The Greatest Show on Earth

The Greatest Show on Earth is a topic for 2-3 characters who will face off against the Carnival of Crime - an eccentric collection of deranged robbers and dangerous maniacs united under a circus motif. The action takes place in down Los Angeles during the middle of the day.

The topic is conflict-heavy, with heroes attempting to rescue hostages, foil a robbery and generally defeat the Carnival. Player creativity is welcome, but things will be fast-paced as the scene is ready to explode: Both the Carnival and the LAPD are getting ready to act, and if heroes don’t intervene things could get very messy.

Ideal characters would be lower-power crimefighters or vigilantes who are native to - or happen to be passing through - Los Angeles. While the Carnival of Crime has a handful of heavies with strange powers, they are primarily a gang of well-trained mooks who try to outnumber most heroes.

The Greatest Show on Earth will be somewhere between a short and medium-length topic. There will be opportunities for characters to interact with the press, the LAPD and each-other, but the defeat (or escape!) of the Carnival will signal the topic winding down to a close.

What are they stealing?

Princess Diana Mendoza, aka Ronin, is lower-power crimefighter or vigilante who is native to Los Angeles at the moment.

Calling her Princess is enough to Trigger her.

Jeannie cam help she has experience dealing with evil clowns:D
is a bounty hunter which think would qualify her as a vigilante .
is a traveler that doesn't really stay in one place and tends to just happen to pace though places when they need a hero.
what is your idea of lower-power crimefighters? I think she'd qualify if you mean not superman power level she's more daredevil spiderman level

Daredevil and Spider-Man would be a good fit! Basically someone who could fight a crowd of criminals and maybe some one-trick metahumans but without overpowering them, so the baddies would have an opportunity to fight back or complicate the scene before getting defeated.

Shard has macro and microkinesis along with an extrasensory power over silicon. She'd probably be too powerful to fight regular mooks (plus she'd probably just kite anyone who's trying to fight her in melee) so if you want I can have her arrive and stay on standbye in case things go south.

I could probably do something with one of the Jardin siblings:

1) Cory, aka "The Grey", a thief/ninja with power-enhanced dexterity and agility. I've been looking for an opportunity to exercise his "enforcer" persona. He is incline to save hostages but he may end up nabbing some cash on his way out the door...

2) Sarah on the other hand, is completely normal (apparently) who works for a multi-national Agency dedicated to managing the meta-human crisis. She is not as biased against metas as some other Agents, considering she is likely a "carrier" but she might still get assigned due to the involvement of metahumans on both sides...

Their fighting styles are similar but if you have a preferance, feel free to mention it here or via PM.

He may not be a vigilante but sure looks like one. Maybe there could be a mix up with the data. If so I put Tyler forward for this game of fun.
