Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

DOUBLE XP EVENT: Has it really been 10 years?
Superhero RPG's 10th birthday is on July 23rd! I cannot believe it some days...
There's no set theme for your double XP events.
We're just enabling Double XP from now until August 1st.
New threads may be entitled to extra goodies, but feel free to go ahead and make all posts double XP that are made from this date until August 1st.
Now, I'd like for your guys to do me a favor!
I need you guys to reply to this thread and answer these questions... and that's it.
I just really need to get this feedback to help SHRP continue to grow and change.
1. What brought you here?
2. What made you stay?
3. What would you change?
4. What shouldn't we change?
5. Do you feel staff are unfair at times?
6. What was your favorite moment (in RP)?

Re: DOUBLE XP EVENT: Has it really been 10 years?
1. What brought you here? Okay, so. I’ll try to make this brief, because I don’t want this to go on forever. So. I spent around 6 years in a roblox group that was dedicated to X-Men role playing and - insert poor me music - I was pretty harshly treated to the point that I still have issues with it today. It was pretty hard to pick up the pen again after that.
When I was eventually kicked out of that group; I searched for a new RP site. And I found one called “Notorious”. It was a superhero website with original lore. I fell in love with it. But, sadly. A year later the site closed.
After another couple months in January 2017, I found you guys. Mi familia. SHRP.
2. What made you stay? The community really helped me through some rough times in my life. A couple months ago, my mother passed away. And Chelle, Pat, Dub, and all of you really helped me through that. I know I’m probably pretty annoying sometimes, but just know I love you all.
3. What would you change? Okay, so here’s a big surprise. Character slots. I think they should be easier to obtain and maybe we should be able to get a get a few more of them. But I admit to being an addict in every sense of the word.
4. What shouldn't we change? I mean. That accounts for everything that isn’t related to my character slots. LOL
5. Do you feel staff are unfair at times? Well, being a staff member I probably shouldn’t answer this; but they’ve never been unfair to me personally.
6. What was your favorite moment (in RP)? Definitely when Samael and Martyr kissed over Las Vegas.

Re: DOUBLE XP EVENT: Has it really been 10 years?
1. What brought you here? I've always been a fan of making characters and playing in a community. There are a lot of games I've played to get to make my characters. Usually, super characters were looked down in each of them. I was finally inspired to find a forum RP by a video I watched. It was about an online game with hero characters. In the video, the characters had an uphill battle to become some of the best heroes and villains in the game world. I also watched a forum RP video with Star Wars characters and amazing interactions. I combined these two and set out to find a cool forum rp that welcomed superheroes. And I found The Superhero RPG, and it was made for me. I was welcomed the very day I joined by a friendly Thorgron and from then, I made some characters and learned a lot in the first few weeks.
2. What made you stay? The staff and community in general was so welcoming. The high level players with a lot of XP and powerful characters didn't try and break me down like in other RPs. Nobody got super angry over the smallest things like character mistakes. I love this community and how we can share ideas without someone deciding to copy and paste it. People help bring you up in your bad times.
3. What would you change? I might change the amount of slots at the beginning. Maybe like 4-5 instead of 3, but then it would be more expensive to get more.
4. What shouldn't we change? I think the way characters are limited right now is perfect. Permission based things, and such. NPCs being unlimited but not gaining xp. I love how well balanced everything is. A low level character could exploit a weakness to bring down a higher level one.
5. Do you feel staff are unfair at times? I've never been treated unfairly in my time here. The staff is all welcoming and friendly. As soon as I made my first character I was let in freely. The staff aren't bullies like in other RP groups.
6. What was your favorite moment (in RP)? I haven't found a favorite moment in RP, yet, but I'd have to say my best so far is when in a thread, The Dabbler and Owl Man were being chased by an aquatic dragon and Owl Man decided to go underwater, where the dragon thrives!

Re: DOUBLE XP EVENT: Has it really been 10 years?
1. What brought you here? Way back in the late aughts me nephews told me that they had started an RP about Superheroes and asked me and my brother if we'd like to join.
2. What made you stay? That's a bit of a loaded question, as I'm coming back from a 6-year absence, brought on about by nostalgia.
3. What would you change? I don't think I've been back enough to have an opinion informed enough to have any kind of weight. I guess that some of the other old hats were here too, coming back fresh with me.
4. What shouldn't we change? Being awesome.
5. Do you feel staff are unfair at times? See the first half of my answer to question 3.
6. What was your favorite moment (in RP)? I had a character get married back in the day. I believe he had a kid too. That was a nice moment in the fiction.

Re: DOUBLE XP EVENT: Has it really been 10 years?
1. What brought you here? I was really missing the old Superhero RP site I was on and decided to look for a new one. SHRP was the first result so I decided to check it out, and the rest is history
2. What made you stay? The Community. Everyone made me feel extremely welcome when I first signed up. Everyone made it easy for me to fit in and made this a comfortable place to spend/devote my time to. And one of the amazing things is that for as long as I've been here (Not as long as others but still) I can say that the community even now as it continues to grow is one of the best groups of people I have ever been around.
3. What would you change? I'm being totally biased here, but I want more slots T_T (I have a problem ok!) I dont know if I would say if I want them to be easier to obtain or what, but I know I just really want more slots to make all the things!
(I honestly tried to think of something else but couldn't at the moment, but when I do I'll let you know.)
4. What shouldn't we change? Character creation. Allowing people the freedom to make a character they want, that isnt restricted by numbers or stats of some kind is huge. I honestly think its one of the main draws and why so many people join and stick around. Being able to be creative and make exactly what you want is really nice. And the fact that those ideas can then be approved upon via the advancement system is a really nice touch.
5. Do you feel staff are unfair at times? All dey tyme (j/k I love you all)
6. What was your favorite moment (in RP)? Hasn't happened yet. (Looking at you Chelle....It's going to be epic)

Re: DOUBLE XP EVENT: Has it really been 10 years?
1. What brought you here? I think what mainly brought me here was just a want to Roleplay as a superhero, but not having a good medium to do so in. I hopped around a few forums, but none felt quite right, they wildly crazy and organized and I just didn't feel at place in any of them. Coming upon this site, just in my weeks of searching I found that there was a certain pull to it and I just winded up getting sucked in.
There was no outside source or person who led me to this site, I just happen to stumble upon it on my own.
2. What made you stay? There were numerous factors that kept me here. Compared to other sites I joined the community was not as welcoming or supportive of my dumb ideas or my lack of skill. I was unable to get clear forms of help from anyone and I was often put on hold in my requests for help. The staff here was more than welcoming and would answer my questions in a very efficient speed. In addition, the community was very welcoming and it didn't take me long to make friends with both new and old members. Of course, in every community, there were some more tight nit groups, but for the most part I managed to make my way in with relative ease. To sum it up in only a few words, it was very welcoming and easy to get involved with.
3. What would you change? I believe I have voiced this concern a numerous amount of times and I am sure there are many others, both of which comes from just speaking with people and just from what I hear.
I would change the character slot system. By no means do I think we should have full access to make as many as we please, I for one actually appreciate that there is a limit, I think it is very beneficial to the site. By no means do I want the site to become flooded with hundreds of new characters, but I do think the system in which character slots could be obtained could be changed up, while still holding back the flood.
My boss always told me if I ever had a problem with something that when I address it I should come with a possible solution and I have thought about the character sheets for some time and have come with a few possible solutions. I do know that I rather new here and have no idea of the inner workings of this forum nor do I believe I shall ever fully understand them, but still, perhaps one of these would be helpful in some way and if not, I apologize for wasting your time with them.
A-) Increase the starting amount of sheets, somewhere between 4-6, the usual party size in games and stuff, Persona, Pokemon, Fire Emblem, etc. Following that, keep everything else the same! Just having more options right off the bat would be a lovely touch, but the systems wouldn't have to be changed to accommodate them.
B-) Decrease the amount of XP needed to purchase a new slot. As of now it requires you to type around 150,000, not including bonus XP events and such. Many threads don't get finished and it can be hard to get the 300 XP that is needed. I personally have been part of several threads that have died short and ended up losing a lot of potential XP. If the XP needed to purchase a new sheet was reduced to something like 100 XP then you would only need 50,000 words, still a lot, but more achievable in a well paced time-frame.
C-) Add another way to achieve a character slot. I have heard of events in which they have occasionally been given out, but perhaps there could be a monthly or bi-monthly or tri-monthly event in which a character slot is given out. Perhaps give us a goal or a theme, something like "Stop bank robbery" or "Fight of aliens" a superhero trend that is often seen somewhere in comic books, a common threat that will usually come up. Alternatively for villains give them something like "Rob a bank" or "Trap a hero in an elaborate trap". Do this with the condition that it must be completed by the end of month. In addition to gaining character slots it encourages people to thread together and to actually finish threads.
With this said, I do believe there is still a threat of receiving a flood of new characters to which perhaps there could be some other way of managing it. I understand it's also a hassle to have to read through hundreds of sheets, approve or disapprove of them, and so on. Perhaps there could be a ruling in which a person can only make a certain amount of characters a month, like, someone can only make two characters a month, even if they have free sheets, this way people aren't overloaded.
Alternatively, maybe before someone can submit a new character sheet they must have their current characters be in at least 1-3 threads. That way the characters they are making receive some play and can develop more.
As I said, these are just suggestions and by no means do I fully comprehend how everything is run and that I am still new. I understand I don't fully get everything here, but still, from what I have seen in my short time here is that people do want a change to this system in some way! Whether it does or not, I still fully support this site and try to tell all my nerdy friends to come here! This is an amazing place!
4. What shouldn't we change? Oh man, there is so much here that is so well thought out and done. I love the system in which there are permission based powers and you need another player's permission to do something to their character. The staff that has been chosen here is wonderful, they are absurdly helpful and understanding. They speed at which characters are approved and they are checked over is done so very well!
All the coding and design to the site is amazing.
There's so much to love about here and I wish could rant as much as I did above, but I'd just be saying a lot of same things over and over again.
5. Do you feel staff are unfair at times? Nope! They are always helpful and I've never felt nervous about coming to them for help.
6. What was your favorite moment (in RP)? It's hard for me to say, mainly due to the fact many threads I have been part of have dropped dead, but I loved when Sam was first heading to the ECLIPSE building in NYC and just the feeling I got from there. I loved the fight against the monster in Beasts Below, though that was sadly never finished, I also very much love the time in which Sam and Siren took on a small organization of androids! There have been so many good memories here though so it's really hard to just say "This moment right here is my favorite." I look forward to making more memories on this site!

If you have threads that aren't completed, but you didn't kill them by not posting, let me know. You are entitled to the XP gains. If you wanna discuss it more, feel free to message me on Discord, or send me a message on the site.
No one should be losing out on XP if they didn't kill the thread. It's in our rules.

1. What brought you here? Way back in the day I saw a friend of mine from HS posting on a forum. I asked his sister if she used it too, and she did. I invited myself on but I chose to be under the guise of a man named Nathaniel. (It's how Chelle's brother was born). I was a huge douche. I was an elitist. I thought I was better than everyone. Admittedly, I just wrote more. I could put a few sentences together more easily.
At the time, no one knew it was ME that was RPing. After a few weeks, or was it only days? I was in the Latin room writing on the site and that friend from HS noticed. I was caught. When it was revealed it was me, things changed. I got invited to a post apocalyptic RP forum, then a space RP forum... shortly after I noticed they had a Superhero themed RP forum. This was back when Pain, Slamfist, and VivaLaCult were the three main admins. At least, the three that I saw on all the time. I went to HS with VivaLaCult and Slamfist. Though, Slamfist was about 2 years ahead of me, and Viva was 1.
Anywho, side tracked. When I joined the site, it was very... new. Only about a year old at the time. It was something that had been thought of, and abandoned, then they came back to it when they felt like writing as those characters. When I joined everything was based on a stat system that was legitimately the Marvel power grid. Side note: we almost got into a lot of trouble for using it. Luckily, we stopped using it before any lawful action was taken against SHRP.
The site has seen many administrators, a handful being older and what not. But I remember when I became a moderator. I would approve characters, make sure people were taken care of. Etc. My main goal was to spruce up the overall look of SHRP. That's all I wanted to do... and I ended up getting my wish, but at the cost of losing some of my favorite people.
There was a huge falling out between the original administrators and staff. It boils down to... too many chiefs and not enough indians. Then it was just Pain and a couple other mods. I was one of them. Pain ended up making Bliss an admin, and then later Rinne aka Dylan. Those two lead a great charge for a long time. A long, long time. I was mod alongside of AJ and then Pat for a WHIIILE. Then there was another falling out. Drama, cliques, etc. It ruled the board, and it was no bueno. Unfortunately for us, Pain had become AWOL and was dealing with college, life, and et cetera. A few people voiced their opinions about how stuff was being run and he swooped in and demoted a few people. I was one of them.
Bliss and Rinne left after that; they didn't need no drama. AJ was made sole administrator. He and I created a 10 point system in place of the 7 point system that was definitely a rip off. After a while, AJ threw in the towel and made me Admin. I was alone with Pat as my mod for a while. I made him my co-admin.
Fast forward to today. We all have our ups and downs, but things change all the time for a reason. I was a little shit back in the day, and now, ten years later, I'm "Mama Chelle" and ya'll give me too much credit. You guys are what make this community good. You guys that get up and make posting a part of your day... you guys are the reason superhero RP is as great as it is today.
2. What made you stay? I kinda slipped my reasons into the first question, but I'll add on to this:
The community. Hands down. I love that I can stop posting for a while and just do admin work, and still be comfortable to come back to posting like I was never gone. Ya'll put up with my no posting bullshit. Even for a year I've made a thread sit dormant and I posted to it and it was like I never stopped posting.
3. What would you change? It's been a struggle for me, but I want to change the character slots as well. I do like to keep it limited, but I also feel like people should be eligible to RP as who they want, when they want. I have ideas. Don't worry. Keep saying what you want to improve though. Please. I love hearing differing opinions and ideas. <3
4. What shouldn't we change? Essentially.... we're good. Haha.
5. Do you feel staff are unfair at times? I feel like I can be a little too harsh on you guys. I've never felt that any staff have been unfair to me. I also feel, though, that some people in the staff may assume that because I know so much that I'll just be fair. OF course I have always been fair, and sometimes painfully too fair, but I do remember Cosmos would always check me and make sure I wasn't being a lil too over the top.
6. What was your favorite moment (in RP)? I have many.
1. Paine being killed by her older brother Doctor Necrodium and then being held in Pain's arms, her father.
A quote from that thread, "Dad... your heart.. is made.. of gold.. you.. have to.. share it's.. wealth.. with the world.." -- Paine to her father, Pain.
2. Another great moment in time is when Dominus tried to blow up Chelle and Cilian in her New York office. Chelle literally shoved her hand down a man's throat and forced his heart out of his chest through his rib cage. She's a little... calmed down now.
3. When Tyuki got her wings. She was running and punching thugs in New York with the Talons. She was probably 19 years old when it happened... her wings exploded from behind of her, a brilliant display of white and gold.
4. When Tyuki's wings were broken by Dressler and then she was captured by Lucius. It really almost broke this character's whole morale... but somehow, she pulled through.
5. When Chelle turned Bliss into a vampire. Misaki Mae stabbed Bliss in the spine from behind, which likely would have forced Bliss to be in a wheelchair for the rest of her life... but Chelle was NOT having that! Not at all...
And of course I have some more... but those are some that I think about often.

Re: DOUBLE XP EVENT: Has it really been 10 years?
1. What brought you here?: A lot of things, really. I've always been into comics, literature, role play, and general nerdy stuff, and this place just sort of fit every category from the beginning. I found this place initially through Google about six years ago, left after some real life tribulation and maturing, then came back in 2014 to make Lucius Alba.
I think I have a similar story to many people here. Not to make this some sort of AA meeting type thing, but I was an awkward, introverted, screwed up cookie, and in many ways still am, but this community gave me an outlet whenever I needed one. Having little social life throughout my vagabond style existence, I was naturally drawn to the interesting and kind people here. Some of those people have become my best friends, and I wouldn't give them up for the world.
Basically, I'm weird, and y'all are weird too. Bing bang boom, done. That's why you're stuck with me.
2. What made you stay? This is too similar to the first question, Chelle! Gosh!
But really, it goes without saying. The people. We've had our ups and downs, and I've been the cruelest of assholes at times, yet for some reason most everyone still decided to keep me around. More then just not banning my face into the ground, they accepted me and forged friendship. I stuck around cuz you people got to my lil' heart through the metal shell of my dickery.
3. What would you change? Unsurprisingly, a lot. It isn't really a secret that I've tried my hand at influencing the site quite a bit. However, the last couple years I've shifted my focus. Instead of trying to change things that don't really need to be changed, or complaining about problems with the system, I've decided to put my stories and characters out there as much as possible. That's worked out pretty well so far, and I think we've gotten some really nice plots out of it all. That said, It isn't really an easy thing to do. Given the reigns, I would attempt to change that.
Starting out on the site can be overwhelming. It took me about a year just to find my footing, and that got especially frustrating considering the type of stories I wanted to tell. As a new member, things can feel static, or at least very small. Only until you develop as a player and get more connected in the community do your actions feel like they have impact, and even then it can be hard to do something big considering the completion rate of arcs and quests. I want to make the barrier for entry lower, and get everyone's voices heard more clearly in the plots themselves.
I propose a monthly event. And no, not an organized arc or quest-line, but just an announcement of some sort. Staff would simply let the community know of some happenings in the SHRP universe, from zombie outbreaks and terror attacks to alien invasions and cosmic threats. This essentially outsources arcs and major events to the community. No longer would people have to be pressured to keep up with a quest, and no longer would one creator have to be responsible for maintaining a huge plot. Players could make threads and tie them to something larger as they please, and more importantly, finish them as they please. You can choose to take part or not. Half the site could make threads revolving around the event of the month, or everyone could just ignore it in favor of the next one. It would make the world seem as if it were always changing, with a threat around every corner for the heroes to oppose, or, perhaps, for the villains to exploit.
More then tying their stories to the threads of others by virtue of them all taking place within the same incident, incentives could be offered just like during holidays. That, or it could run off of the quest XP ratio of 350 words = 1xp. Anything to get people excited and roleplaying more, really.
I know many of these types of things don't go over well, but it would be easy to implement, and the take-it-or-leave-it approach would allow a certain flexibility not seen in arcs, which tend toward dying. It would be just like making normal threads, only you vaguely connect it to something others are participating in as well.
4. What shouldn't we change? The very generous balance we have between freedom and restriction. It allows people to make whatever they want while still not breaking things. The case by case policy especially allows staff to work with players to get their vision created in as pure a form as possible without causing too many problems.
Basically, stay open. I was skeptical of the statless system when it first came out, but now I'm a full supporter. It works perfectly for the type of site SHRP has become, and that's a story-focused board.
5. Do you feel staff are unfair at times? Of course they are. We're all a little human sometimes, no?
Really though, I can't think of many recent cases. As indicated in my previous answer, the system as it is now is pretty lax. The only time Mama Chelle goes Angry Mama Chelle mode is when you try to do something incredibly stupid, or you're just being an asshat.
Regardless, this place is the most libertarian rp site you'll probably ever see. You can do pretty much whatever you want so long as you ain't infringing on the ability of others to do pretty much whatever they want.
6. What was your favorite moment (in RP)? Gosh, where to start? In no specific order, that's how.
1. In Indestructable, an incomplete follow up to another thread called Asking For It, Lucius mourns the apparent death of Silus, who he sees as very close to a son. Although the thread was never finished, I consider it a part of Asking For It because it starts literally right after that thread ends. It's a powerful moment that I enjoyed writing.
2. "Take me. The boy doesn't deserve to meet his end on my account." From You Should Have Killed Me When You Had A Chance. Silus tries to revive Lucius while Red is hallucinating due to the antics of Sin. Archon eventually hijacks the vision and offers Lucius a choice: The boy or himself. The moment shows a major turnaround in a previously nigh totally corrupted individual. Nuff said.
3. Literally the entire conversation between Tyuki Gold and Lucius in Broken Wings: Aftermath. It's simultaneously the dictator's masterstroke and a pique into the better part of a very dark man, and seems to be a major milestone for Tyuki's growth as well. All around a lot of fun. No ships tho...
4. Drifter and Skyler's duet from Day by Day. It's cute and sets them both off.
5. The moment that Drifter finds out Humanity is his friend, Matthew, and the follow up monologue from I Don't Know Why?
6. Lucas' wish of Castiel from Bad Blood. "I-I want to die. No......that would be too painful for my siblings. I want to have never existed. I was made to be some weapon, and my mind feels like it's not even my own. So why live? I'm......I'm nothing but a monster."
7. Me and Pat did a thread of the ages during the fake April Fools Challenge that Chelle so mischievously set up. Not only did we get all twenty 500 word posts out in under six hours, but we got a pretty coherent and fun thread out of it too. Quips like "......My.....God, I wasn't aware I stepped into a Power Rangers episode," and "Yeah, I think we might want to consider getting worse at this whole science thing," being my favorites from Lucius, and ”Let’s not. Think of it like another Chuckie Cheese event,” and ”I think we did too good on this one,” being my favorites from Alpha. All around a lot of fun from a usually serious duo of villains.
There are plenty more, but these are the ones that just popped into my mind. Don't feel left out If you don't see your characters here. I've enjoyed the majority of my threads here a great deal.

Re: DOUBLE XP EVENT: Has it really been 10 years?
1. What brought you here?
I was trying to find a videogame about superhero's, but then I ended up on this site and poked around, then found an entire world behind my screen!
2. What made you stay?
Well, mostly the community. Everybody is easy to talk to and the staff are friendly, which I found isn't a very common thing.
3. What would you change?
Well... Maybe a more defined statistics system. I heard you guys may have done one at some point, I really like the creativity of the 1 power, 1 weakness rule, but there was a thread where this one guy couldn't even land a proper hit, because he made his character far too weak compared to the villain, who mind you, also just started, and that left a big unbalance. So I think some sort of leveling system, so that new players can have an evenly matched battlefield, and you would most likely get more posts happening, because everybody wants to be the strongest, which is hard when you start the game as god.
4. What shouldn't we change?
I think the freedom of creativity, which I know contradicts with my last point, but it needs to stay.
5. Do you feel staff are unfair at times?
Lol! Never!
6. What was your favorite moment (in RP)?
I don't think I have one yet, I still need to explore this wonderful world just a bit more.

Re: DOUBLE XP EVENT: Has it really been 10 years?
1. What brought you here? I'm very into superheroes, despite being older than SHRPG itself.
2. What made you stay? Despite the few times I had a conflict with other members, I was given plenty of chances to correct my mistakes.
3. What would you change? Maybe add companions or pets that can be bought with XP.
4. What shouldn't we change? The pace. Even when I've written incomplete posts, my occasional RPing partners were able to join other threads. I'm very impressed when members write thread after thread of non-stop action.
5. Do you feel staff are unfair at times? No. They do their job very well and fairly.
6. What was your favorite moment (in RP)? There are too many to sufficiently answer this question. I do, however, enjoy how Jeannie Rose comes up with so many awesome stories.

Re: DOUBLE XP EVENT: Has it really been 10 years?
I’m not especially active or experienced, but I’ll add my two cents.
1. What brought you here?
I was brought here but a few weeks ago when an admittedly strange (what’s new) exchange of superhero sound effects and puns led Nate to suggest I join despite the empty void in my brain where superhero knowledge should exist.
2. What made you stay?
I think the laid-back environment may be why I’m still here. This site provides a forum for my writing to be published without me having to constantly ping my partner and ask shyly if it was good enough. I’m to a point now, too, in which I’m slowly becoming comfortable with the majestic world of powers and supers, whereas I could barely think of a power besides those possessed by Superman a few short weeks ago.
3. What would you change?
I don’t believe I’ve been around nearly long enough to form any solid opinions. I haven’t had many problems yet. Most of them are errors of my own stupidity.
4. What shouldn't we change?
The creative freedom allowed here in heroes, stories, and powers is wonderful. I doubt that you’re planning on changing that, of course. Stay helpful, stay welcoming.
5. Do you feel staff are unfair at times?
No! Whereas I’m typically wary of staff on sites as if they are celebrities and I am scum (it may still be true, but I choose not to believe it), I’ve found the staff welcoming and.. entertaining since my very first day. I would not have made a character without the help I’ve been provided. Sorry I’m needy and dependent, ha.
6. What was your favorite moment (in RP)?
Ha, my character hasn’t done much yet, but I’ve simply loved developing and using her powers.

Re: DOUBLE XP EVENT: Has it really been 10 years?
1. What brought you here? I was like... 14-16? Loved superheroes, and needed somewhere to throw my self insert. XD
2. What made you stay? The people!
3. What would you change? Mostly I'd just like a compilation of major site info and events. Cuz like I didn't know Belarus was a dictatorship till I started combing through threads. Just major stuff like that. There's a lot of old unupdated compilations that could use organizing and... well updating. Like I loved the idea of the news thread but that's like. Dead. Also a constantly updated character roster vs. searching through the accepted application area since it's kinda a mess. @@ Activity checks may help with that? Like it doesn't neccessarily have to be u must post once a week just like the occasional post like are you still here and what are your characters? Just like organizational and info stuff. It's not a deal breaker at all!!! I'm just Like That.
4. What shouldn't we change? Everything else!
5. Do you feel staff are unfair at times? Naw.
6. What was your favorite moment (in RP)? I've been on and off so much nothing rlly comes to mind, but I'm still friends with a lot of the people I met here when I was still a kid so I guess just the people again. XD

Re: DOUBLE XP EVENT: Has it really been 10 years?
1. What brought you here? I started years back. I loved the show and manga "Naruto" and started to RP on a site. I think that site closed down for awhile and my journey ended up here.
2. What made you stay? The urge to write. Don't get me wrong, the people are great too. I am just saying that I have left a few times because life got busy, jobs change, living situations change, but the thing that keeps me coming back is that I love to create stories and put my imagination to work. I just hope people like reading it as much as I like to write it.
3. What would you change? I would like to see more of a history thread. What has happened in the past? Who where the key players? Maybe link their characters and the site-altering threads and let people (new and old) read them. I've left the site (because of life) and came back, not knowing what, if anything had changed.
Also, maybe add more active story arcs. I've just returned from being off for awhile, so I may be wrong, but I don't think they happen very often. I do understand they require time and the trust from members (if they were to help run one) that may be lacking sometimes. Maybe take turns, every couple months have one of the admins run one. Take a poll on what people would like to see or continue from other arcs that have happened in the past and play off it. There is a ton of great and wonderful ideas out there, you just need to reach out and ask .
4. What shouldn't we change? I love the knew system. The powers and weaknesses. I didn't like the power point system we had before (the grids) only because you couldn't really make a character that you wanted, the restraints were too tight in my opinion. And it gave people that have been here for awhile an unfair advantage.
5. Do you feel staff are unfair at times? Haven't had any issues with this.
6. What was your favorite moment (in RP)? It wasn't on this site actually. The first time I "won" a fight in RP. It was back in my Naruto days. *looks up and off to the distance*

Re: DOUBLE XP EVENT: Has it really been 10 years?
1. What brought you here? Boredom. I had just started writing online. Roleplaying. It was in sense, a new thing to take my time up. Then, one day, I decided to look up superhero rps and I found this place. And the size of it, the look of it, everything kinda just made me want to check this place out, to sign up. So I did.
2. What made you stay? The people. Ish. Mostly it was because I wouldn't leave. I wanted to make a story, to have fun and to meet new people. And while at the start I wasn't exactly the best person and as I've spoken to others, nor was I to them, I grew up and as I grew up, I grew up alongside the site, hells the site helped me grow up. And I couldn't leave it at that point. No matter what.
3. What would you change? I can't think of anything. I'm sure their are things already said that I'd agree with, but as it stands now, I don't need anything changed. This place is perfect to me. And I don't need anything more personally, I'm just quite happy to accept change as it comes, not bring it, lol. Only thing I could say is updating the history a little? Not sure what would be added, but eh.
4. What shouldn't we change? I refer to the above for this answer. Everything as it is, is fine to me.
5. Do you feel staff are unfair at times? I have no personal feelings to this, as a member, I didn't thin staff where unfair, and as a staff member, I attempt to be fair. But attempt is the best I can give you.
6. What was your favorite moment (in RP)? I wish I could have certainty. I wish I could write something from the many, many threads that I've written in. But as it stands, I have too many and too few, I do not know what exactly is my fave moment. But I do know I've mostly enjoyed every moment of rp.
