andi's would rise up above as the crowd surrounds the three, chanting.

"Let's go back to our roots and burn these government witches at our own stake! Show the government what we think!"

Theyd start tossing cigarette butts and juuls into the middle toward the three.

Tsukimi put her hands in the air as she was pushed towards Danny and Erica. "Ready Mongoose?"

Danny would spin around to put her cuffs in full view of Tsukimi. "Do it, Suzy!"

Erica would kick the demon sword over to Tsukimi, letting her kick the sword up and slash at the cuffs. It did not break the cuffs. "I thought that would work."

"Right?" Danny looked back to see the cuffs still in place. "It normally does."

"Can I change teams?" Erica asked the crowd.

"I'll try stabbing instead of slashing. Locking mechanism-" Tsukimi took the sword down at a pivot point. "Should be there."

The cuffs around Danny's wrists came undone. "We won't talk about the first try." A turquoise spike would stab forward to try hit the Andi bot behind them. Danny would look and spot a sewer access point. "There we go." A turquoise spike would pop the top of the access, letting Danny, Tsukimi, and the still cuffed Erice make a break for it.
