Black spherical helmet covered in circular holes with a strobe light inside, causing multicoloured lights to shine out. The helmet can rotate and determine which lights turn off and on. The effect is that Synth can simulate eyes/basic shapes in light patterns.

Black, silver and gold shiny suit + bow-tie.

Metal limbs lay underneath his sleeves, with retro knobs and buttons presented for Synth's convenience.

Synth is self aware, but his personality is programmed. While he has an extraordinary level of adaptive programming, core ideals determine how Synth should behave in most situations.
He sees most people as an audience for which he must perform. His demeanour comes across as a larger than life flirtatious electronic music singer. Since he speaks through a Talk Box, his speech is always pitch perfect and musical in nature.
He is almost always wanting to 'vibe' with other people, to play music and entertain/comfort them.
He wants others to have fun and be happy, and will put himself at immense risk to stop those preventing such things. A certain degree of naivety comes from this, though Synth is self aware of this fact.

If he can, Synth will refuse to speak and instead express emotion and intent through electronic music.

Professor Venn Romano, an Italian electrical engineer and professor at an American public school had dreams of grandeur. When he was but a young adult in the 70s, Romano wanted nothing more than to be a disco rock star. Instead, he allowed his parents to push him into their business of engineering and let himself fall in love. Years had he spent moving around with his family having long suppressed any personal aspirations of musical excellence. In 2002 the MicroK0RG Synthesizer was released and having settled in North America, Romano acquired one and got to know the systems required for making his own. By now the disco was long dead.
