Here comes trouble

Cebra hurries along with Jeannie to her car narrowly dodging the laser blasts along the way. He leans head first against a pillar groaning as a silver liquid seeps from his wound covering the whole shoulder and begins repairing his flesh

"Ohhhhhh yeahhhhh, that's feeling good"

He say's with a deep sigh

The robot starts to close in on the two slamming cars out of it's way like a bulldozer. It's laser was charged and ready to fire.

yeah I guess but, smashed by rampaging robot might be tricky to explain. seems Cebra ok so Jeannie decides to find something to fix their robot problem.

she looks though the truck of the car and smiles when she finds what she was looking for. a rocket launcher might seem like something odd to carry around. but Jeannie had a feeling that if the hacker she's after is some evil genius he'd have evil robot minions.

that's how it works in comic books so she came prepared. she sees the charging robot and takes aim and shoots a rocket at it.
eat this tin man!

The robot takes the rocket head on, the explosion damages a pillar making the whole building shake. When the smoke clears and the robot becomes visible again it is half destroyed, one arm and it's side destroyed. The robot staggers toward Jeannie still trying to attack her. Cebra gets back up the would fully healed and looks at Jeannie with glare.

"You have a rocket launcher? geez warn a guy before you bring out a big thing like that on a first date".

Cebra glances at her ass as he walks up behind her grabbing the metal from another car and making a rifle. Taking aim at the robot Cebra fires off five armour piercing rounds that shred it's other arm off.

"finish him"

well it's always good to be prepared. and Mr.
boom boom always gets the job done. who's a good little weapon of mass destruction. you are Jeannie hugs the rocket launcher playfully before blasting the robot in the face with another rocket finishing it off.

yay victory is ours! Jeannie jumps up and down excited. then looks at Cebra confused by his comment date? no that won't work I'm gay.so your kinda not my type, we can be friends though.huh right wonder if the hacker guy sent the robot. I must be on the right track to finding him.

wonder where to look next. maybe I can find a clue on the robo that might need me to where it came from.

"hm gay?... my loss I suppose"

Cebra says as he walks over to the destroyed robot picking through it's husk. He pulls the head off as a wire comes out of his wrist made of the same liquid metal as before. It connects to the robots head and Cebra starts downloading

"hmm...fascinating... really now?"

He mutters to himself as the data passes before his eyes

"So you're looking for a hacker are you? Jeannie Jeannie Jeannie, seems Orion sent you on a suicide mission"

yeah that's what all the guys say when they find out. she smiles and watches him examine the robotso Mr. analyst what's your expert opinion.any idea where the terminator came from?

yeah they hired me to find out who's been stealing files on their computers. suicide mission, think so? wonder why they'd do that I mean sure they wouldn't have to pay me then. but you'd think they'd wait till I caught the hacker first. still seems kinda bad business to kill people you hire off and a little harsh if they don't want to pay me a lot we could. negotiate the price a bit.

"Well this robot was sent to plant an explosive device on your car, his orders we're to observe you and wait until you had me... er the hacker captured then try and kill us both."

Cebra tosses the head away after getting the data from it and leans back against a car deep in thought

"So many things that need doing today... but I guess the first is to deal with you, no point hiding it. I'm the one you're looking for blondie. I'm the hacker working against Orion... So now that you know, will you try and take me in? I cant say I'll go quietly. You'll also find I'm harder than your average prey to defeat, but there's another way. I can get you your pay and at the same time strike back at the corrupt bastards at Orion... What do you say?"

yay I solved the puzzle I thought it was you! Jeannie smiles excited she solved another case. she then made a sad face realizing her new friend was the guy she was after.
she thinks about his offer, somewhat annoyed it appeared she had been tricked.


yeah you do seem pretty interesting what are you a cyborg or something? well, they did try to kill me, try to get out of paying me and your nice and promise to pay me. so yeah new deal with you sounds better.

so is this Orion place bad? you seem like a good guy so that would make them bad guys right? why are you hacking them?huh, need to really remember to do better background checks before taking jobs sometimes.thank you for not letting me blow up that could have hurt. she gives him a hug.

right so I'm Jeannie, what's your name new boss robot guy?

"Well yes NEA-71 Hephaestus class cyborg at your service, I'll make sure you get what you're owed. As for Orion well they're a private military corporation and as corrupt as one can be. I can't tell you the numerous horrible things they've done... they made me... well at any rate they're certainly 'bad'"

Cebra hugs her back feeling a bit awkward

"Uh yeah... my name is Cebra, Cebra Ulkenne. The public addresses me as the blacksmith for obvious reasons I guess... You know I dont normally ally myself with other people but you seem alright."

oh Hephaestus like the god cause you make stuff. neat so your like a Terminator and their Skynet right so we'll kick their butts before they start the robot apocalypse then

Jeannie smiles when he hugs her back and says she's alright Cebra huh I like that. so whats the plan? I think getting out of the building belonging to people that want to kill us is a good start.

"Yeah security has probably already contacted the police by now, we should get out of here. I have an apartment just west of here , we can sort through the data I acquired and come up with some sort of idea to hurt Orion."

Cebra destroys the sword and rifle he was carrying as well as the rest of the robot. He walks over to a Harley and starts the engine, it roars to life as Cebra hops on.

"Follow me, it's quite a long drive away"

ok then. oh, you like motorcycles too? I got one kinda like that. only problems no truck space so need to rent a car if I think I'll need a lot of stuff. you alchemy stuff most be convent seen you can just make stuff when you need it.

she makes sure her rocket launcher tucked away safely in the trunk don't want it accidentally then hops in and starts it up ready to play follow the leader.

"I have my limitations of course, I can only create things I have the instructions for. But I have to say it does come in handy quite a lot, like this one time I was with this artist chick and... uh never mind. That's a story for another time."

Cebra puts on his shades and drives out motorcycle roaring the whole way. He waits at the exit for Jeannie still sorting through data as he drives.

"I'll have to keep an eye on her"

Cebra mutters to himself.

oh ok then so after a nice little drive they get to where they were going.

so now what do we do? does it involve food?all that escaping from killer robots made me hungry

Cebra points to the fridge as he sit down on the couch in front of the T.V and turns on the news

"Help yourself sugar, I think there's leftover Thai food in there. I dont eat much actually but I bought that last night, all I have to drink is beer or scotch."

umm yay Thai foods yummy Jeannie grabs the food then looks at the drink optionshuh which one is better? I don't drink stuff like that much. or do you stick them together like chocolate and milk?
