She snorted at his attempt to brush it off, but she'd let it slide. It wasn't something that she particularly wanted to push at right now. "Is kinky sex the only thing you've got on your mind right now?" She raised a brow playfully and nudged him back.

Well, not that she'd mind, let's be honest.

Malik laughed, "Nadia, kinky sex is ALWAYS on my mind."

He layed his head on her lap and close down his eyes a little bit.
"Ever wonder what in the hell love is?" He asked dreamily.

She hummed at his question, carding her hands through Dire's hair. "I've got no clue, hon." she started. Huffing out a tired laugh, its been a long day.

"But I do know that it makes us do some weird crap."

Malik nodded, "Yeah, I guess you're right... It can kill us too, if we let it."

He closed his eyes, nearly falling asleep. He was exhausted, even for such a short fight. It felt like he lost a part of him, like he lost his purpose. He didn't need to kill for someone's pleasure anymore, he didn't need to live in an apartment anymore, and he didn't even have to be a metahuman anymore.
He wouldn't tell Nadia that, though. Making people nervous was his specialty.
"No kinky sex for me tonight, but I do have a question. Can we be a thing? I'm really into you and I just can't see myself living without being able to call you mine for much longer... So please?"
He made a fake puppy dog pouty face, not knowing the extreme deja vu that would be hitting Nadia from her vision earlier.

Ain't this a familiar sight.

Nadia smiled and let out a huff of a laugh. She looked at the man occupying her lap and bent down to press a kiss to his forehead. "Of course sugar, I'd be a fool not to." Her eyes are happy, probably the most she's been in a while. "I'm all yours, hon."

Malik smiled, and rolled over.
"I'm glad... Night Nadia."
He said, falling asleep.
He hoped deep down this would work and that he wouldn't screw it up somehow.
So, he slept, hopefully to have many more nights like this.
