Although he can look like a collection of paper, he for the most part looks human normally. Often seen wearing a simple light grey trench coat of even white lab coat when, "on duty" as well as wearing some hockey padding on his joints and an old white hockey mask for some mild protection and obscurity.



Nicholas is a fairly reclusive individual, often wanting to stay out other people problems and for them to do the same. However, this is for more serious situations. Other than that he’s a pretty stand up guy, and has a pretty casual appreciation of sports especially hockey. He believes it’s up to people like him to do societies dirty work against those who’ve wronged it. Building up a more prosperous future with a foundation of necessary, but less then ethical actions.



Growing up in the mid west of the United States. Nicholas as a pretty average guy most of his life. Got through school with good grades and graduated. After which he headed into law school. Despite fears that he as moving to a dead end he got a job as a young, bright eyed public defender. Even though the work was hard he still felt good in what he did. Helping those who couldn't pay the law firms for their legal troubles. But that would soon change on one case earlier into his career. He had to defend a somewhat infamous gang member. The unfortunate things was it that the authorities and the court were trying every underhanded tactic to get him convicted. It was just a no win situation for Nicholas. But when the rest of the gang found out that he couldn't really save their guy, they went after him. One night working late on a different case a sizeable group from the gang raided the office, since it as real late Nicholas as the only person really there, and before he could get any help they were on him. That's when his powers manifested, not after getting a good beating though. But he was in a perfect environment to quickly turn the tides of the fight, with an unlikely weapon being paper. In the aftermath the whole office was trashed as documents and papers littered the entire place. After that he was deemed missing, but he really just headed upstate to Chicago where he hoped he could use his powers for good, and kick start his time fighting the good fight. Later traveling to other cities and even nations as he saw fit, but keeps coming back to Chicago.

To this day he still doesn't know how or why he developed powers, especially why one as odd as paper manipulation. At first part of him just thought it was a very weak form of telekinesis. However, when he began to absorb paper into himself then he had his doubts on that theory. But he's not complaining.

Power One: Paper Manipulation, Nicholas is able to control paper and paper like materials with an unseen force. Typically by being able to move it through the air at will, he can also give paper under his control as abnormal about of durability. Also with enough material (paper) he can construct it into forms of his choosing, like very tough and quick paper mache. The paper's durability is similar to that of paper, or very thin sheets of aluminum. When using his paper to overpower or push and target it would act similarly to facing 100 mile per hour winds, or a category 2 hurricane in the small area of effect. If Nicholas were to make a barrier of some kind it wouldn't really do much again things like bullets and cutting weapons. Being better at keep things with larger surface areas at bay.

Power Two: Paper Absorption, Along with his ability to control paper around him he also as the power to absorb onto his body, doing so allows him to generate it later on from his body as a sort of reserve. Absorbing paper can also some minor health benefits, like extra energy or healing minor wounds like small cuts and bruises. As well as increase his strength.

Power Three: Paper Form, this ability allows Nicholas to take on the form of a clutter of papers in the air. This ability mainly just acts as a way to quickly avoid attacks and provide extra maneuverability as well as to fly like paper in the wind. But speaking of wind, a strong gust of some kind can really mess up his movements while in his form.

Power Four: Paper constructs, as part of his basic manipulation, he can turn his sheets into just about anything within reason. For example, he could make himself a temporary origami companion/companions. Like a swarm of little paper birds or a larger paper wolf just to name a few.



Weakness One: Fire, paper is very flammable and his whole arsenal of it could burn away in an instant

Weakness Two: Water, it can make his paper wet, fragile, and unusable

Weakness Three: Strong Winds, as mentioned before a strong gust of wind can knock around his paper with little to no effort

Weakness Four Blood Loss, although not as direct as the other ones it's probably the most deadly. When in his paper form, the amount of paper damaged or destroyed correlates as 50% blood loss. So say all his paper gets burned. That's 50% of his blood just gone, putting him back into his normal form, and will go through shock and probable die.



Many sheets of paper that that have been absorbed into his body, allowing him to call upon it when deemed necessary.

Nicholas typical has a very dry texture and look to his skin, and sometimes  when on the verge of trans forming his skin and crumble like paper and it moves.
