The Looks
   

Years of training have sculpted Joseph's body, making him muscular and lean. He looks very much like Muhammad Ali in bodily appearance with lean arms and legs and well defined muscles. He is tall, at a height of 6'2 1/2", and might still be growing as he has yet to reach full physical maturity. He has black wiry hair that is thick and partially curly because his mother and father's unique combination. Resembling his father mostly, he has a prominent forehead, a big and slightly pointy nose, a well-defined chin, and overall oblong shaped head. His eyes are a deep shade of brown, almost black in appearance, and are big and expressive. He also possesses a delightful and heartwarming smile. Having oily skin mostly adapted to humid climates, drier climates dry and damage his skin and complexion quickly.

Joseph wears a highly colorful and conspicuous wardrobe of mostly comfortable clothing such as shorts and button-up shirts when applicable, mostly earthy in appearance. He dresses in a stylish fashion, in his own way, despite lacking in long pants on most occasions. He tends more towards sandals as well and prefers sandals capable of allowing a great deal of activities. When going out for any considerable amount of time, he dresses in a way in which his movement will be unrestricted, and often times it is simple yet efficient in appearance.


 
The Legacy
   


Personality:
A seemingly more relaxed and carefree person than he actually is, Jopo is highly compassionate and laid back. He was raised with a strong sense of justice and stands by his idealistic principles. He is intolerant of injustices and cruelty, often seeing selfishness and greed as the worst traits in humanity. On the list of dislikes, extreme ignorance is high. While not exactly moderate, Jopo prefers to be fair and is often a very kind man. The only time he is ever serious is when he's fighting. He changes into a completely different person when faced with aggression. However, he is still merciful and very rarely finds it necessary to kill his opponents in a fight. While a little weird and too light-hearted, he is a fair man and can be serious when he needs to be.

The Powers and Weaknesses
   

Powers

The Fierce Light: After an unfortunate incident in which Joseph was beaten by a criminal syndicate known as "The Black Hand," Joseph was endowed with the power of "The Fierce Light," a force that boxers able to tap into when knocked down. Joseph's incredible heart allows him to tap into its full power of it to allow him to become "The Blue Brawler." The Fierce Light enhances Joseph's physical capabilities to make his boxing skills far greater than any boxer in the history of the sport.

  • His strength is great enough to allow him to lift 3 tons, easily break a human jaw with a single jab, and punch through concrete walls.
  • His endurance is such that he can fight for hours before beginning to tire and sustain fighting condition even through severe damage.
  • Both his speed and reflexes have been enhanced to the point that Joseph is capable of dodging bullets merely by seeing where the gun is aiming, and running at speeds of 75 mph.
  • His dexterity is also such that his muscle coordination allows him to tight rope walk with ease and he is capable of great flexibility, thus the efficiency of his movement is superhuman.
  • His natural toughness is also greatly enhanced making Joseph capable of sustaining blows that can easily kill a human being. He has been hit by a speeding car without any apparent damage. His arms have had the greatest durability increase, notably capable of stopping bullets, and the durability extends from his fingertips all the way to his shoulder joints.


Weakness(es)

Aggravated Damage: Piercing weapons like knives or spears ignore Joseph's superhuman durability except in his arms.
Energy Damage: Energy damage such as beams and blasts are capable of ignoring Joseph's superhuman durability like aggravated damage, being even more difficult to stop with his arms as well.

RP Mechanics

RP Mechanic(s): Joseph's power conforms to a theme of mental manipulation. His abilities do not stray into anything physical or metaphysical like superhuman strength or chi. He is able to utilize many of the abilities of a manipulator like illusion, telekinesis, and psychic barriers. He can also delve into the supernatural somewhat with mediumship. Overall the character is more of a mentalist type with a strange quality. It has a growth and practice aspect where he gains finer control, greater strength, and new mental abilities as he progresses.

This app needs 8 weaknesses, the two you have don't work as one is something that does not apply to them and the other is a limitation. As for the eighth power, negating abilities would be permission based.

Well the history should be a pretty defining part of your character. If you have no thoughts in there history then their character is probably all but missing as well. Think about who this person is; how did they get there, what experiences and relationships have shaped their life, have they had any life altering realizations, what made them decide to take up hero work, was it an obligation or a choice. There are so many things that go into who we are as people and a history tells us who your character is up to this point, so think about your character and who they are and the history should almost write itself.

On the power side of things, illusion creation is not an RP mechanic its a power. I currently count about 6 and don't feel that any of your weaknesses meet the actual requirement of being a weakness currently. It is not a weakness of they have already overcome it (physical exertion negated through high physical fitness). Nor is hearing a tigers roar a weakness as that is almost never going to come up in a topic. A weakness needs to be an actual limitation that puts your character in some sort of compromised or disadvantageous situation. If you have any questions you can hop on the cbox and ask any of the mods ( cool people with the @ in their name). I hope this helps!

I didn't get the rp mechanic part. I wasn't entirely sure what I was explaining for it. Also, this character originally had a completely different back story, powers, and mechanics that I couldn't use because I had to alter the powers when I misunderstood how the weaknesses work, so I'm in the process of figuring out a new history.

However, the weaknesses I tried to broaden as much as could to make them really branching and more interesting. The tiger roar isn't a specific weakness, it's the frequency. Tigers roar at infrasound frequency, which is what the actual part of the weakness. Let me split the weaknesses so they are a little more precise and better detailed. I'll work on that.
