The Legacy

Personality: Aria is very brash and outspoken, never afraid to share her opinion and state exactly what she thinks something is. She's confident, and isn't really afraid to do whatever she wants. However, this doesn't make her that well liked, so she's used to being alone, and as such, is used to bottling her problems up inside. She firmly believes in the law, and will try to help enforce it if given the opportunity.

History: Aria was born to Torrence and Laura Tesla. Her Dad wasn't always home as he worked frequent hours as a cop, and her Mother was a Real Estate Agent. She was the second to be born as a set of identical twins, her sister being Melodi Tesla. For twelve years of her life, she lived with parents that would frequently fight until they finally divorced from each other. Her Dad got legal custody of her and she rarely saw her sister as she moved away to Las Vegas from their Oregon home. Her mother drove around most of the time to check out potential houses with clients, so she didn't get much interaction with people around her age range. It also made keeping a charge on her phone to keep up with the few friends she did have much harder.

Eventually, one day, despite all her careful planning, her mother dragged her along to look at several houses out in the backwoods with no electricity, and her phone died when a close friend was having a meltdown and she sort of panicked herself and... the next thing she knew, it had full battery and she was able to calm her down. After many months of experimentation, she finally figured out that she had limited control over electricity, and that she could get vague impressions of what other people were feeling from the way electricity went around in their brains, or something like that.

The thing is, she was kind of scared of her own powers. Slowly, she started distancing herself from others so that she wouldn't accidentally shock them or discover that they hated her guts. She was average in grades, and tried not to stand out that much. She only really found someone else she could connect to when she went to Las Vegas to visit her grandparents, when she discovered that her sister had electricity as well.

The Powers and Weaknesses

Powers

Power 1: Enhanced Reflexes- Her nervous system is more proficient than that of the average humans. Needing to withstand the more-than-average amount of bioelectricity in her body, a side effect of this nervous system is that it can further utilize the speed in which electricity travels, improving her reaction time and the speed at which she can think.

Power 2: Electricity Manipulation- By artificially increasing her bioelectricity, she can magnetize other sources of electricity and control them

Power 3: Emotion Scanning: By reading the frequencies of someone's bioelectricity in their mind, Aria can read someone's basic emotions, but no their minds

Power 4: Electricity Resistance- Her body has the capability to take electricity and absorb it, allowing her to use to it to enhance her powers.

Weakness(es)

Weakness 1: Swimming- If she were to use her powers in a body of water, she would shock herself and the others in the water.

Weakness 2: Crowds- If she's placed in a large crowd, she'd get a borderline migrane from all of the readings from all the people there. She never was around too many people in Oregon, so she is not used to big cities . She can not use any of her abilities as well in them.

Weakness 3: Physical Capabilities- Disregarding her nervous system, her body is still that of a regular human. Her strength caps off at some point, and any damage done to her will take the same amount of time to heal as a normal human.

Weakness 4: Electricity- Her body can adapt outside electricity into her system to a certain extent, but with a large enough source of electricity, her body will undergo the same effects that a Taser has on a regular person, and it does have the ability to kill her in large amounts.

Weakness 5: Emotional Influence- If a majority of people around her are feeling a certain way, she will feel like that involuntarily.

RP Mechanics

RP Mechanic(s): Due to neurons that fire faster, time moves slower for Aria than a regular person, albeit, not an extraordinary amount. She also has a faster reaction time and is able to recall things quickly due to her neurons firing faster.
Due to the abnormal amount of bioelectricity in her body and her improved nervous system, Aria has ADHD, finding it hard to sit still with time passing somewhat slower and her muscles fidgeting every now and then.
