Darwin is awkward to say the least, with very little experience when it comes to social interaction. He is the type to bury his face in a book, rather than speak to another person. Beyond the awkward exterior, Darwin is a jokester, with a deep love for dad jokes. His hobbies would be deemed boring by most, such as chess, chemistry and of course reading.

Darwin was raised by 2 families in Siberia. The group of individuals were all magically inclined, and fostered gifted children from their families. These were simple times, being raised in seclusion, being taught how to hunt, and how to properly control magic. Once the children were able to hide their abilities, they were brought to London, where they would meet supernatural creatures, study them, and learn to blend into society. During this time, Darwin went to study abroad in America, where he had met Seth...essentially leaving his studies for a life on the road, hunting the creatures he had studied.

Beginners Magic:

-Fire Arrow: A flaming arrow is shot from the bow, causing whoever it hits to burst into flames.
-Ice Arrow: A crystalline arrows is fired, causing whoever is struck to be covered in thick ice.
-Shock Arrow: A bolt of lightning fires from the bow, hitting the enemy with 1 million volts of electricity, but is non-lethal.
-Curve Arrow: An arrow of mana is fired from the bow, curving around any obstacle in the way to hit the target. The arrow can only curve once, though.
-Speed Arrow: A mana arrow fires from the bow at around 1,700 mph(The speed of a bullet). It sacrifices stealth for an instant hit.
-Breach Arrow: An arrow made of mana fires from the bow, implanting into a wall. It waits until Darwin triggers it, blowing a 6 foot hole into most brick walls.

Beginners Wards:

-Demon Ward: The demon ward is intricate, and requires blood to draw. When done correctly, no demon can leave the ward, effectively keeping them trapped.
-Supernatural Ward: This ward is to keep creatures out. Darwin created a substance to draw with that is basically salt,glue, silver flakes and holy water which decreases the chances of the ward being blown away. When done correctly, spirits, vampires, werewolves and most other creatures are unable to enter.
-Magic Ward: This ward requires multiple symbols to be drawn over a large area, which nullifies most magic within the perimeter, including Darwin's.

Alchemy:

-Salves
>Healing Salve speeds up the healing process for wounds significantly.
>Vampires Bane is a salve that causes a specific area of skin to be toxic to vampires.
>Wolves Bane is an extremely toxic salve for werewolves, though it only last a short time.

-Grenades
>Silver Grenades explode with shrapnel of silver, which is very useful against supernatural enemies.
>Holy water bombs are the staple of Darwin's weaponry. Because they're literally water balloons with holy water inside.
>Salt Grenades explode, dusting the entire room in salt. Great for spirits and other creatures.

-Potions
>Night vision potion is self explanatory..drink it, and you have night vision for 4 posts.
>Water breathing potion is also self explanatory, giving you the ability to breathe underwater for 5 posts.
>Potion of fearlessness: This potion is constantly in demand; when consumed, the user's body secretes and increased amount of adrenaline, allowing them to ignore their fears.

-Wards take a decent amount of time to be made, and are mainly used as traps or back up plans.
-Darwin can not cast spells without his bow.
-Darwin is human, with no added durability, so he is squishy.
-Darwin is a beginner hunter, and while he can handle more human like creatures, things like werewolves still scare the ever living shit out of him.
-Darwin is extremely dependent on coffee, or well, caffeine in general. Without his fix, he's is irritable, prone to headaches, and can't think straight.
-Darwin is socially awkward, and tends to let Seth do all of the talking. When he absolutely must interact with others, he stutters, mumbles and says things wrong.

Ichaival: Ichaival is Darwin's compound bow, named after the bow that Odin possessed. The bow is engraved on the handle with a rune, allowing Darwin to channel his mana into the weapon. When he casts spells, no arrow is needed. As he draws back, a mana-arrow appears, which will take on the characteristics of the spell. The bow also fires standard arrows.

Carnwennan is a fancy name given to Darwin's silver dagger that he keeps on his side, in case of up close situations.

Quiver of Many Things is an enchanted quiver, which Darwin won in a chess match with his mentor. The quiver constantly has 10 arrows being shown, and give Darwin any arrow he puts in, so long as he thinks it. Note: The quiver doesn't create the arrows, only stores them in a pocket dimension.

The Occult Handbook is Darwin's guide to spells, alchemy and wards. It's a 9 inch thick, leatherbound textbook, which he was meant to return at the end of his mentorship.

Arrows:
Standard arrows with broad heads are commonly found in Darwin's quiver.
Grapple Hook is an arrow with a multi hook head for a tip, and thick rope hanging behind it.
Silver arrows are expensive, and rarely used, but they are common place in Darwin's quiver.




Darwin trained for years in archery, giving him an expert shot.
Darwin's love for chess has made him a master at planning ahead, placing wards and traps where he believes they'll be needed.
Darwin loves to keep a healthy body, and spent much time practicing parkour, gymnastics and rock climbing.
