What's a Planeteer? (Danny and Dabs)

"OoooH! Kidnapping? What a twist to the story! The good guys kidnapping!" It seemed the idea amused Dabbler more than anything else. However Danny seemed to object. Dabbler did not pay attention to the eggs yet.

"Well, you can't kidnap me... If I KIDNAP YOU FIRST! HAHAHAHAHAH!" Dabbler poofs onto Tsukumi's back and started putting her witch hat on her head, using her superior number of arms to try to hold her steady, but taking a few moments to realize she had not yet unlocked its power as a storage bin. "Won't fit... your... big...HEAD!"

"Where did she go?!" Tsukimi attempted to flail under the duress of her attacker, but her arms found themselves pinned to her body by multiple appendages. "Danny! Get her off!"

"Hey now! That's no way to prove you aren't evil!" Danny's bracelet came to life granting Danny a crowbar. Each arm looked frail enough, but the multitude perplexed Danny. Her first swipe took aim at Dabbler's hands holding the hat over Tsukimi's hands. If Tsukimi could see, hopefully she could get herself out- but Danny really could not hope to deal with the rest of the arms on her own.

"We're not kidnapping anymore! Now, you are under arrest." A few maneuvers allowed Tsukimi to liberate her duct tape, but her resistance to the arms still needed to be attested before Tsukimi could find her bearings in this fight.

"Suzy's right!" Danny summoned a bar to try and restrain Dabbler, but realized she could not do it without binding her to Tsukimi. "I tried to help you make your case, but we're going to have to arrest you. The duct tape might seem informal, but it's all pretty legit. We go to Standford."

"We're cheerleaders!" Tsukimi continued to flail pointlessly, her attempts bringing her no closer to escape.

"That doesn't help our case, but yeah, that is an accurate statement."

All that flailing around Tsukumi did was fun and games to Dabbler. "WHEEEEE! Ride em cowboy! giddyup!" She was not holding on, and thus thrown to the flatbed truck floor. After cackling in amusement she catches her breath.

"...I couldn't hold on to the fat one." She said, before offering her hands to be bound. Dabbler still thought the heroes doing the kidnapping would've been interesting.

Dabbler the did a little thought experiment. "Say. You think if we returned the eggs, the momma Roc would give us a ride? Maybe become our friend, come in our hour of need... rescue us from the slopes of an exploding volcano?"

Tsukimi flailed her arms out of the grip of Dabbler much to the assistance of Dabbler leaving her alone. Wasting no time, Tsukimi took to wrapping Dabbler's wrists and hands in duct tape, not letting up in the slightest. "Miranda says you have the right to remain silent. I have duct tape otherwise. She also says you can see a lawyer, otherwise we have to pay to get one for you. My half sister is rich and Danny's parents give her everything so-"

"Suzy, stop duct taping her. She's clearly some kind of weird witch thing. I'm pretty sure she would tape both of us up if she wanted to take us to South America. Oddly, it seems she's getting us to take her to South America." Danny checked her phone to clear her schedule. "I'm going to cancel our plans for a week. We have a test next week and we're not making the USC game."

"I wanted to go to that game." After Dabbler's hands disappeared behind a ball of duct tape, Tsukimi tossed the roll on the ground. "So, we have to go to South America? That's really big. Do we know where in South America or are we asking this thing?"

"That thing has a name." Danny peered over to Dabbler at a loss. "What is your name? Oh, and where are we going, and how are we getting there?"

"We need a change of clothes."

"And we need a change of clothes."

"Hrmrrm." Dabbler clears her throat to stand, taking a bow first. Her bound hands meant her hat simply fell off, instead of being taken off in a fancy manner.

"Scatter. Splatter. Mancer. Cancer. Handler. Chatter. Patter. Hatter. Dabber. Dapper. Dabbler!" Then she laughed, interspersed with snorts.

"I'm thinking we follow the address on the crates. Gee what kind of heroes are you anyway?" She said a bit condescendingly.

The full address was a town in the northern part of Brazil, near the great Amazon forest. Danny probably had one of those fancy smartphones to look it up.

"Anyway these eggs are pretty huge, I'll just put em away like this. PRESTO CHANGO!" Her hands occupied, Dabbler uses her one foot to open a portal below them, to store them away in the transit dimension. She then looks at Tsukumi with a smirk. "Now we can go to Brazil! We'll need her big butt to keep the eggs warm don'tcha think? HaaHAHAHAhaaa!"

The cackle from the little witch did very little to diffuse any confusion from her words. "My butt? Is large?"

"We have more important things to worry about. Wow, the address is right there." Danny opened her phone and took pictures of the scene before the eggs disappeared into a portal. "That's a pretty cool trick. I'm pretty sure I do not want to know where those portals lead."

"I'm pretty sure she tried to send me to one of those portals." The hat on the floor drew Tsukimi's immediate attention. "And, I do not have a large butt- nor am I pushing obesity."

"That is weird you would call Suzy out for being fat. I think she's way too skinny to be honest."

"I am fit. I jumped off an overpass onto a moving motorcycle. And, I am a better flyer than you. You are at best a-"

"Suzy, shut up for a little while, okay?"

The duo continued to bicker as they vacated the vehicle with the woman they took into custody. A quick cab ride took them to the hotel they booked as the base of operations, and Tsukimi's jacket allowed them to cover the fact they duct taped Dabbler's hands together. Clothing scattered across the room made the room look as though someone ransacked it, but the nonchalant looks from Danny and Tsukimi confirmed the coeds merely traveled in this manner. "We'll grab some clothes. Then, we can hop off to the Amazon and find those rocs. Is there anyway those portals can take us directly to South America?"

"I don't feel like this is a good idea." Tsukimi threw her pink shirt across the room and pulled a Standford T-shirt over her body. "I won't go into a portal."

"Suzy, don't make me force you into the portal. I don't think she is opposed to making you step through." Danny pulled out a few rolls of duct tape and pushed them in her satchel. "And, I'm not opposed to it either."

"Aw it's no big deal, I'm using the standard Astral Plane tunnel. It's quite nebulous and serene in there. I should build a resort there some day." A normal woman's voice escaped the gremlin's mouth for some reason, as she explained her portal power.

HOTEL

For the most part Dabbler thought being Kidnapped and taken to South America was more fun than going for steak and ice cream in Wisconsin. "Y'know some kidnappers usually stuff their victim in a trunk... push em around... blindfold em... Sometimes shout at them and threaten them with violence, sometimes going through with the violence, and maybe gag them with a piece of cloth in their mouth to make it really uncomfortable... and so they won't talk... Y'know especially if they're real chatterboxes, or might call for help..." Dabbler goes on and on about how other kidnappings go, though since these were good guys they weren't familiar.

Once they were considering new outfits, Dabbler had something to offer too. "Oh I just love that outfit." "Oh is that what girls wear nowadays?" "Oh is this the school you go to?"

Dabbler shook her head as she chewed on the dinner rolls she was having for a snack, while slurping um some tea with her long forked tongue. "No, you see, I have to see where I open a portal. Well. You could always mail one of my eyes to Brazil. I tell ya I ONCE WENT 6 MONTHS WITHOUT EM!" She grinned, though she wondered if her stories were believable.

"We know how to kidnap people." Tsukimi kept her face as straight as her hair as she escorted Dabbler in the building.

"We've dealt with kidnappers from both sides. Suzy got kidnapped by Alpha Jerk, and I got kidnapped with Dragon Girl once." Danny swiped them into the building.

"You also got kidnapped by Alpha Jerk."

"Don't remind me." Danny stepped in the hotel room and opened her suitcase.

"We go to Stanford. We don't gag people. It hurts with duct tape." Tsukimi disappeared to change into a pair of jeans while Danny flipped through her phone again.

"You need to see the place. Well, that could take a while unless me and Suzy go ahead and then- actually no, if we're just going to take a picture, we can just find an image of the Amazon to get us in the area. Let me Google the address and check images." No sure fire picture of a building came up. Instead, a number of pictures of the surrounding jungles all flooded the screen. If they wanted to get to the Amazon, they could, but there would be no telling just what part of it they would show up in. "I don't know why Suzy is changing into jeans. It's hot in the jungle Suzy! I'm wearing shorts!"

Dabbler looked at the pictures of the Amazon rainforest Danny supplied them with.

"I... I never opened a portal that far before. GIMME SOME SPACE!" She hopped off the bed and headed to the balcony.

Needing her eyes of chaos, Dabbler melts the duct tape around her hands. She does some finger stretches then holds them in Naruto-esque hand signs, the demon eyes in them opening fully to lend their heinous might. "MUMBO JUMBO MAGUMBO!" She intoned unnecessarily.

She opens a portal... at first it was like the one back at the truck, a calm, shimmering doorway. But as the power ramped up it began to act like a wormhole. Everything in the room was being sucked in.

"I HOPE YOU HAVE EVERYTHING YOU NEED WE'RE DOING THIS RIGHT NOOOOOOW! !"

Natalya the Red Tigress was not licked yet. She tracks the bullet she shot Dabbler with to a hotel. She arrived just in time to see a portal forming in mid air.

"What the heck is that?" She brought a friend dressed up as a Spartan, and another lady friend with lots of gems in a sailor-fuku all over her leotard and thigh high boots. Let's call them Spartan Steve and Magical Girl.

"Our target." Tigress grabs her two flunkies and ports them into the wormhole, just right before it closes.

AMAZON RAINFOREST

Closing one's eyes was acceptable when being shunted through a sub-dimensional space. Or you could look around and see galactic nebula and stuff. But it was only for a split second, as they were shunted to South America. With the eggs in the crates. Right over the river. about a hundred feet over it.

No, Dabbler did not have a flying broom or a parachute for the occasion. "BASKETBAAAAAAAAALL!" She screamed as the river was very quickly coming towards them. Joy quickly turned to panic when Dabbler realized something important. "OMIGOOOOSH I CAN'T SWIIIIIIIIM!"

All the necessities the girls would need fit nicely into one bag. Sun screen, some bottles of water, and two rolls of duct tape- just in case one ran out. The same pair of loose jeans Tsukimi took into the bathroom with her emerged on her body. "It's going to be hot." Danny threw the backpack over her shoulder, wearing a pair of black ahtletic shorts and a Our Lady of Perpetual Sorrow T-shirt.

"I don't like bugs. Or grass brushing against my legs." The portal opened, shimmering on Tsukimi's face. "We'll only be there for a minute anyways. How hard is it to find giant birds?"

"With who we're following? Probably pretty difficult." A weird world of wickedness awaited.

But, the heat made it so much worse. "I told you!" Danny picked her hair out of her face as she pulled it back into a ponytail. "Where did that little witch go? You don't think she dropped us out here on our own do you?"

The lack of an answer spoke loudly. Danny spun around in every direction before giving up. "Did we make it out in the right place? Suzy?!" Danny could make out footsteps nearby. "Suzy?"

It took Tsukimi less than three seconds to get out of the portal, access how hot it was, and then jump into the river to begin swimming to try and save Dabbler. The quickness of accessing the situation paled in comparison as to how quickly she closed the distance on Dabbler. "Don't jump in rivers if you can' swim. I don't feel like I should have to say that." With her arm wrapped around Dabbler's chest, Tsukimi began to swim towards the river bank.

From the high fall which Danny and Tsuki should also be part of, Dabbler hit the water with a loud splash. The slow moving current carried her along, though Tsukumi's swimming superpower would get her out of the water with no trouble. Except from the flailing witch, who still thought she was drowning.

"Help! Help! I'm drowning and a big fat sea monster's got me!" She tried to flail out of Tsukumi's grip.

She then looked around and saw Tsukumi. "I was sooooo scaaaared but you saaaved my liiiife. waaaahhh!" Embracing Tsukumi as tightly as four arms permitted, Dabbler cried crocodile tears of relief when she took a moment to see she was out of the water like, for the last couple of minutes now.

In the midst of Dabbler's sociopathic comedy, the egg-crates drifted by in the river, heading for the waterfalls.

"Oh... that's no good, no good at all."

Not far from where the heroes were, but certainly obscured by dense foliage, the posse of Red Tigress were recovering from the fall themselves. Dark Magical Girl had conjured marshmallows to break their falls. Spartan Steve was still wiping the gunk off his red cape and out of his greek helmet.

DMG, being a magical girl, floated gently to the jungle floor. "A bold move, following them through an unknown portal." Tigress wiped marshmallow out of her jacket. Considering it was the jungle, she ditches the leather and settles for just her crop top. "Spartan, aren't you hot in that?" She asked the fully armored man.

"...No. Which way, Tigress?" He'd shrug off this heat with stoicism and heavy sweating.

"They're about 200 meters that way, close to the river. I've called some friends in the region. they'll be coming to help us. Let's go." The trio were off, in search of their quarry.

"Suzy!" Danny combed the sides of the river, looking for her lost friend. Maybe the little witch really could not be trusted. "Witch girl!" Maybe Tsukimi stayed behind- or was teleported somewhere else. "Anyone here?!" Walking away from the flow of the river, Danny moved closer towards Tigress and her clique.

"Stop-calling-me-fat-" Tsukimi held Dabbler close as she dragged her on the bank. Even though Tsukimi dropped her to the ground minutes ago, the girl still flailed and carried on with a flair for dramatics. "I don't know if you are mocking me or actually crazy, but this behavior is unbecoming of a witch. I think."

It only took one gasp of air from Dabbler to shake Tsukimi back into the moment. "I have a plan. Danny, fix this." No answer came. The worst kind of answer. "Witch, make a portal and teleport the crates to dry land! Or make a portal on the ground that moves to where the crates are and I'll grab them and pull them back." Jumping in and swimming grew more out of the question with every passing second, but an immediate action needed to materialize before those eggs splattered on the ground. "I think interdimensional travel should be easy, so just make it happen so I can-"

"Got em." Turquoise netting pulled the trio of eggs back towards the bank. "Now, stop talking about interdimensional whatever like it can be accurate. She dropped us one hundred feet over a river. Luckily one of those dumb ideas made the other dumb idea less fatal. Also, I saved the eggs, booyah. I get the top bunk from now on Suzy."

"I was going to risk my life- and probably other things- going through a portal to save them. It's the thought that counts Mongoose."

"Maybe your thoughts can tell you how cool I look sitting here with three eggs then."

As Danny and Tsukimi continued their bragging, their voices grew higher and louder, echoing through the trees.

"So these three are the ones who stopped your convoy? They're just kids." The Spartan and the two ladies were sneaking about in the bushes, eyeing their loud targets.

"One of them has a tracker round in their gut and is acting like nothing. The other two got some fight in them." Tigress retorted.

Dark Magical Girl simply glittered.

Tigress says hello by tossing a flashbang in their midst. The metal canister rolled inconspicuously to their feet.

She was more interested in protecting her investment, and she was already incurring losses for having to explain that the eggs had returned to Brazil. She turns away and covers her ears for the inenvitable flash and bang...

"She keeps calling me fat!" Tsukimi pushed her finger away from Danny and closer to Dabbler. "I do not know if I am mad because of the insult or because of how little sense it makes."

"Suzy, we're arguing about the eggs. Can you focus on-"

"It's because it does not make sense. I do not care for such trivial pursuits as body image. Which does not concern me, and if taken into account, others would say I have a fine projection of to the world."

"That was the most rambling way of pushing forth a shallow account of 'I got a good body' I've ever heard. Let's work on things that are important now. Eggs." Both of Danny's hands pulled focus back to the eggs. "Be more concerned about being good at your job, which you mostly are-"

"Mostly? Mongoose, I can read people like a book left to right and right to left." Whatever odd spectacle Dabbler decided to take upon herself passed by Tsukimi. "I can spot holes in stories so quickly you would assume I am an entire board on IMDB." The gap between Tsukimi and Danny closed, bringing the partners into the formation of a vase through profile. "I can spot a needle in a haystack when the haystack is hidden in a movie vying desperately to get a award nomination to compensate for the fact no one wants to watch it based on actors, story, or director. I can-"

The silence of the environment invaded the audacity of the conversation. A ringing throbbed through both Tsukimi and Danny's ears as the two hit the ground next to each other incapacitated. While Danny grabbed at her ears, pressing with due force to try and restore the balance of pressure within her ears, Tsukimi's head hit the ground with her eyes falling dormant behind closed lids. Danny pushed one knee to the ground, lifting her position to have her face the ground. She stumbled on the lift, planting back to the ground, unable to lift herself in defense.

The terrible trio approached their victims, two surprised and one disappointed at the ease to which they fell to the mundane weapon. Dark Magical Girl had a magical, portable hole of her own to stow the eggs in, making their transportation a non-issue.

"I expected more..." Spartan Steve said, disappointed at the lack of resistance. He helps Tigress tie up the three girls who were deafened and blinded. Dabbler though, was cackling even as she joined Danny and Tsukumi on the ground.

Dabbler speaking to them caught them quite off guard. "Was that some kind of firecracker?! Wow lady, how'd you follow us all the way here?"

"I shot you with a bullet that could be tracked. Wait! You... you're unaffected?" Tigress, starting to think the Witch girl was playing a ruse, was quick to draw her gun and aimed at her.

"Well, MY CORNEAS ARE ON FIRE AND MY EARS ARE RINGING, I CAN BARELY HEAR YOUR VOICE BUT IT'S NOTHING I'M NOT USED TO." Dabbler She paused, considering her abdomen with one of her arms. "OH THAT'S WHY MY LIVER STILL FEELS FUNNY."

Tigress considered her options, as well as their location. This was too close to where they found the eggs. "Spartan, slit her throat."

"WHAT NO! I HAVEN'T SEEN THE ROC YET!" Dabbler protested, as the Spartan picked her up and brought his knife to bare.

Not a good idea. Dabbler demonstrates her teeth sharpness was not for cosmetic purposes only.

"AAGHHH MY HAAAND! WITCH ALMOST CHEWED OFF MY HAND!" Steve was kind enough to exposition, clutching a bleeding hand. He cut Dabbler across the face to get her teeth off what was left of his hand.

"WATCHA LOOKIN AT HUH?! I'LL EAT ALL YOUR FINGERS! THEN I'LL SUCK ON YOUR EYEBALL JUICE! THEN I'LL DINE ON YOUR LIVER WITH FAVA BEANS AND A NICE CHIANTI!" Dabbler threatened, as half her face was now bleeding and one eye was cut closed. The cut was deep, reaching down to the bone.

Red Tigress now decided the Witch was a threat too great to ignore. Screw the Rocs. She took aim with her massive revolver, but shot only at residual teleportation fart.

Dabbler took her newfound friends away. The Tigress might have superior range, but even she would have to struggle finding them in a nearby abandoned logging village, which was attacked recently by an angry Roc mom via giant boulders from the sky.

"Ugh. Fan out and look for them! kill the witch. The other two we can sell, and salvage our losses." Tigress followed behind, but the large village proved an ideal place to play a deadly game of hide and seek. Spartan and DMG fanned out, searching the crushed buildings.

"What do I do what do I do..." Dabbler freaked out to herself. These people meant business. She looked at the girls she rescued... and decided the remedy to temporary blindness/deafness was CPR. That was the right action, right? She blew as hard as she could into whose-it's face, while bleeding all over her nice shirt.

Up the Mountain, an angry Roc mom hears familiar gunfire. She takes wing and starts to descend on the village she had previously smooshed.

The light from the sun disappeared behind the spectacle of a giant man. Danny retained enough of her mind to feel the ground moving underneath her. Through the duress of the ever present ringing, Danny could almost make out the sting of an insult. Then she felt the ground greet her as the massive man dropped her to the ground. "...My head..."

Ropes wrapped around Danny's wrists, arms, and legs, forcing her to deal with the splitting headache without the assistance of her hands. "...Hey. Suzy?"

"...hmmm?..." A muttered response came from behind Danny as Tsukimi dropped the back of her head on Danny's shoulder. "...what happened?"

"Someone tied us up." Danny tried her luck against the ropes, but failed in her initial struggle. "Doesn't look good..."

"...Imma take a nap..." Tsukimi slumped over while Danny tried her luck again. She felt her luck turn as Dabbler slumped on the ground next to her under the same circumstances, but Danny had no idea if that changed her luck for better or worse.

The exchange grew heated, even sparking a look of intrigue from Tsukimi, whom only seconds ago just wanted to take a nap. Danny tried to wiggle herself and Tsukimi from the plight, but felt the heat of the moment cast too many eyes upon them.

Once the revolver sparked the fever pitch, Danny felt her support from Tsukimi vanish. Literally. Laying on her back with every part of her body bound, Danny looked to the trio around her. "Just to set the record straight, I don't really like that witch either, but found out you can still deal with her without threatening death. Me and Suzy technically kidnapped her and it went well for us."

A hard breeze carried a vile stench. "Blood in the wind! Death!" Tsukimi shot up, headbutting Dabbler in her ascension. "You're getting blood on me! And, I'm still tied up. You don't still have those kidnapping ideas do you?" The rush of blood invigorated Tsukimi past the unpleasantness of the flashbang, but she could still taste metal on her tongue. And, a burning feeling in her eyes. And, her ears continued to ring, forcing her speech to be far louder than intended. "Where's Danny?" Tsukimi struggled to try and free her hands, but could only manage to display an ineptitude. "And how did those people follow us?"
