Opposites Attract (Fauna/Jeannie Rose)

Waking from another empty dream, she sat up in her bed and shifted the kitten covered sheets before slipping her feet into some fluffy kitten slippers. After taking her of her personal hygiene in her on-suite bathroom, she went into her living room and looked over the river from her top floor apartment in the exclusive Spratt's Complex, located in Poplar, London. The view was lovely, the sun shining and there was various large bushes and trees running alongside the riverbank. To most, it would be beautiful and something that those in the creative sector would pay a lot of money, just for the view alone.

But she was not like those people; due to her...condition, it made it very hard to truly feel anything besides the emptiness inside her heart besides the constant ache of despair and melancholy she felt on a daily basis. She decided to get the main thing out of the way and went down to her open plan kitchen and living room combo. It was somewhat split off from each other by various bookshelves, shaping up the living room somewhat with the top having a long, red silk canopy with a black sun pattern in the center as well as around the rim. Going into her kitchen area, which was a modern set up in red with silver handles and black marble surfaces.

She went to her large red double door fridge freezer and opened it up, checking what she had in. She picked out some fresh strawberries that were in their plastic basket and placed them on the black marble counter next to her. She then took out a pot of porridge oats and took a bowl from another cupboard and put a decent amount of porridge oats into it before putting the pot away.

She took out some milk and put it into a pan, heating it up and took a vanilla pod, using a nice, sharp kitchen knife and expertly extracted the inside of the vanilla pod and put the inside of it into the boiling milk, tossing the skin of the pod into the bin. She then took the milk and slowly poured it over the porridge oats, stirring it gently till it was all absorbed into it and the oats themselves were nice and creamy. She then took the same knife and took a few strawberries and chopped them up into small slices that she then scattered over the porridge.

Taking the bowl of strawberry porridge, she went into her living room and sat on her large, red curved sofa and put on the TV, switching quickly to watch bargain hunt while she ate her breakfast, her kitten slippered feet gently rising up and down gently.

silly goblins come back here with my gold! after swinging her arms around in like she had a sword jeannie wakes up surprised looking around huh to much skyrim before bed again.

jeannie climbs over the mountain of stuffed animals to get out of bed. looking around her comically pink room that was like a little girl's dream princess bed room. she found her bunny slippers that matched the bunny eared kiddy pajamas she was wearing.

she stretches like a kitty katyay the start of another fun day! she hops on a giant toy unicorn. she pushes a button and it comes to life. she rides it like a pony though the hallways of her castle home.

huh good thing she got daddy to make her a unicorn for christmas comes in handy with all the long hallways to get every where, it wasn't a real unicorn but she could ride the robotic toy like one of the real ponies,but unlike her real ones it was ok with mommy for this to be in side.

she eventually reaches where she wanted to get the dining room. she's meet by a teddy bear butler another fun toy daddy made. it pulls out a chair for her at the table and turns cartoons on the big tv for her.

then a bear dressed as a Chef brings her a large plate of pancakes. thanks guys she hugs the two bears that smile then waddle off. she watches cartoons and eats her breakfast

She finished her breakfast and placed the empty bowl and spoon she used to eat by the sink and went back to her room. Heading to her wardrobe, she went through her clothes to find a good outfit to wear for the day. Fortunately, it was the weekend so she didn't have work to do, so she was able to wear something more casual.

Eventually, she decides to take her usual short sleeved red top with a pludge V-neck that exposed much of the top of her 38D cup breasts, a matching skirt that only covered her thighs and, since she was in the mood to; taking and putting on fishnet stockings with a tight black rim at the top that hugged the top of her thighs to keep the stockings on and in place.

Lastly, she took her favorite pair of red and black high heels and sliding them onto her feet. Although favorite felt so empty to her, she just saw it as the ones she wore most often then the truly positive emotion that came from something you enjoy wearing. Once she was fully dressed, she decided to take a walk around her part of london and also look for some ideas for what to make for tea.

She took her purse and slid it into a interior pocket in her top, which had the unlikely effect of it being slid into her boobs. Although she didn't really care. She then took her house key, popping that into the other interior pocket in her top before heading out and wandering around her part of London.

after breakfast jeannie gets dressed deciding on a doctor who t shirt and blue jeans. she says good morning to her parents finding them in daddys lab where mommy was helping him clean up a odd goo on the floor that had to have come from one of daddy's wacky experiments.

then she after that she decides to head off into town to see what kinda of fun she can find.

She wondered around, not sure exactly what she was really looking for in terms of what to do. She did some window shopping in various clothes shops until she came across a store that specialized in retro outfits. Heading inside, she wondered around the store until she found some nice halter top dresses and they designed to be period matching inside of being modern versions. If she was able to feel it, she would of felt pretty happy that it wasn't just another modern knock off instead of the real thing.

She eventually choose a red halter top with a black silk belt around it, tied into a bow, the skirt that would reach down her knees and had black polka dots all over it. She also managed to find some black heels with red polka dots and a red underside that would make a nice contrast to the dress and had them in her size too. She placed them gently into a shopping basket and headed to the tills.The guy at the till gave the typical smile and greet that most sales assistants do.

"Can I get these please?" She said softly, placing the basket on the counter to allow the guy to scan the barcodes on them so he could get the total price.

"That will be sixty-four pounds fifty; are you paying by cash or card, miss?" He asked and she took out her purse from, at least from the sales assistant's point of view, between her boobs, which he felt his face redden a little. Although her clouded red eyes had no response nor care about it and simply produced her normal debit card; something she preferred over credit cards since she saw no point in getting massive amounts of credit card debt and simply wanted to spend what was in her bank account. She did have the other card that connected to her secret offshore bank account with, well, let's say just say it was a lot of money. However, she preferred not to use it a lot unless she was making big purchases.

"Card" She responded in a soft, flat tone as she put her card into the card reader and went through the motions of paying for them before taking her card out, putting it back into her purse and popping it into the inside pocket, once again making it looking like she was tucking it between her boobs or almost groping herself. The sales assistant was getting a bit more redder in the face, even though she was acting like this was completely normal. He packed the dress and her heels into a bag and handed it to her.

"Thank you for shopping with us, have a good day, miss" He said and she nodded to him.

"Thank you" She said with the same detached tone before she slid the handles of the plastic bag onto her right arm and left the shop. She decided to go to a fancy cafe across the street from her and, making sure nothing was coming, crossed the street to the other side. The cafe was made to appear like one of those fancy french cafes. She headed inside and went to the counter where waiters and waitresses in well dressed uniforms prepared to serve customers. One of the waitresses came over to her.

"Welcome Madam; what can we get for you today?" She asked in a friendly, yet professional manner. Fauna looked at her with the same distant eyes.

"A peach iced tea and a small Victoria sponge cake please" She said softly and the waitress nodded, noting down the order. She then repeated her song and dance of taking out her purse from her boobs, paying with her own card and then putting it back before taking a outside table, placing her shopping onto the chair beside her and looked out onto the street, waiting for her drink and cake to arrive.

huh something smells yummy! jeannie notices one of her favorite smells some kind of sweets! using her puppy sense of smell she easily found the cafe. huh getting a little snack before shopping would be a good idea it is bad to go shopping on a empty tummy

huh what to get? jeannie looked at the menu confused she always had a hard time making up her mind on things. while thinking about it she noticed a really pretty lady at the table next to her.

maybe she can helphey miss which of this do you think is really good. i having a hard time picking, i could try them all but then i'd like be here all day. jeannie notice the dress in the bag next to her. you like poky dot to? there like so fun and cute. huh is there like a sale today that be nice. where to go i wonder so many little shops here gets so confusing to find the one you want some times.

Well, this was...unexpected. She was having her drink and her cake brought to her by the waitress when all of a sudden the strangest girl she had ever seen just seemed to come out of nowhere. She was a strange girl to say the least; long blonde hair with pink highlights; a fairly...well endowed figure to say the least, covered only by some jeans and a doctor who T-shirt. Her eyes for one she noticed had sharp pupils like a cat's and when she opened her mouth, speaking in, at least for the current time, a typical blonde voice, that she had what appeared to be canine-like teeth with enlarged incisors. She was in part only half listening to what the girl said, but got the general idea from what she said. She sighed.

"I cannot say since I have only just come here myself; but I am having the Victoria sponge cake first if that is where you wish to start. Secondarily, Yes, I do enjoy a more retro style of clothing and lastly, I am not a movie star; I am a ballet teacher at a private all-girls' school. But I appreciate your compliment. If I may, who are you?" She said, trying to answer the main points that the girl brought up in her same baseline tone she had and if the girl was paying attention, she would see a cloudy and distant look in her eyes that reflected no emotion onto them as she felt no joy or anything towards her and was simply just another person to her.

spongy cake yeah that sounds yummy.retro styles are quite fun. she decides to order that and some hot chocolate while the waitress was there a ballet teacher neat, those are fun with swans and nutcrackers and stuff. aww to bad i grauatded school already that be a fun class to take, huh of is it a collage school cause you can go back to them i thinks. Jeannie smiles happily as meeting a new friend seemed to be going well. she thinks this lady had a odd doll like face that was hard to read, but the words she said was nice. huh maybe she was sleepy or something.

It seemed that she was right about the girl; a typical dumb blonde as far as she could tell. She introduced herself as Jeannie. Fauna had the distinct feeling that she wasn't going to go away anytime soon, so she gestured to the seat across from her.

"It is...nice to make your acquaintance. Since we are in the topics of names; my name is Fauna Salan" She explained simply and to the point. If she could feel it, she would of found this amusing that they seemed to be completely polar opposites to each with her being a dumb, outgoing blonde who, at least at the way she presented herself as; couldn't keep a single thought in her head if she tried. She looked to Jeannie again.

"So tell me, where did you come from?"

oh that's a interesting name,where i come from?well i came here from my house,it's a castle over that way

she points in the direction of her house pretty big so you can't miss it. where do you come from then?

This was a very strange girl; it was somewhat hard to keep up with what Jeannie was saying since it seemed to be a lot at one thing; a stream of rapid questions that were hard to answer without her instantly going onto the next.

"Well, my parents gave it me and Fauna is another way of referring to animals as a whole, like how plants can be described in the universal designation of flora, Fauna is the same, but to animals; plus I guess they thought the name was pretty suitable for a girl. She said, pausing when she explained that she lived in a castle over in the direction she pointed to. The more she listened, the more absurd Jeannie seemed to become. She decides to do the same, but points behind her.

"I live in the Spratt's Complex down there" She explained simply before looking at her eyes and teeth again.

"Tell me; why is your eyes and teeth like that?" She said plainly. No malice in her tone or anything in it; some people would think that sort of question would be rude and if she was feeling it, she would of held her tongue, but decided against it to find out why she appeared as she did.

well it's a very nice name.
oh yeah that place looks nice on the outside when i've gone past it. is the inside nice?

jeannie giggled when she asked about her appearance she was kinda surprised as normally it was kids that asked as the grown ups must have thought was impolite to point out stuff like that.

she didn't mind when people asked as she liked her unique appearance. oh well you know them x men comics i'm a mutant like them. well daddy says a chimera to be precise it's kinda funny your name deals with animals and that's what my mutation is, see my daddy is a scientist and i was helping clean in his lab one day when there was a explosion i got knocked into some test tubes with animal blood that mixed with my human blood now i have all kinds of animal abilities and adopted some features of animals, i'm just look i didn't sprut a tail or turn blue and furry or something to weird

"Yes, it is very nice and spacious and it's has all the modern comforts of this day and age" She explains softly before listening to Jeannie explain that she was a mutant and that she got unique animal-based abilities after a accident in her father's lab involving getting animal blood of various creatures into her body.

"So basically your a meta-human? Right; don't find many of you who openly admit to it, but I guess I was mistaken. So, what do you do with these powers besides just running around to find cakes and sweets?" She says, taking a pudding fork and took a bit of her cake and ate it while the waitress came back, bringing Jeannie's cake as she ordered it.

sounds nice, yeah well i don't see why mentioning it's a big deal. people would notice anyway, besides i like my super powers so why not talk about them. jeannie gets excited when she see the cake. yummy she eats some. well i never real had a job like i've do modeling and been a clown in some circus pretty much odd jobs that seem fun. sense my family has a bunch of money i don't need a real job..

once i got super power i play superhero and go on adventure! she happily munches on the cake this was a good pick so yummy!

"I never said it was bad; I simply said that most meta-humans don't openly talk about their powers in public. Maybe as a hero, but usually not in their secret identity" She said simply to her while she ate that normally, meta-humans don't go around taking about their...unique traits so openly, although considering the way she was acting, this wasn't surprising that her tongue was so loose.

"So your a hero? I've never heard of you; do you have a hero name that I would know?" She asked in her flat tone of voice, her distant, cloudy eyes looking straight at this strange blonde who was a apparent heroine.
