Edge looked back at his former lover, seeing her this furious was something that he had never wished to see.His only love was her and now he is about to kill or be killed because of it, he just kept running leaping from trees to other trees and fiding anyway to evade her.

Maria amplified the sound of everything in the swamps; water splashes, croaks, everything. It turned into a loud screech, rampaging Edge's ear drums.

Edge held his hands to his ears and fell to his knees, the noise gave him a headache and he knew he could keep going but he stopped. his teeth close to the grip of his sword.

Maria's kick was countered, but her flip technique was a success. She kicked up from his back which flew both back from each other. The intense heat of the swamps already made Maria to feel a little sweat come to her forehead, or she was merely imagining it.
