The Legacy

My father left when I was 15, because my mother had slept too long and couldn't make him a meal before he got home. He was drunk, and he pulled out a knife and told her to get in the car. I wasn't there for her murder, but I was told that he brought her to the bank, stole all the money she had and threatened to kill her, and a group of heroes arrived, but they wouldn't attack because he had a hostage. He killed her and they took him into custody, I saw him and became enraged, I snapped and my head filled with these strange new feelings, I aimed them towards him and bugs started crowding into his mouth and nose, choking and killing him. I got punished but got a compromise of being put on a solo hero contract.
