Nothing to Fear

"She did not say she liked that one!" Bliss shot forward, unable to escape her chair. "She said some other stuff that ultimately led to saying you would pick me because she likes me-"

"Is this really important right now?" The chair with Danny slid across the room. None of the bindings came undone, but the immediate threat passed by.

"Stop!" Ashley tried to grab Bliss telekinetically, pulling her away from danger.

Before danger could land on Bliss, a new challenger entered. A challenger capable of giving enough of a distraction for Ashley to work on getting Danny untied from her chair.

Nightlight would suddenly toss out a black hole before Mad Dash's feet while watching the girls get untied out of the corner of his eye.

"What's this supposed to do?"

Mad Dash would attempt to blast toward Nightlight at high speeds but the black hole would yank him backwards and onto his back. He'd clutch the back of his head as he looks up to see Nightlight standing over him.

"Had enough, villain?"

"Not a chance, fuckwit!"

Mad Dash would begin getting up, but it'd be as if thousands of pounds were being placed on top of him as he finds himself unable to rise. He'd writhe on the ground trying his hardest to no avail. Nightlight would deliver a pretty hefty punch to his head with as much strength as possible, knocking him out for the moment.

"Girls, he'll be waking up soon, most speedsters do after a little. We should probably book it. Those were like almost all my tricks."

Danny slipped her hands loose with some help from Ashley. She kicked the chair back and summoned a turquoise pair of blot cutters to snap Bliss loose. "I've got some tricks." A snap of Danny's fingers accompanied several turquoise bindings that wrapped Mad Dash up. The snap actually did nothing. That's not how Danny's powers work.

"Could you have done that ten minutes ago?" Bliss got out of the chair, now free. Ice began to form over Mad Dash's body, freezing him in an ice cube with the bindings inside.

"I couldn't get my hand around because it was tied up!" An honest statement against a petty attack. Danny looked over to Nightlight. "Thanks for the help, but I think we've got it now. He's not going anywhere."

"Well, I should be going. Have some important biz to do."

Nightlight would throw down a white hole and propel himself out the way he came. Mad Dash on the other hand is wrapped up and he'd wriggle about.

"You scum nuts! I'll tear out your throats!"

"Thanks." Ashley went to shake Nightlight's hand. "You really helped us out."

"Great timing." Danny conjured up a turquoise binding to cover Mad Dash's mouth to keep any more unnecessary remarks from shooting out of it. "We'll probably meet up again in the future."

"I'm freezing his head." Bliss kept her gaze trained upon Mad Dash.

"No." A sigh ran from Ashley. "That's murder, Bliss."

"I don't care." A shrug from Bliss bounced from her shoulders. "You think I care?"

"I think I care." The angle of Ashley's brow denied Bliss her ability to give her attempt a try.

"Fine." Bliss popped her knuckles. "I won't freeze his head."

"We have to take him to prison." Danny grew a confused look. "And then explain how we weren't breaking and-"

"Oh, yeah, I need to go grab that crate. Thanks for reminding me, Danny." Bliss walked off to find a crate of ill-gotten gains.

"Oh, so we're still stealing. Great." Wheels would conjure under Mad Dash to give Danny an easier time pushing him. "Come on Mr Speed, we're going to prison."

"Foolish meatbags. No prison can hold me. I am Mad Dash! Not even your bindings can truly hold me!"

Mad Dash would wriggle some more, hissing at the group. He'd begin vibrating at high speeds and phase out of the wrappings. As soon as he were to be free of them, he'd be gone. No trace. But as Bliss stands before where the crates should be, it's gone.

Mad Dash screams into the night. "Good riddance, thieves!"
