This Feels Like a Cliche Murder Mystery

"ROooaaadtriiiiip!" Dabbler cheers as they would drive off towards the morgue. Of course, Dabbler was easily distracted by the sights in London and requested to stop and look half a dozen times. But, eventually they'd get there.

She looked around the parking lot and saw a tired, middle-aged blonde nurse leaving. The lady was rightfully distracted by talking on the phone. Dabbler poofed just around the corner and out of sight, snuck up and took her I.D.

She returns to Nadia and Jeannie. Dabbler then started... uh, kneading her face and in a few moments she now looked like the nurse, and her outfit as well. "Hehehehe." Dabbler laughed, her squeaky gremlin voice turning into the nurse's tired tone. "I'll get us in... but you take the lead." She said to Nadia.

Nadia blasted the radio while they skidded down the backwards streets of London, singing half heartedly along to the radio the entire time. She didn't have a bad voice, but she was so obnoxiously loud that nearly everyone at the stop lights gave her weird looks.

When they pulled into the parking lot, Nadia watched Dabbler work her magic. A smile bled onto her face in fascination. "Hella cool," she mumbled under her breath.

With a nod, Nadia ducked out of the car and turned to Jeannie. "How good is your impression of a concerned girlfriend?" Nadia fished a knife out from the sheath in her boot and with a deep breath, made a nasty gash across her stomach. "This is suitable enough to get you into a hospital quickly, right?"

She shakily placed a hand to the wound and gestured with her head. "C'mon, let's go."

Jeannie watches as dabbler transformedneat I wish I could make disguise that good,and fly or at least summon pillows so I had something softer to land on. you need to teach me some of that when we're done with this,oh and the bunny in the hat thing I love bunnies Jeannie's amusement with dabblers magic is interrupted by Nadia cutting herself Jeannie panics before Nadia mentions wanting her to play a concerned girlfriend oh so that's how they're getting in while dabbler is the nurse.

eww gross why'd you do that!!!!your all bleeding and stuff. you shouldn't do that you don't go back together when your cut like I do,I don't want you to die, well lucky where at a hospital,I dated a few nurses so I can patch you up while dabbler pokes the dead guys,

or we could let the professionals do it ,that way we can distract them so dabbler can do here thing.plus I'm pretty sure they'd fix you better so maybe we should do that. you really should warn me before cutting yourself,I'm a great actress I did plays in school.one concerned girlfriend coming up.

right then Jeannie goes into her act causing a commotion crying and screaming she gets beside Nadia and puts Nadia's arm not over her wound over her shoulder to help her walk. it adds to the act and helps if Nadia accidently over did it and really does get woozy from blood loss.

helllppp ,we need a doctor ,she's really hurt .don't die on me sweety I don't' know what I'd do with out.carfully you don't want drop you spleen or something,oh my gosh nurse do something,like get her a really big band-aid
so on with operation break into the hospital and talk to the dead guy.

The sight of blood distracts the witch. She dabs her finger in the blood and tastes it like it was some kind of chocolate."yummmm..." Dabbler looked at the hospital and her dress.

"Oh right. Come on!" Dabbler focused on the task at hand.

The Emergency Room staff looked at the distressed couple and Dabbler. "Megan? I thought you left?"

"Hey, I've got a couple of friends who need to get patched up." Megan-Dabbler coolly informs the E.R. nurse.

"Okay we'll take it from here. Is that blood on your shirt?" The attendant looked at Megan-Dabbler curiously, some of Nadia's blood on her shirt.

"Uhhh no? Thanks." Megan-Dabbler heads to the elevators down to the morgue, no one the wiser. With most of the doors having viewing ports, poofing into the body storage was a breeze.

She wonders what she'll find... ooh shiny tables! Dabbler makes faces, before realizing what she was there for.

Nadia shakes her head at Jeannie's fussing. "Ah'll be fine. Ah've got healin' spells for this type of stuff." While Nadia was pretty sure she'd be fine, it still hurt like hell. She leaned slightly into Jeannie.

"Hey!" Nadia complained. She swatted lightly at Dabbler with her free hand. "No touchin'!"

As they made their way into the hospital, Nadia let a bit of pain onto her face, acting along with her temporary girlfriend. The nurse hurriedly rushes them into a room, consequently sharing the same hallway as the elevator.

"Here, I'm going to give you something for the pain, but I have to go fetch the doctor," The nurse gives her a bit of pain medication and Nadia sighs happily as it ebbs away. The nurse smiles at them, "I'll return quickly with the doctor, keep applying pressure to that wound," she shuffles out of the room.

Nadia turns to Jeannie, "Well, ah guess we've gotta catch up with teammate number three."


In the morgue, the lights are dim. It smells like death and a liberal amount of hand sanitizer, which surprisingly doesn't smell as bad as it seems it should. The bodies that they needed were on the far right, however, the doors they were stashed behind were locked. Unsurprisingly.

Jeannie is relieved Nadia is ok,that's good,wonder if it's ok to just walk out of the emergency roomjeannie wonders if the doctors will be surprised with their quick exit oh well guess they'll just think they did really good and got Nadia better quick. so they make their way to the morgue where nurse dabbler was waiting.

Ewww grosses dead guys are stinky,sometimes having super senses can suck Jeannie thinks rubbing her nose.she then smiles when the doors they need in are lockedyay my turn to be useful she looks through her purse finding her lock picks then goes about opening the doors.open says Jeannie,ok some buddy order a smelly stiff
she then waits to see what happens next curious with what kinda magic trick dabbler will do

Dabbler was still messing around with the shiny tables and aluminum trays, and picking her nose in front of a mirror until Jeannie arrived. "Oh right!" Dabbler remembered exactly what she was there for.

She begins opening the morgue's body storages, looking over each body. "no. No. NO. Definitely no." She didn't bother asking for the victim's names or remember their faces, so she just inspects them all until she finds one that smelled of dark magic.

Of course, Dabbler being Dabbler, she inspects the knife wounds with her snakey tongue. She makes a revolted face. "Blegh This is totally bad news. They're totally trying to summon Yog."

Jeannie watches dabbler go to work having never seen someone check zombies for dark magic she finds this very interesting.

eww gross it's bad enough you got touch um but taste them,glad you're doing it bet zombies taste awful probably like spoiled meat I'd guess. Jeannie then giggles amused by the funny face dabbler made. she the jumps up and down excited when dabbler says what she found.

yay a yog,we get to see a yog...what's a yog?

"Mmm Mhmmm hhhMmmmhhmmm!" Dabbler mumbled, crossing her four arms in disapproval. "Yog is bad news. Bad bad bad  bad bad bad baaaaaaad news!" She said exasperatingly.

"...If everyone's crazy like me, how can I be special?! We gotta tell the other witch." Dabbler headed for the door to leave the morgue, despite all the bodies still being out and exposed. Nobody said she was a neat person.

Jeannie tries to count many times a yog is bad. after running out of fingers she decides it most be very bad whatever it was. She then notices dabbler taking off.

hey waits for me it's creepy and smells like old eggs in here. and that one's looking at me funnyshe Jeannie hurries off after her not wanting to stay in the morgue anymore then she had too.

what about everyone being crazy?

"Yog?" Nadia questions, running her bloodied hand over her wound. She shakily drew a small sigil and sighed as the wound started to heal.

Nadia watches Dabbler flit around the morgue from the doorway. She's leaned against it, with an apprehensive look on her face. "No need, ah'm right here, but yeah. Let's get away from the rottin' dead corpses." Nadia gestures with her head and leads the way back.

Jeannie watches Nadia heal herself amusedyou have magic doodles? neat so what's a yog look like? beat it's really creepy with scary eyes and big fangs

Jeannie pretends to be a monster stumbling and growingmost be pretty scary cause I ran out of fingers and had to use my toes to count how bad dabbler said it was.

hope it doesn't smell as bad as these guys,I've had enough stinky for one day,have to get some scented candles to get dead guy smell out.

Dabbler, deciding their little investigation was concluded, tosses Megan's ID card out in the hallway. "Yog is... not a thing, but THE thing. Not pleasant. Not enough room on the planet if he wants to come here."

An orderly sees them in the morgue hallway as Megan's ID was discarded, as Dabbler was mid-morph. "Wait what... Megan? Who are you?! What are you doing here!?" He said in a sudden panic.

"Whoops! Exit stage right!" Dabbler grabs her friends and teleports them to the hospital's parking lot, having a nice view from a window.

"Whew that was close. Now where do we go, other witch?" Dabbler cheekily asks Nadia, shaking her head like a dog until Dabbler was Dabbler again.

Nadia whistled, "Well that ain't good. I rather like this planet, it'd be a shame to see it go. Guess we gotta stop this thing then."

Nadia pushed out of the doorway and turned around as the orderly made his presence known behind her. "Uhh..." She said eloquently. She was so relieved when Dabbler teleport ed.

"Where should we go?" Nadia questioned. There were a few places they could visit, especially now that they knew what they were looking for. "Maybe I was looking for the wrong thing," she mumbles. Ah ha! That's it!

"To the museum!" Nadia exclaims, rushing over to the driver's seat of their liberated car. Her witches robes fluttering as she moved.

yeah no more plant is bad,I'd end up floating in space with no plant to be on, then I'd have to ride around on a moon rock or something well at least I wouldn't be hungry the moons made of cheese, after all,bet that's where moon pies come from. but it be lonely floating around in space.

let's turn this yog into yogurt and save the world then Jeannie follows a long listing to Nadia the museum what will we find there? I love the museums so much neat stuff to look at. think the statues come alive that be really cool

hey, can we stop at a MacDonald's on the way I'm hungry again. Jeannie wants cheesy burgers,a happy meal so i can get a toy and 4 or 5 big macs cause kiddy meals are small so they don't feel me up all the way.

Dabbler sat shotgun and buckled up. "I didn't see any Mcdonald's here. I did see Five Guys and Burger King though. Well I'm peckish too, the morgue got me hungry."

Dabbler looked forward to their evening more and more. Tons of snacks and places to visit, not to mention having to foil a summoning of Yog-Sothoth.
