We put the 'Rok' in Ragnarok
Amethyst ducked just as an ax impacted into the marble wall above her head, knocking down a plaque reading 'Ancient Norway'. "Ice, Ice, baby!" A bolt of ice shot from Amethyst's hand, impaling the massive man bearing down on her. His long hair trailed behind him as he shot across the room, blood poured out from his chest, staining the pig iron breastplate adorning his chest.
Amethyst stepped back as two more men and an armor clad woman ran past a column into the room. The trio gained more ground than Amethyst anticipated. A thrown ax hit the wall right next to Amethyst's head, enlarging her eyes. It took an shaking hand to grab the flask from her side pouch, and a steady cork to keep her hand from letting the plasma spill all over the room, but Amethyst pulled out her trump card.
The bearded blade of a double sided ax continued its trajectory straight into Amethyst's lower neck, but a parry from the impacted throwing ax slowed the blades resolution by a second. That second bought Amethyst her head. She slid out, and tossed the flask into the middle of the room. "It's getting hot in here!" A spark of flame snapped from Amethyst's fingers, igniting the flask as it hit the apex of its arc. The plasma within the flask erupted, igniting the three aggressors in the marble gallery.
In the corner of her eye, Amethyst spotted the viking she bolted with an ice lance pull the melted barb out of him. His wounds closed, and his gaze white. While the fires burned, Amethyst grabbed the satchel she worked so hard to fill, and darted for the nearest exit.
A bearded ax flew from a perpendicular adjacent hallway, slamming into the wall in front of Amethyst. "Ay! Kill the witch!"
The ax did not hit her, so she kept running.
And, so did the men who gave chase behind her.
Taking a sharp right, Amethyst bolted into the exhibit hall featuring a fully constructed tyrannosaurus dominating the center platform. The flanking assortment of dinosaurs all remained in tact from wires and bolts, but a bearded ax shook a velicoraptor from its stand with its misguided aim.
"I am one with the force and the force is with me! I am one with the force and the force is with me!" Amethyst dove under the tail of a stegosaurus. She only listened to what sounded like a man crashing into the bone obstacle as she found what looked like an emergency exit in the back of the room.
She pushed through the fire escape and felt a hand grab her by the collar. Instead of finding the exterior of the museum, she found herself inside of a purple and black wooden hallway, facing a ruggedly, some would say hottest guy ever, manly man.
"Tengo Okami!" The man held out his hand near his chest.
"Wow, you came at the perfect-"
"You've been kidnapped!" The hand by his chest shoved Amethyst into an open room, slamming the door shut and locking it. "Hey! Miri! I found someone I think I can enter in a fightclub, but don't talk about fightclub. I'm pretty sure she can fight a bear."

Re: We put the 'Rok' in Ragnarok
Miri had always found herself in the weirdest of situations. Her last adventure was one with Bliss tied to her back, a small version of Bliss doing an obstacle course, and some crazy lady and a crazier lady doing some pretty crazy things.
And it always involved a museum.
At least, that's how Mirshann felt.
Tengo had made it a point to not let Mirshann get away when he picked her up again just a few days ago. It was like he was serious about her being his first mate or something. She had no where to go, so a free bed to sleep in and food in her stomach was nothing to complain about. It really beat sleeping on the cold hard ground, or in trees.
She would make it her mission to make herself useful, even if it were for a cause she barely had any understanding of. Plunder for booty of multiple kinds, but also have fun while doing it.
She was always confused by Tengo's vocabulary choices, but stuck to her own lane when it came to conversation.
Standing just to the right of Tengo as he grabbed hold of Amethyst, Mirshann would take their place in the open doorway of the ship's hull and notch an arrow. She let it go, the blinding light it emitted flashing the men chasing Amethyst and blinding them. Mirshann would then shut the door, turn, and walk back to Tengo and the new girl.
"Hello." Miri would state, bowing as she secured her bow back around of her torso.
"We do not have any bears that you speak of, Tengo. Do not scare this girl. That is very rude of you." Not quite speaking like a baby anymore, Mirshann was able to form proper sentences, but she would articulate each consonant and vowel, making sure to pronounce the words in full.
Mirshann would just stand there, tall, a little lanky, but full in the right places.

Re: We put the 'Rok' in Ragnarok
"Oh, no, no, we've got a bear." Tengo brushed his hands as he walked past Miri. "Hey, you're full in all the right places."
At no point had Okami procured a bear. He only heard people talk about bears on the Internet twice. The first time came from a website listing the prowess and majesty of the Kodiak bear. The second website listed a place where you could locate bears. Not, actual bears of course. Okami located a fetish website specializing in pairing men. So, Okami began his search for the best bear he could. "You know Miri, I think some of those guys you shot an arrow at- by the way, that was really cool- look like they could be exactly what we need."
Okami knocked on the cell door. He knocked again. "Now who's being rude? Am I right?"
"The door it locked!" Amethyst stood behind the door.
"I know. That's rude!" Okami banged on the door.
"You kidnapped me!"
"You're just full of excuses." Okami took a step back and looked over to Miri. "Miri! Your captain orders you to open the door. Please?"

Re: We put the 'Rok' in Ragnarok
Mirshann was not particularly easily confused, but when it came to Okami, there was no doubt he could confuse Einstein or Stephen Hawking. It wouldn’t take much, either. Just standing there, maybe gesturing between two objects, and he would have an entire room of geniuses perplexed. Miri would clear her throat and shake her head, the pointed ears affixed to the side of her head gently swaying as she disagreed with him.
”That is not a bear. That is a man. A man cannot be a bear, Tengo Okami. A bear is a quadruped mammal that sometimes stands on two legs. I read this in a book, you see.” Mirshann would be proud of herself, a grin crossing over her face as she stood up a little bit taller. She was definitely happy with herself on that one.
But, she had also zoned out of the main conversation. Miri would bring both of her hands to her face and hold onto her cheeks gently, her lips pouting in a worried fashion.
”A please may be the best way to get this door to become open again…” Miri said, nodding as she looked at Okami. She then furrowed her brow and pointed at him with a stern look on her face.
”Tengo Okami, we must not harass this girl. Saving her was an easy feat, but we mustn’t keep her here against her will!” insisting that they let Amethyst go, Mirshann would push passed Okami to make herself room to peer through the key hole in the door.
”Hello lady of raven hair. We did not mean to kidnap you. We just wanted to make sure nothing hurt you. Those men were throwing axes at you, and Okami thought it would be nice to save you, see?” Miri’s bright blue eye could be seen on the other end of the key hole if Amethyst made the effort to look down at it as well.
Miri, of course, would then replace her eye with the key to open the door. As the first mate, it would be irresponsible for Mirshann not to carry the keys to the doors inside of the ship that Tengo called home.
