Sam is a slight young woman with very fragile appearance, compounded by the fact that she is stuck in a motorized wheelchair for most of the day. She also has very pale skin, from both spending her days inside and her Welsh heritage.

Normally, she can be found with her long, dark-red hair worn loose. As for her clothing, she prefers long dresses though she will resort to baggy pants if she is working on a project. If she has little worry about ruining it, she will also wear makeup, though she tries to keep it subtle.

Costume: Sam wears her Muscle Suit under specialluy fitted body armor that she retailored herself. It is mostly a black suit with dark-red bands on her arms and thighs and a similarly colored decal of a 'V' on the chest. Her head and face is protected by a fitted polymer helmet.


Samantha has something to prove. She tends to take herself too seriously, often missing or ignoring the punchline of a joke. She also tends to be a work-a-holic.


Samantha Rees was born to a pair of loving parents in Birmingham, England. Her parents were a pair of high ranking execs for a pharmaceutical company; they worked to establish viable markets for the drugs their company made. This meant that for most of her youth, Sam wanted for nothing.

At the age of twelve, while her mother taking her to school, a fight between two unknown metas resulted in an accident that left Samantha's mother dead and left Samantha paralyzed from the waist down. To this day, she holds a deep seated resentment towards metahumans.

Confined to a wheelchair for the rest of her life and mourning the lose of her mother, Sam threw herself into her studies, researching anything that struck her fancy. Her father, having trouble coping as well, simply indulged these fancies.

Her grades soared, drawing the attention of Colleges around the world. With reletive ease, she was accepted into a program at MIT and in 2019, at the age of 20, Graduated Summa cum Laude with a degree in Mechanical Engineering

She soon found work at Wong Enterprises in an engineering lab, and began developing a form of prosthesis that would allow people with spinal cord injuries (such as herself) to move about with more freedom...
