However, some people get other dire information from sources even more questionable than Wikipedia...

Amethyst placed her hands on the planchette and breathed deeply. "It doesn't work like this." No one else sat around her. Even ghosts did not want to be around the cursed paranormal investigator. "I wonder if Uzma got my call. I always forget if sending messages to cell phones from divination is affected by the lunar cycle or by astrological placement. I probably should have just written down her number."

Amethyst leaned back, placing her hands behind her back. She reached over and grabbed her hat, placing it rightfully on her head. Wearing a white bustier with a white skirt and black stockings, Amethyst looked like she could either pass for Halloween or just French from a few decades ago, but nonetheless, she looked like Amethyst.

Light peaked in through the breaks in the wall, showcasing the dust particles floating to Earth. Or at least the floor boards of the abandoned villa on the outskirts of Paris, tucked away in what used to be a small hamlet, but now acted only as place for ghosts. And dead, black cats.

The aroma of Paris rose through the streets. It smelled like croissants. Really good AF croissants. "I thought Paris would look more magical." A woman wearing a wide brimmed fedora stepped into the sunlight, staring towards the upper walkways and fire escapes of the large buildings. She placed her hands on her hips, drawing on the checkered overcoat resting over a pleated brown skirt with pantyhose running down into a pair of leather loafers. "This just smells like bread."

"Fancy bread, Tamiyo. Fancy bread." A pink skinned woman with protruding horns stepped next to her partner, placing a delectable piece of bread in her devilish mouth. "Where is this demon you said we needed to find oh so quickly?"

"It's around. It came through a portal from an outer realm. I don't know what it is, but I know it has nothing but bad intentions." Tamiyo reached to snatch the loaf of French bread, or as they called it in France: bread. That might not actually be true, because in Texas, they still refer to it as Texas Toast. Don't mess with Texas. "Give it Nightshade!"

"Get your own." The infernal outsider brushed Tamiyo off and began walking towards the street. "Instead of hunting down a demon for this weird city, I'm sure we could find something else to do- with other-"

"Your sexy, demon bi-sexuality doesn't work on me!" Tamiyo pointed judgment towards the pink skinned woman in the black dress running down to her pointed heels, but still showing a great deal of leg. "We have a duty to accomplish! And I, Dr. Tamiyo U Von Gutenstein, will stop at nothing until we achieve our mission."

Tamiyo slammed her fist while Nightshade pushed another piece of bread in her mouth. "Now give me a piece of that bread!"
