The world moves fast. Maybe if it would pick up its pace, it could hang with Camille. Suck it world.

History:

Speed in a world that moves so quickly fades into the background of life. It is not until the world slows down do we see life for what it really is. Or. When someone exceeds the limits of what 'fast' means.

Camille grew up as a superficial girl living with her parents as they struggled to get by as a middle class family. Never did she go wanting for the next gadget or good, but it came in moderation. Moderation did not agree with Camille, nor did she wish to be bound by it, but the young girl could only throw tantrums when told no.

It all changed with one defect. A line of cell phones were released in small quantity in South Korea. They sparked. They malfunctioned. They filled the air with an immense radiation. Camille possessed a supernatural talent for texting. Someone would call it superhuman. Regardless, it served as the perfect catalyst to meld her with the radioactive particles emitted from the phone.

Over the next few weeks, Camille began to discover the talents imparted to her. The cell phone incident did not remain isolated though. Another girl on the other side of Korea developed the same powers, but lived for justice and good. And, quickly developed a nemesis for whom she could propel herself as a superhero.

Her avarice grew ten times that day, and no longer did Camille need to understand the word moderation. So she learned the word 'subtlety'. A bright outfit imitating the outfits worn in brightly colored manga and anime hid her personal image from the world, and the general ineptitude of her nemesis kept her safe from arrest.

Now, Camille works the circuit to grow her ill gotten gains and keep up with a fashion world changing faster than Camille.

The Powers and Weaknesses

(All characters can be as powerful as they want, as long as they are balanced with proper weaknesses.)
Powers

Power 1:

Speed. Camille can reach speeds of Mach 3. She accelerates at a rate of 300 miles per hour every thirty seconds. Once she exceeds the normal bounds of human feats, she enters an intangible state, removing her from being able to affect the environment around her or creating sonic booms.

Power 2:

Depth detection. The particles in the air allow Camille to detect absences in walls- also known as room! As well, she can detect underground corridors and cavern complexes.

Power 3:

Teleporting. Moving from one spot to another through means of disappearing and reappearing somewhere Camille can detect.

Power 4: [/b}

Power Stealing. Stealing materials is cool. Stealing powers is really something cool though. Camille can steal a power she feels in the atmosphere around her. She can use it for one post and then is blocked out from accessing the power again for one full day.

Weakness(es)

Weakness 1:

Perfume. Any level of perfume in the environment will mess around with the particles, ridding Camille of her teleporting, detection, and power stealing abilities. It also disorients Camille to where she will not be able to tell which direction she is running.

Weakness 2:

Rule of three. The third power Camille steals does not work properly. It always fails. And it fails fantastically.

Weakness 3:

Tobacco. Really any smoke in the air will through Camille off her game. It cancels out her teleporting, detection, and power stealing.

Weakness 4

Electric Overload. If a surge of electricity outside of regular functioning watts goes off, it will cause whatever power Camille stole to fail miserably and fantastically.

Weakness 5

Rainbow Centipede. When Camille begins running into her intangible field, it creates a rainbow behind her. The rainbow will not hinder anyone outside of Camille's intangible field, but it does interfere if Camille runs through it- and by interfere I mean she runs into a wall and is stopped immediately.

Weakness 6

Loot. Camille cannot leave loot behind. She will go to incredible extremes and will only leave loot behind if it means saving herself from death. Anything else is beneath loot.

Weakness 7

Poor Direction. The faster Camille goes, the less likely she will be able to control her movement.
