Oh what an early day indeed. (Thor) Empty Oh what an early day indeed. (Thor)

Post by The Perfect Sandwich October 5th 2015, 10:43 pm

It was early in the morning and everyone seemed to not be out. They all were scurrying around getting there belongings together. Coronel was looking around as he seen the commotion through the windows of family moving through there house. He looked back at a phone he had in his pocket and examined the time and date. Maybe it was to early in the morning for him to be out. But he could not possibly stay cooped in a small box or apartment for long. As he stuck the phone in his pocket, he would go on to how he could get attention, but nothing came into mind. He walked around for a while seeing people exit there homes and get into vehicles to head for work or school.

This was boring he had nothing to do, and time seemed to be passing by a bit faster. He turned the corner seeing a rolling truck that had set up shop. It sold danishes, coffee, muffins, and bread; yet was rather convenient for him to be there at the time. As he grabbed a muffin and some coffee from the guys back, he would turn to feel as if someone touched him. The guy looked around his shop feeling as if someone was there with him, but he was slow and Coronel had already made off with what he wanted. He began to walk around with his food. Taking a sip of coffee it seemed extremely bitter and disregarded the taste and threw it to the side. Well the muffin would be enough to satisfy him for now.

He would progress down the sidewalk and come back around to the houses unknowing of how to spice up his time. With luck it came to him; a bird was flying over and something popped in his head. It would make him grin a bit as well.

As he turned to his right; he would progress into a house ridding it of the people who were still there. It would be a little fun doing this but hopefully it would be an eye opener to the media. As his hands were slung to his side he started making the house shake. Slowly it rose above the ground and stated hanging from mid air. Perfect and floating house and no one in the city who can stop him. Why must the army be so weak. Great question, why was the army so weak that they have no come up with a way to fight meta humans and respond to scenes faster. One mystery after another, but he could hear people out side growing in panic.

As he put his arms down the house began to seem as if it floated on its own. It looked like it was free of Coronel's grasp, but he was the one in control and made its decisions for it. He would move it higher and make it go to about the height of 30 or 40 meters up. He still needed to see the people and watch the screens to see when he would come onto the news.

A few minutes later he could hear the engines of a helicopter roaring in the background. As he turned to look he could see the image of the helicopter thanks to the reflection on the glass of the building he was next to. As it came into view he could see the helicopter and what was on its side. He read channel 9 and smiled as he swung his arm cutting through the tail of the helicopter sending it is a spiral collision for the ground. Oh what an early day indeed.

Oh what an early day indeed. (Thor) Empty Re: Oh what an early day indeed. (Thor)

There was always something going on, always some anomaly that needed taken care of. Sometimes it was benign, even enjoyable, other times it was more malevolent and something that needed some serious attention. Today Rozmer was unsure just which of the two he'd be dealing with as he looked to the Atlanta skyline. There in the center of it all was a house, floating like some sort of brick and mortar airship over the streets of the city.

Now Rozmer had seen his far share of odd things in his existence, thankfully though this world was mostly fear of the truly bizarre. That however didn't make this current situation disinteresting. Then the whole thing took a turn for the worse. A news chopper, attempting to get a better look at the flying domicile was struck by some invisible force and had its tail ripped off. Well, somebody's angry he thought as he appeared at a nearby organic food market. He would purchase a single carrot, the green leafy stalk still attached. With carrot in hand, he'd head into a secluded alley. Briefly ensuring that no one around was watching him, Rozmer would disappear and simultaneously reappear inside the kitchen of the flying house. Once inside he'd take a quick look around. At the very least this room appeared to be empty. Perhaps the house had gain sentience and powers of its own. It wasn't a completely irrational thing to think, though far more likely was that there was a metahuman to blame for this.

Carrot in hand Rozmer woudl then make his way to the living room, finding the slaughtered bodies of a typical suburban family. I'm sure that wasn't exactly necessary he thought dryly as he turned to face the front entrance. Standing there by the front door was a man in along black coat with, grey-white hair. Without a doubt this was the man responsible for this strange situation. So without hesitation Rozmer would lean against the wall between the front door and the living room, bringing the carrot to his mouth. Hey he'd interject at the man the man before chomping the tip off the carrot and chewing a few times. What's up doc? he'd continue, bits of partially chewed carrot still in his mouth as he spoke.

As he was making the house float it seemed like he was growing bored, but didn't know what to do and looked back at the bodies of the people on the floor. I He would think about killing except with a twist. As he stood back on the front porch, he felt as if he should spice things up sooner. "A few more seconds" he thought as he looked at the clouds and the incoming upcoming buildings.

Soon he heard a voice, and it was a bit odd. Nothing was behind him, but it was not new for someone to be able to mask their presence. He turned in wonder with the look of surprise on his face. I'm doing just fine, but mind telling me how you're keeping the house in the air? Neat trick and all, but I think you should return it to where it laid. As he spoke to the man asking his questions, he would try and probably succeed in striking a question in the guys mind.

He walked around in aw as he looked over the edge seeing the people on the ground get smaller. He would knock on the raised ground to see if it would crumble, but it would stay solid and he knew this. He would only try his part in confusion. He raised a hand forming a ball of fire letting its intense he burn at the air, but in small parts to seem as no threat to the guy in front of him. Crazy thought maybe I should blow it up and destroy the chunks as it fell, but would I be in time? The ball of fire grew bigger as he pushed gasses into the sphere and made it grow more intense. It would only appear as fire manipulation.

This man was clearly off his rocker. Moments after appearing, he was already trying to shift the blame of the floating house on to himself. Who did he think he was fooling? Rozmer could only laugh at the accusation, taking another bite of his carrot before tossing it aside. Listen if you're trying to rabbit season, duck season me that's not gonna fly. He moved closer to the man, phasing himself in preparation of a potential violent act from the man. But there was no immediate act against him. Instead the crazy person was threatening the entire house, the same one he had just tried to bargain for. What was his goal? What did he gain from hijacking a house and then blowing it up?

Sir Rozmer would start, producing a pack of cigarettes from his shirt pocket and pulling out a single cigarette. I have honestly no idea what you're doing. He'd teleport quickly, his arm extended out so that the tip of the cigarette would just barely touch the ball of fire, lighting it for him before he would reappear in the same spot in front of Colonel. Taking a long drag of it he would exhale a small cloud of smoke into the room. You mind explaining what the hell's going on here before I just decide to kick your ass for being stupid?

He looked at the man who was apparently not fighting him just yet so he sort of caught his bluff, but he decided to not give the patience to keep shifting the blame and have him confused. It was a little fun, but it was all too boring unless something more destructive happened.

Well I was going to do 20 questions, but oh well. You can't flool everyone, but does not mean you can beat them. His ball of fire ceased growing and the house stopped in place. It was time for him to fight since he longed for death. Now was the time to attack while he was busy talking and smoking.

He would throw the fire ball at the man. It expanded rather quickly and produced heat that made grass hit its flash point. He then swiped his other hand sending the house into a large building. He grinned as he flew over to the next tallest structure. As he turned to face the man again; he placed down his hands making a thin layer of the roof turn into gasoline. It would begin to seep into the concrete and the fumes would rise. Now all he needed to do was wait and he would set it a blaze with one quick snap.
