Old Burgers and New Friends (Runaways)

At a McDonalds, 1:00 AM

The skeleton crew during the wee hours of the morning scarcely notice much in their 24 hour store. The only customers at this hour were cops, and young kids who couldn't get up to trouble because of said cops. A quartet of policemen were having Coffee and apple pie in one corner, while a bunch of teenagers were loudly talking about teenagers stuff, while scarfing down burgers, fries and soda.

Least of all would they notice a shapeshifter who assumed the face of a young crew member and began bagging some burgers marked for disposal. "Can't believe they throw these away."

Her hat had a low opinion of this thievery. "...Hmph. Think she'd use her powers for something more productive..."

"Throwing them outside? Good, remember to lock the dumpster so homeless people can't get to that food and sue us." The manager patted Dabs on the shoulder, while holding a phone in one hand and her attention on the person she was on the phone with.

"Yessir, mister big manager sir!" Dabbler replied, almost freaking out for a second. Once she bagged the old burgers and fries she'd find a nice place to eat them, and no one would be the wiser. The manager looked at Dabs for a second when she replied so enthusiastically. "Ugh, they'll hire anyone these days."
