The Speed Demon Attacks

Drift growled ducking under the blast ands truck hammering his fist through the club swingers stomach and ripped his intestines out,Drift picked up the club and turned towards the demons,Drifts legs bent before shooting into the crowd wielding the club insanely striking down everything in his past as he ran full speed through the demons.

Instead of the skeletal hand dealing damage it caught him lowering the impact damage. As the blast flew at Obsidior and his hand, the hand closed tightly and dropped into the ground. After another second the hand rose from the ground right in front of the Speed Demon it's palm glowing with green energy and Obsidior rose from the ground with his arms crossed over his chest, as if he had just been buried. Obsidior's hand was glowing with green energy and he sent it at the Speed Demon's heart attempting to end this battle.

The Speed Demon dashed around him just in time to evade the attack, running around to his back side quickly and once again striking his back with a violent chop from his one arm. "I'll kill you!" It cackled madly as it fired more blasts from it's mouth, it's technique getting repetitive.

Drift had put a small dent into their masses, but it was still merely a drop in the bucket, this entire city was flooded with these demons. Even if they were to defeat their general, they would spend some time wiping this city clean of Demons....

The chop struck his shoulder which made Obsidior whip around and able to dodge the other attack just barely. Obsidior didn't move instead this actually infuriated him. Obsidior clenched his gloved fist and tightened his jaw, emerald hued energy emitting from his balled up hand. Obsidior’s mouth loosened and words came out with a bold, heroic demeanor.

“Look at me you bastard!” he shouted, with anger laced in his words. “You shouldn’t have messed with New York City, I am its guardian, I am Obsidior…The Necromancer…I am your end!” Obsidior finished, he was furious, he had seen too many die here, and he was going to put all of his energy into ending this, he just wanted it to be over.

Obsidior rose on his lush green energy, it was formed into the shape of a sleek, slender surf board, and his hands were placed together. With Obsidior concentrating dozens of skeletons rose from the ground and protected him, making any attack the Speed Demon threw at him useless. After about another second his emerald energy formed between his hands, pushing his hands apart, the energy was huge, bigger than Obsidior himself, he had never exerted so much energy before.

Obsidior’s arms ached from the sheer weight of the energy and his hands burned from the enormous amount of energy he had collected. Obsidior rose in the air, floating on his energy, he then brought his arms forward, the blast was huge, even the Speed Demon would have trouble dodging it, if it even could. This was a last ditch effort made by The Necromancer in order to rid the world of this monster. “DIE!” he yelled as the blast closed in on the Speed Demon.

Drift stopped and looked around and begin blasting demons cutting through 6 to 7 at a time His hand's also flashed out absorbing the mini demons and adding there energy to his own,Drift flicked his wrist sending a blade beam slicing through 20 demons."Come to me I will be your death.

The Speed Demon's eyes widened as it witnessed so much power, it cowered before it, he simply couldn't move, his whole body was frozen and shaking. The blast hit him, engulfing the demon and blasting him into nothing, a violent green explosion ending the demon general. A loud scream was heard as the explosion went off, the sky was covered in smoke, the blast has been rather large, nothing was left and that was made clear once the smoke had gone away.

Despite his victory, demon's were still everywhere, amongst the lesser demons were more powerful ones, some of them get HUGE. Like the one that suddenly jumped down from a nearby rooftop, it's size nearly three times that of an average man, it's arms massive and muscular, it looked demonic and pure evil. It moved towards Drift quickly, it's fist cocked back, intending to club his face in.

The Necromancer also had troops advancing on him, tons of lesser demon's surrounded him, moving in at him as much as they could at once. He was vastly outnumbered, even with his skeletal allies. Would these heroes be enough?

Drift slid back from the beast and grinned charging both hand's and fired a beam of disintegration energy into it's overly bulky chest making it a ideal target.

Obsidior grinned with pride, victory was so close he could taste it, but just as his heart was filled with triumph it was scattered quickly as many more demons advanced. Obsidior sighed as he tried to ignite his hands in green energy, barely able to do so, he was low on energy and would probably barely make it out of this fight alive. Then an idea popped into Obsidior's head.

self-destruction he thought, but shuddered at the idea of dying again. Obsidior shook the thought, he would only do that as a last ditch effort, if all else was lost. Obsidior rose on his green energy board and took off forward weaving through the mass of demons his hands emerald from his energy, using them like swords to decapitate demons, could he still win the battle.

A lesser demon jumped onto the Necromancer's back while he was riding through the crowd, he quickly began clawing into his shoulders and back as viciously as he could. The masses beneath him were having difficult reaching him on his little green board, but they would get to him eventually! He cut through a few of them, so what? Thousands where that came from! Drift hit the General demon directly in the chest with the attack, it let out a horrible yell of death and fell over, holding it's chest in pain and bleeding out.

Drift probably felt confident right? Well the General had a friend, and he rained on Drift's parade. It was another General that had come from his backside, ramming into him and taking him on his arm, continuing to charge with him, charging him directly towards a power line. The demon threw the man as hard and far as he possibly could into the damaged power lines, electricity whipping about, he was obviously going to get shocked.

Drift hit the power lines and screamed as electricity flowed through his body Drift's eyes flew open glowing red before he fell onto the ground his body shaking from the electric currents still going through his body.

"Damn it!" he exclaimed then looked towards Drift. "Well that is one less ally" he said as he easily punched the lesser demon in the side of the head, cutting straight through it. Obsidior's next target would be the other general, Obsidior flew from behind it with his glowing hands, he jumped off of his board and jumped for it's chest, he was hoping for him and his board to slice through the demon and Obsidior would land on it on the other side.

(That would be epic)

More and more demon's jumped at the Necromancer, all of them clawing at him, there had to be had least ten of them! He was still vastly outnumbered, no matter how many he killed. Two flying Demon's flew over to Drift and began violently zapping them with their energies, the General also charged towards him once again!

Drift screamed as his body was shocked he lo0oked up and suddenly two beams exploded from his eyes destroying the demon with a yelp Drift jumped up his fingers brushing causing a explosion right in front of the charging General.

The Charging Demon General was exploded by that attack, his guts, blood and limbs flying everywhere, spurting about. A lesser demon leaped towards Drift and tackled him to the ground, clawing into him as it mounted him, more demon's moving in on this opportunity and attempting to surround and mudhole stomp Drift!

Something Similar happened to the Necromancer, a lesser demon leaped towards him and tackled him clean off his green energy board and into the crowd of demon's where he was then literally dogpiled! Clawing, biting, scratching, punching, or just simply crushing with their weight, how ever they could harm him they tried.

Atlanta stood under siege for hours on end, many heroes giving their lives to defend the city and it's people. They seemed to be led by a single 'Hero', some one who had receive direct orders from Pain. The Necromancer had been successful, with the help of heroes, and even some old enemies like Drift, they fended off the demons that attacked. So far Pain's strategy was working, many teams of heroes sent to different cities, defending different locations and saving as many lives as they can. Atlanta may lay mostly in ruin, but it will be rebuilt, as will everything else if they make it through it all....
