Reo Nakamura is one of the more well-known faces around Avalon’s base. He has a very round face, usually a bright smile planted on it. He is a bit on the shorter side and could stand to lose some weight, but he doesn’t seem to be too bothered by either of these facts. He does have a light tan complexion to his skin, though there is something that’s kind of pale to him.

His hair is a good length, not long, but not short. He keeps it out of his face, but it can occasionally drop down into it as he works. While it is black there are signs of him starting to get a few gray hairs, but again, he doesn’t seem to be too bothered by this fact. He does have a nice, well-trimmed beard.

Like many of the other non-guard/agent staff of Avalon, Reo is often found wearing a lab coat, however he has chosen a nice black one with a red lining to it. He often wears some form of graphic tee-shirt which he claims are gifts from his niece and nephew, his pants are usually just whatever matches the shirt.



Reo is a very eager person. He is eager to help and prove that he is worthy of his position in Avalon. He is a bit proud and can be easily offended if someone insults his work. He is known to get excited about pretty much anything, taking an interest in the lives of many of those who work at Avalon. He is the friend to many and does his best to not get on the bad side of people. Additionally, he is a very intelligent person. He is responsible for designing almost all of Avalon’s base, primarily the underground section of it.



Reo Nakamura had a rather simple life. He never wanted to ascend to a level of fame or fortune, he just wanted to be appreciated by those around him. He grew up on the island of Okushiri in Japan and attended college there for nuclear engineering and design. He did pick up a hobby of creating both complex and simple inventions, things that he really didn’t have a use for, just stuff that he wanted to make.

He eventually came to America at the request of Liam Lockwood, promised to be paid a good deal of money if he could help them with an issue they were having at their plant. During his time in Maine he formed a strong relationship with Liam, eventually becoming best friends. It was then that Liam proposed that Reo join Avalon. Not wanting to let down his friend and boss, Reo agreed to help however he could.
