Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

Fun and Games (Pat) April 1st Challenge
"Doctor, are you sure this will make us stronger than those supers?" A light skin man in a white coverall which hugged his skin like a diver suit, shouted from a steel blue table.
"Yes, trust me. I have a PH D." respond a electronic voice which rain from a intercom above the man.
The room was empty with two sliver blue tables in the center. The floors and walls were a collection of giant squares which matched the color of the tables. On the other table was a pale skin man two times bigger than the other man. His muscles shaped the skin tight coveralls giving him a more swear appearance. Both men lied down strapped in by their hands and feet. The bigger man barely moved keeping his eyes close while the smaller man fidget like a toddler waiting to get a shot.
"Gentlemen, prepare to witness... or should I say experience what the best brain in the world make when he is properly funded."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile, Riley sat in the corner of her garage watching a the intern work on a car. Her arms were folded as he dug through hood and checked the oil. She despite watching over new people. Everyone she originally hired we well experienced in their field. They also would be in charged of managing the people who worked under them. This day was special. Apparently her co-mechanic was sick and this was the interns first day on the job. He claimed he had some experience in high school but it was just taking too long.
"You are not moving fast enough ARGH," Riley jumped from her corner and pulled the kid away, "I hate babysitting. Just watch." She quickly in screwed a few caps and out came a small metal stick with a dark black liquid covered with what looked like dust.
"You act like you never touched a car before. Stop being a girl and get a little dirty. I work fast so you need to catch on quick or discover the cure for the common cold so your mentor can come in for work!"
Riley growled as she slammed the oil cap back into the trunk. As she turned around, she saw a needle shoved into her arm with a gel like purple liquid. The boy grinned as his bangs covered his eyes. Riley shoved him back and pulled the needle out of her arm.
"What did you stick in me" she roared at the boy.
He only laughed as he pulled himself back up. His voice slowly became deeper as he walked over to the angry woman. She watched has his hand grabbed her shirt. She was ready to react with a punch but her body did not move. It could not respond. It was lifeless and heavy. She tried shout but a weak voice dripped between her teeth. Her body trembled as the fluid crawled through her body like a ants swarming through their prey. It robbed her body of its heat, replacing it with the icy hands of a ghost running its hands through her flesh. Then everything went black.

Re: Fun and Games (Pat) April 1st Challenge
”I swear these demons need to leave more clues than just the smell of rotten eggs.” Sean muttered to himself, looking down at the scorch marks on the polished tile. His silver eyes narrowed and he felt over them with bare fingertips. They came off like smudges sticking to his finger like a blight but it was nothing more than a little coloration. The scene was a little shop, something that apparently had a real interest in having garish looking tiles but Sean wasn’t one to judge. Instead his interest was more on the dead body splayed across the floor, miring within their own blood. Not to even mention the horrific claw markings in their flesh. It was a shame really, but then again he had no control over what demons chose to do with their victims and didn’t even have the time to save them. Avenging just had to be the secondary thing he did.
Still, the stench in particular was an overwhelming one and one that made his nose burn with each inhale. Luckily he skipped dinner, or this would have ended up him just upheaving everything he had onto the floor. Not good to leave a future crime scene covered with ones own stomach content. Rising from his crouching position, he followed the claw marks that were running along the floor until he stepped back into an alleyway. Not as smelly as the building itself, but there was the faint stench of garbage permeating the air. One that only made he groan in annoyance. ”Great, now everywhere around this place just reeks of garbage.” Police sirens sounded of in the distance, likely going after some kind of crime that he didn’t care much for. Instead he followed the deep grooves within the walls, not even hearing the faint whistle of something flying through the air.
What he did notice was the sting of something hitting his neck.
”Fuck...” He cursed, feeling for what had done that and pulling away a small dart. Looking indistinct enough, and yet he knew one thing. Someone had just freaking tranquilized him, and his legs immediately began to agree. They grew weak, wobbling under his weight as Sean collided with the nearby wall. There was an attempt to flush whatever flowed through his blood with aether but his mind didn’t quite get the memo. Instead he just indeed up causing his skin to glow a little, fingers futily claws at the wall as if that would help him stay on his feet. The world around began to blur, become more shapes and blurs than anything truly tangible. Zell would have a field day if he found out he managed to get himself knocked out by some unknown.
Still, his body did eventually hit the floor with consciousness fading second by second. His breathing grew a little shallow, coming along with the fact that he was fading to sleep and eventually blackness claimed him.
In the distance a cat yowled angrily, follow by someone cursing at said cat.

Re: Fun and Games (Pat) April 1st Challenge
The smaller man screamed as his body temperature soar. His blood felt like it was on fire, turning his face pink. His screaming expedited the process as now his face was completely red. He panted as his voice gave out, unable to keep up with the man's throbbing muscles. Every fiber screamed as if each cell was being stabbed by tiny needles. The table chuckled at his feeble attempts to break through his restraints., rattling like hyenas at a comedy show. His back slammed into the soft bedding grinding it into a hard cloth. Sweat poured down his face further irritating his itchy red skin. Blood dripped from his wrist and ankles as they grind against the firm restraints and giving the man another reason to cry. Finally, a loud booming voice silenced him.
"SHUT IT!"
The man forgot about his pain just so he could see the bigger man gritted and hold in his suffering. A true man who allowed nothing to bother him, except the whining of a smaller man. This was bearable compared to that accused electrical chair, vampire sharp thick noose, or racist stones which found their home inside the heads of the minorities. The man's breathing grew heavy but the pain slowly died down below his threshold. The giant was after all, use this this kind of treatment. Such a model did not keep the smaller man content for long. The pain slingshot back into the smaller man's body sending him into a cycle of quiet whines. The smaller man was afraid. The pain was nothing to the other mans fury. A fury he had been force to live through time after time, but the smaller man was not strong of will. No, he was just a scavenger looking for the easiest way to get by. What better way then to be the minion of a brute who could sit through this like a monk experiencing enlightenment. He needed an distraction. Something, anything to take his mind off the pain.
"I see you are taking to my babies very well. Little Bodies I call them... Well technically they have a more appropriate name but I do not expect simpletons like yourselves to understand." The intercom granted the man the freedom from his pain for a moment, "These guys will make you strong, make you into the very beast you desire to be. And I have just receive word that your first meals have just arrived."
The Doctor walked over to a wall. It was smooth to the touch and free of any markings or scratches. That was until he stopped. A doorway carved through the beautiful steel and opened. Inside was a man and a woman. The woman's skin was pale and robbed of color. Her hair was white and the only thing paler than her skin. It flowed down to her waist and was combed out despite her unconscious appearance. Both the boy and the girl were dressed in bluish grey shorts and sleeveless shirt. Both which hugged their bodies sparing not the smallest detail in their physical make up. Both of them were thoroughly cleaned and a small chains tied them both together by a special metal collar around their neck.
"I hope you all are awake, please tell me how your trip was. Did you hear your new friend screaming. I was nice enough to give you a front row seat to the show. And believe me, there will be a show." The doctor laughed as he twirled his cane around using a strap attached to his wrist.

Re: Fun and Games (Pat) April 1st Challenge
Eventually the veil of sleep broke, allowing Sean to claw through the blackness back to the waking world. His body ached from laying on what felt like solid ground, and his mind swam with the grogginess of waking up. He really hated being kidnapped by random assholes that thought they knew what they wanted with him. A mans screams could be heard, echoing off walls and through the room that he was laying in. Eyes were kept closed, as if he wanted to keep the illusions of sleep, but it was impossible to keep the sound of someone screaming out of his head. The runes along his arms pulsed with light, as if they were mirroring his own heartbeat before settling down to faint hues of gold and black. Eventually he did let his eyes open slightly, noting the woman that lay next to him and feeling the restraints with a slight tug at them.
Someone had thought ahead about capturing the two of them, or perhaps they were just lucky enough to know how to deal with him. Whoever did this I am so kicking their ass. He thought to himself in an annoyed fashion, not wasting strength struggling against his bindings. His mind hadn’t awakened enough to break away what restraints they had, so he would have to wait for that to happen. Looking down to see that someone had been so kind to change his clothes, likely creepily taking a look while doing so. Eventually the door did open to a man, twirling his cane while they talked to the two of them. His eyes, now faintly glowing turned up towards them with a look of absolute contempt forming upon his face. He did not have patience with people that looked down upon him in such a fashion. Killing them however, well that was not so readily easy.
”Oh wow, card carrying scientist villain type. Are you going to lecture us about how we can’t understand how amazing your work is now?” he groaned at the man, rolling his eyes and just letting him know how little he thought of him. Killing the guy seemed like an ideal circumstance but now hew just wanted to mess with him immensely. Having them bark at him, now that would have been too amusing to pass up. His fingers felt for the chain that linked him with the unknown woman, glaring at her like a cinder block typing him down and then back at him. What was happening became even clearer now than before. He felt for the ring on his ring finger, twisting it a few times as if that would somehow make him feel more comfortable.
Trying to call up some energy didn’t work at this exactly moment, and instead he relied on his own annoyance to win him through things. Wondering if he could try to set the man on fire with his mind, which was possible but not easy right now. Annoying how drugs tended to fuck with his magic.

"Villain... no, I prefer entrepreneur. And I have been bite before by that card... or froze bite if I were to be witty... Sadly as with the Ice bitch, I have to leave you. Fore if you look up to your right, you will see a good view of my plan."
Another wave screaming blasted from the T.V. as the smaller man's skin darken. Blue pigment spread through his body. His eyes, however were filled with a red liquid which dripped down his face light tears. This liquid looked like blood but would look a little off. The bigger man's body would experience similar effects, however his chest and arms would double in size. His flesh swam through his body pumping up each limb one by one. Before long, his limbs were five times bigger and his head was deformed. Like a turtle it pulled between his giant shoulder. His bones spiked out of his back, sharp and sparking as they ripped through the table.
The smaller man's hands would turn into rocks. Embers danced out his mouth with each breath as his skin became darker. Black bones crawled out of his forearms forming cannon like appendages that would open and close alike a fish allowing only his hand and wrist to poke out. From inside, embers crawled onto his hand searing his flesh until only giant black bones remain. Despite the presence of any tissue, his hands still responded and squirmed in pain. More black bones jumped out of his body releasing flames before slowly withdrawing back into the safety of his black body.
"Looks like they are complete shouted the doctor. Now, for my next trick. Lets see if you four can become good friends. If all goes well, maybe I can get more volunteers and buyers."
The man left the room sealing the door behind him. However, on the other side another door opened up. On the T.V. The two would also see a door way open and the chains from the two prior men on the table release their limbs. The two growled and snarled before turning to the door.
The collars on the girl and Sean's neck suddenly grew lighter and clicked. The chains unrolled releasing the tension from appearing to be stretched out. The chains would seem to stretch out to allow the two to move a third of the rooms distance. A blue button also appeared allowing the collars to reel in the chain if pressed once, unlock the chain if pressed twice, and locked the chain if pressed three times.
On the ground, the pale girl did not awake. Her body started to sweat and tremble as if she was in a bad dream. However she continued to lie on the ground. At least she was not dead.
The intercom filled the rooms with the doctors voice. "See I have been watching a lot of movies and I wonder, who would win in a fight. Two men transformed by science or some pretend heroes who think they are above the world. Careful now, I place my money on my creations. Please do not lose in front of daddy.

Re: Fun and Games (Pat) April 1st Challenge
Evil men rarely ever called themselves evil. The guy who killed Ryan’s mother, that Lucius guy never really admitted that even now. It was always for the greater good or some stupid ideal that never bore the fruit that suggested he was even doing something good. Instead they were just self righteous, turning the same rhetoric on him as if that would make them by any means justified. That just more than anything annoyed him, but he could do anything about that right now while he was tied up like this. His palms pressed against the smoothed out floor, pushing himself up into a sitting position while considering the guy who looked down upon them with his damned cane. His eyes scanned over to the screen that was on the wall, broadcasting what looked to be some odd creature that likely was once human. Now volcanic, with blackened bones and skin with fire spewing from it.
Obviously he had a feeling he was supposed to fight it. Maybe even the two of them if this girl he was tied to would actually wake. Otherwise he had a feeling he would be carrying around dead weight...unless she was dead. Now that would have been more of an annoyance than simply having someone stuck to him. Goddamn, this was not good. Without any warning beyond stating something, a door behind the two of them opened and revealed the room they had been looking into a few seconds ago from the monitors. Strange beings roaring, and likely already knowing what their purpose was. He moved to his feet, feeling the chains that bound them becoming oddly slack.
Not like they would want to see their gladiators die without being able to perform to their fullest. That was a mistake that would bite them in the ass in the long run. Not that he would give them a chance to regret it for too long. Moving around he noticed they could stretch but didn’t know how far they would. A few experimental presses of the buttons yielded different results, one that would prove useful in a tactical fight. ”Hey, wake up!” He called to the woman, shaking her as if that would do something. Anything that would break them from a seemingly hopeless situation, now that was something that they needed right now, Especially when amoral scientists were making bets on whether one of them would live or die in their little experiement.
He felt the energy sweltering within him rising a gold from the markings that were writhing around his left arm as the aether began to attempt to work through her body. A cleansing energy that healed, though he hoped it would remove whatever was keeping her within that catatonic state. Healing magic had its uses afterall, and this was maybe one of the most important uses of all. Making sure he and this odd woman didn’t get themselves killed by abominations of science. Still, ,magic vs science was an interesting little debate. Not that he liked getting into it with Zell. Regardless of whether that worked or not, he would rise to face the threat.

Re: Fun and Games (Pat) April 1st Challenge
The smaller creature dashed through the room like a maniac. His eyes glowed red as flame spewed from his mouth. Testing his power, he then made attempts to test out his physical prowess. He jumped farther and farther leaving a trail of smoke behind him which quickly eroded into the air. Then he raised his arms and flames spewed from them. First it acted as a flame thrower but it quickly evolved into cannons which launched baseball size fireballs.
Meanwhile to giant creature simply inspected his large limbs. Energy spiraled around them before cycling back to the large bone spikes on his back. He grunted and screamed once the fire creature grew to loud but for the most part, he was quite tame, not phase by what happened to him. Still, the doctors words remained in his head.
Grogginess would be consider a understatement. Riley felt like she awoke from a massive hangover that resulted from a wild party with the dead. Maybe she could better describe it as waking up from the dead. Either way, her head was throbbing and the loud roars and screeching from the monsters did not help. Moving past the headache, she noticed a collar around her neck. Her immediate thought was being treated like a dog and the only response was a roar of her own. Only it did not. Her headache was gone. Her body lost it's sluggishness and felt... alive. More alive than it normally did given the reason she was walking this earth. Instead of shouting at the man who probably cure her of her ailment, she oped for a less violent approach.
"Hands off me," She shoved the man off of her and notice the pleasant feeling gone. So it was his doing, at least she knew who not to punch first. A loud booming voice shouting go keyed her to the open door way. She breaths accelerate as she turned to the man. Her icy blue eyes glowed ominously.
"Who are you, What happened Where are we, Why am I chained like a freaking dog to a short man like you. It is pissing me off ya know. "
"GO" he bellowed to the fire creature.
Then he marched through the hole like a sliver back gorilla. The fire creature only laughed, mimicking the chains which once mocked him. He ran is sharp bones along the ground and across the walls, leaving red burning cuts which seemed to be noneffective as the metal cooled. After realizing the lack of destruction he was causing to the room, he darted pass the giant creature and blazed into the new room with the two prisoners of fate. He screeched, and released fire into the air which raised the temperature of the room to that of a desert under a clear sky and angry sun.
Then he laughed more as he waited for the two to suffer under the rapid changing of air temperature. Around Riley would remain the original room temperature if not a little hotter. Every meter away from the girl, the air would grow hotter until it felt like a blistering desert 5 meters away.

Re: Fun and Games (Pat) April 1st Challenge
The woman shoved him away from her as soon as she woke up, breaking off the intake of life energy he had been putting into her. He would have grumbled, but at the very least that meant she was awake. ”Looks like you joined us back in the land of the living.” He quipped, turning to the roaring creatures they were being arrayed against. One of them looked more than ready to begin the fight while the other was more interested in their own strange altered body. His partners annoyance was equally called for, considering they had both woken up in unfamiliar places chained to people they had no knowledge of. ”Names Sean. Don’t really know why we’re here but it looks like some kind of fucked up science experiment. Had the pleasure of talking to the cane holding fuck before we got thrown into here.” He rolled his shoulders, keeping his eyes on the true threats they were arrayed against.
That was when one of the creatures bellowed, releasing fire that began to envelope the room and bring with it unbearable heat. He could already feeling his body becoming uncomfortable. ”Really hate fire powers. Always heating the damn place up.” he did note that the area around this odd woman was...well not scorching, which meant that her power had something to do with affecting the temperature around here. Now that was an interesting, maybe even useful little ability that would help in this battle Taking a defensive stance, he called upon the element that he thought would work best against a fire creature. ”Anyway i’d suggest we stick together. This air is a little hot and I doubt you want me dropping from heat stroke.” With a few motions he felt the air, moving with his body. Almost as if it were an extension of his body.
”Let’s just try to deal with these two things first.” Like a whip his arm struck out, causing the wind to work with that motion and unleash a blade of pressurized air meant to lash against the largest of them. Concentrating so it would actually damage a durable being was not too difficult, considering he just need to put a good bit of energy into the strike and his own stores were rather sizable. With another quick motion he tried to unleash a blast f air that would knock the faster one to the ground, putting as much force behind it as he could. Of course it would put even the powerful hurricane to shame, releasing strangely cool air throughout the blistering room. Now he wished there was some water around, and yet there was not. This just meant that he had to rely on the only few elements that were available. Hopefully he didn’t need to use nether on these guys.
Inducing sudden and quick necrosis, now that would have been some nasty business to go through. Not that he would have held back on doing so if that was what it took to get the job done anyway.

Re: Fun and Games (Pat) April 1st Challenge
Riley grumbled at the man's joke. Dead jokes just sucked the life out of what life the ghost had. It also irritated her by reminding her of her pass mistakes and failures. This would be the second time the woman had to hold back her instinct to just get violent. She found it almost comical. This strange man was already pushing her buttons. However his next words would add a buffer from her feelings. His name was Sean, something simple and easy to remember, and he was taken also. Great, they had something in common. Was it fate, true love, or just some sick twisted fantasy. Either way, the goal was to punch the teeth of some crummy scientist in.
As the current threat rolled in and started flame spraying, the man began to complain. He spouted something about disliking fire. However in Riley eyes, things were starting to heat up. Clearly this scientist was stupid and lacked the brains to pick a better opponent. As the room heated up, she started absorbing the heat. It was not enough to truly unlock her powers but it was a start in leveling the playing field.
"Funny, I was just thinking how great he decided to waste that glorious gift of his."
She cracked her knuckles and started moving towards the creature but suddenly she felt wind... inside of a closed room. She turned around and saw the man moving weirdly. What was he.
Not wanting to get between Sean and the freak she stepped aside and watched as a whip of air shot out and struck the giant creature. The creature raised its arms to block but was still knocked down. Even Riley was surprised and kind of glad she did not attack the man. Was it machinery, magic, tiny bacteria? What ever it was, it was powerful. However the man was not finished yet. For his next feat, he would blast a ball of wind at the fire creature. The creature however was as observation as it was loud and did not underestimate the mans powers.
It took a sprint stance and exploded in a lunge to the wall. Then it lowered its head and launched a flame thrower like attack at the man. Riley had two options. Let the man burn or jump in the way. For now, she decided to keep the man alive. He had a unique ability to stop her headache so maybe he could mend burns. If he could then she could quickly take advantage of the creatures flame base attacks and join the man on offense. It was a big gamble but what did she have to lose. She was already dead.
"You helped me get over my hangover," Riley jumped in front of the flames, "So I will face the flames... for now."
As the flames hit her, she screamed in pain. Her skin seared, her hair sizzled at the ends as the fire ate at the excessive length. The creature hauled to catch its breath leaving Riley still burning like a screaming alpha. Instead of stop, drop, and rolling, she allowed the flames to bite her skin until her body absorbed them. Her arms were charged, her face was covered in black smoke.
"The... Names... Riley."

Re: Fun and Games (Pat) April 1st Challenge
He didn’t know what he was dealing with beyond two weird mutants that threw fire and heat around like no ones business. Something that made his skin crawl from even the idea of letting the stuff get so close to him, considering he remembered the last time that he found himself getting burned. Being stuck inside a burning bull, well it was not a pleasant experience or even one that he wanted to relive. So instead he tried to keep himself on guard, while working together with the person that he had been locked up together. The creature he struck with the whip of air seemed to buckle even under the attempt to block it with the massive arm. At the very least this meant that one of them could be taken down from his powers, and that meant the two of them had a chance.
The other creature avoided the attack, ducking under it and latching to the wall as it unleashed a gout of fire at him. He took a stance as if ready to react but instead the woman jumped in front of the attack, screaming in pain as her skin bubbled and burned. ”What the fuck?!” he said outloud exasperated, already drawing upon the aether and letting it wash over her. It would feel pleasant, even as her skin began to mend and anything hair lost even regrowing. There was a little pulled from him as he let the healing rise from his arm, letting out a small huff while glaring at the quick creature. What he did notice was that it looked like the strange woman absorbed the flames rather than just letting the consume her. An interesting ability, but that did explain why it was cooler around her. Not that was an interesting little ability to run around with.
”Well Riley, try not to get yourself killed just yet.” Sean said with a smirk, taking control of the air within the entire room and making for something other than outright attacks. The air churned around them, forming what could only be described as a maelstrom that was intended to catch anyone outside of their area into it and drag them around the room without any real intent to hold back. He hoped to have the smaller one get thrown around, maybe hit the wall and ground a few times as if that would cause them to break important bones. If they didn’t want to get hit, that likely meant they were more fragile than the other one and he could take advantage of a weakness like that. At the very least that was what Sean was hoping to do, considering that he had no idea what these things were and their real powers.
He put all the power he could while letting Riley do whatever her plan was, if there was even a plan to be put into place, That energy absorbing thing was interesting and maybe it could be their ultimate trump card in this battle.

Re: Fun and Games (Pat) April 1st Challenge
The giant create scuffed as his partner managed to avoid the air attack from the tiny man. For a tiny frame, he packed a powerful punch. Something in the giant creatures arms were broken. However the flesh just hugged the bones together. When his partner blasted the girl with fire and she lived, he knew he had to do something. his partner was not moving and the man was untouched. With one blast, the annoying fire creature would just fall over like the black glass cannon he was that would leave him to fall prey to the man's magical wind abilities.
Riley fell to her knees as she regretted her decision. Her body burned as she used none of her energy to mitigate any of the damage. This was her first time using her power but she knew she pushed it. Her eyes were glowing red as the heat energy flowed through her body. It did not burn like the first time she revived from the dead from that lighting bolt so she still had room to spare. A positive thing to say the least. Then the pain disappeared as her body was being restored. This man was powerful and useful though she hated to admit it. Her gamble paid off and she still had her life. Even her hair managed to grow back.
"I stopped fearing death... a long time ago."
Then a surge of wind slammed the smaller creature across the room, breaking his fragile black bones. The creature screamed, cried, beg in a series of monstrous grunts squeals and snarls but the wind did not let up. Even his partner avoided the attack by guiding his body to the hallway. As the attack died down, the smaller creature lied in the corner of the room twitching as every limb seemed bent the wrong way. He was out for the count and was not going to be able to recover anytime soon.
He slowly made his way to his feet. The bones in his back rubbed together and collected a powerful electrical charge. This charge further illuminated the room as a ball of energy hovered over the creatures head. Then the creature plunged both his hands into the ball and felt the power course through his fist. Then he roared, though it was probably not the best idea, and ran at the man. He just needed one hit. One punch to crush every bone in the tiny man's body. If the man survived that then the energy would fry him like the idiot who stuck a fork into the power outlet. Another round a pummeling would guarantee a kill and then he could move on to crushing the life out of the pale girl.
However before he was able to strike the man, Riley stood up locked hand with the creature. The hair around her grew hotter as her body used the stored heat to amplify her strength. She screamed in pain as the electricity coursed through her veins but her screams turned into laughter as now sparks were radiating from her arms.
"MAHAHA YOU BASTARDS REALLY PISS ME OFF. DON'T WORRY THOUGH," The creatures arms snapped in half. "I won't kill ya. I'll just make sure you are forced to live through every. painful. Moment. of it!"

Re: Fun and Games (Pat) April 1st Challenge
Winds howled, tossing and turning in undulating fashions as the more fragile of the two creatures were caught within them. It didn’t take too well to him doing so, slamming into anything hard and bones shattering upon contact. He couldn’t hear the sounds over the noise, and yet could tell from the fact that it hit the ground in this misshapen heap that looked almost pitiful in design. He frowned, looking down upon it but didn’t do anything beyond pity what likely had once been a person before they were reduce to monstrosities. Whoever did that would have to pay in time, and he would be delivering that retribution on behalf of those that had been ruined. No one could deny Sean was powerful, and he planned to use that power for something that was even faintly good. Still, small steps and ones that needed to be taken with care if the two of them wanted to get out of here alive.
”Same here, but honestly i’d prefer I not die in a place like this. Have people that need me.” Zell, Silus and Michael likely would not forgive him if he went dying in unknown places against monsters of science. Hell, they would likely revive him just so they could bite his head off.
The other creature would begin to charge up, crackling the bones within their back and creating charges from what he assumed was static electricity. This energy would gather within their firsts, likely to augment any physical attacks that they would make against him and make things more annoying from there. He prepared himself, feeling the nether gather within his right arm as if prepared to do the duty that death energy would do against living flesh. Until his ally decided she wanted to show that she could do something in this fight to, and he would let her do just that. Instead of avoiding the attack, she just caught the fist and let the energy run into her.
Screams would turn into macabre laughter as he told them how fucked they were. It didn’t take the monster too long to see they were in way over their heads, but that was also too late. Its arm broke in half, brackish blood splattering from the now stump. Sean smirked, feeling air gather under his feet and propel him towards the crearure as black energy would begin to coalesce around his arm. This black, crackling substance laced with red lightning that caused the very air around it to feel dead. No heat, no warmth and just the cold of death. His hand would latch onto the things face as the energy begin to funnel into it. Any flesh that was there would begin to peel, rotting away from the mere touch of nether and soon enough bone along with it.
His point was to rot its head to the point that...well it would fall off and leave them one foe short. While he was a hero, Sean was no saint. Once that was done or failed he would back flip off and land next to Riley.

Re: Fun and Games (Pat) April 1st Challenge
The large creature cried in pain as his arms are rendered useless by the woman. The woman who was just rendered useless by the flames of his partner. How did she get up so face. How did she become stronger then him. Surely this was a dream. No, it was a nightmare. He wanted to cry, call for his mother, but it was too late. When he came too a weird energy shot into his head and he was now dead. His body just limped onto the ground. The two creatures were destroyed, so easily by the wizard and the ghost. The game was over, the doctor lost his little bet. Now the two deserved a reward.
Riley dropped her smile after seeing was the man did. To kill the creature like that. It ruined her fun. She never got to see the creature break, cry, or give up in the face of overwhelming adversity. Worst of all, the creature was done. He did not need to die, not yet.
"You killed him... You just ended his suffering. What he hell! I was fucking enjoying myself. He is dead, no family, friends, all alone... dead. Shit he's probably happier now." Riley's eyes flicker yellow before being over saturated in red.
She was angry, but she knew she needed to save her energy. After seeing her, this scientist or whatever might not give them any more energy base opponents. Still, she turned back to the dead creature. She could not believe someone who would heal a stranger could just kill like that. It made her sick. It made her angry. She wanted to lash out at the man but it was not the time.
Suddenly the alarms started blaring and red lights filled the room.
"Well, this has been a disappointing moment. I kind of did not expect the man to be that strong. It kind of was unfair. Well, I wish you luck on your next life as I have set this place to release a gas that will kill and eat away at organic matter it touches. Good luck though and have a crappy after life."
"Why does every fill the need to make all of these dead puns... it's killing me." Riley paused for a moment and then slammed her hand over her face, "Great now I am doing it!"
She turned to the man and shook her head. The next time they meet, she would make sure to punch him for all the times she held back but that would be for another time.
"Good luck, I would say it was fun... but your a kill joy so... yeah, bye," She started running off until the chain caught and yanked her to the ground.
She grabbed her neck and then turned to Sean. She forgot about this chain. It was not like they used it to subdue the creatures nor did it pose a problem to them because they stayed close together. It was only now that it was becoming a hindrance. At her limit Riley Let out a loud scream and started throwing a tantrum and attacking the wall.

Re: Fun and Games (Pat) April 1st Challenge
He felt it, the nether radiating from the dying being and that energy flowing now visible into his right arm. The runes glowed a brilliant red, this ecstasy that burned through his flesh both painfully and pleasurably. It had been forever since he used the evil energy, and yet here he was doing so to put down a creature that knew nothing of what it was. It was better to let it die, than suffer the sadism that his partner might have put upon it. Even Sean was not so cruel as to hurt someone more than they needed to be. It was their creator that deserved such wrath, the suffering that was to come. ”Save your wrath for the one responsible for all of this. I promise you, I won’t cut his suffering short like this things.” Sean hissed through teeth now clamped together, looking to the remaining one that was still writhing within their pain. He was no longer Thanatos and didn’t enjoy seeing things suffer here.
That was when the doctor spoke up and he heard the little announcement they made and a sudden realization hit him like a ton of bricks. ”You have got to be kidding me.” he spat, feeling the bloodlust bubble to a brimming heat as the mention of him planning to end them along with the wretched creature. ”You’re really going to regret that you piece of shit.” he spat angrily, feeling the energy flow within him at an increase space in response to his emotions. Trying to amplify his magic and undo the seal that had been put within him. A seal that kept him from letting too much mana flow through his body and burn the cells out, to burn him out like a candle. Zell would have been pissed should he know that there was even the chance his own magic could kill him.
Still he had no choice within the matter.
The woman spoke and tried to run off, then remembering that they were chained together. He stumnbled a few paces, feeling slight discomfort around his neck and looking up. Grasping onto the chain, he tried to funnel nether into it and decay the links. If that worked they could more easily escape and if not they needed to escape together and find someone that could undo their links. So many options really, but he much preferred not being stuck to someone that did not appear to like him very much. Pouring as much energy as needed he would turn to her. ”Calm down, i’m trying to break the chain now. If that doesn’t work I know someone that can probably do that.” He had hoped to calm the girl down, but he wasn’t sure if it would work.
All that mattered now was if the chain broke. If not then either they needed to find a key or someone who could...well force it open. One thing that he did know was that they had to get out of here before that flesh eating agent was released into the air.

Re: Fun and Games (Pat) April 1st Challenge
"Oh You can do that?" She watched as he channeled some kind of energy into the chain. However it had no effect. "You can summon great winds, command death, and heal wounds but you can't break a fucking chain. What kind of hack are you bub... I bet you just think I am cute and want to stay close to me. Well guess what pervert, I would not be caught dead with you..."
"FUCK I DID IT AGAIN ARGH." She screamed and punched the wall. As she did, her fist exploded with heat energy and the door burst open revealing a sign over head that had the words exit and a arrow pointing left. Of course it was that easy. Violence always solved problems. How if only it could tell her what happened to her employee. If he was dead, then she would have to run the shop and fix all the cars herself. That was going to be a pain. As she was in mid thought, The Sirens blasted through the air screaming about how the gas was being released through the air. Now was not the time to be worrying about home. They had to get out or else Riley would die.
Dying sucked too. She would loose so much time and her employees might skip work. It would be the absolute worst thing in the world. "Look Lets just get out of here before the gas starts to come down. She pointed her hand and her skin started to peel off. "OUCH OUCH OUCH, DAMN DAMN DAMN!" The gas started coming down from the room but the hallways were free of the stuff. If the man was not coming then she would drag him to safety. She was not going to suffer because he was dead or wanted to die.
"How long does it take to use your air attack," She yelled. She was running out of energy and had maybe one more attack in her before she became useless again. It was a crappy curse were she had to get hurt with either fire or electricity before she could even use her powers. Also, she could not resist the attacks or else she would not get much energy. That was why she even took the full force of that fire attack. Speaking of fire, she hoped that fire guy did not suffer too painful of a death. That gas burned a lot but it did not seem like it would quickly erode the body. The only reason she felt the pain so fast is because the lighting monster fried her hands and Sean did not heal her.
Maybe when they get out she should pretend to be friends so Sean could heal her. Naa, she would take care of it on her own. She would have plenty of time since she did not know where she was. At least Sean knew someone who could take care of the chain. It would be a bummer to be stuck to this man the entire time.
