Hospital visits suck. (Nekro)

Jenna watches out the window as they drive up towards the rather small hospital, the one that her butler, Jeeves, had said was very private. She didn't want to go, of course, something about needles just freaked her out. Jeeves, however, was very insistent, demanding that she gets checked out by professionals. The car pulls up to the entrance of the building, Jeeves stepping out of the passenger seat and opening the door for Jenna, professional as always.

Jenna steps out of the car, ignoring the hand that was offered to her, more out of spite then anything else. The driver moves the car away, heading for the parking lot to wait for the checkup to finish. They enter the hospital, the butler moving to get all of the paperwork done while Jenna just waits, sitting down while looking some weird combination of bored and annoyed, her butler being able to pass all of the needed information without any issue, being the super butler that he is.

Jenna approached the main entrance, then FWOOSH! Automated sliding doors open to greet her. FWOOSH! fresh smelling air conditioned air fills the nice looking atrium-lobby. A cheerful recorded female voice on the PA system greets Jenna and every guest to come in.

"Welcome to Ophedia Medical Center! Where every patient is cared for."

The aesthetic of the interior seemed more like a classy hotel than a hospital, and the clients seemed to be the upper class variety. Jenna would be seated near a rich looking floozie, a lady whose eyes were glued to her pocket mirror fixing her already surgically perfected face, and wearing a dress a size too small for her.

Other similar people from the "entitled" crowd were present, like the rich old man, the spoiled bratty kids who threw their gaming tablets in a tantrum, some quiet foreign gentleman from the middle east, and some generic white dudes in suits. There was also a teenager swearing a sweater, carrying a tracing tube. Her face was hidden by her hood as well as long hair- an emo kid, probably here for "depression".

They were all seated around the lobby as the pretty receptionist processed everyone's E-paperwork on high-tech touch screens, making work a breeze. To keep people without devices entertained there were wide screens showing the health center's "ad" about gene therapy and preventive check ups.

One by one an orderly took each away, until finally, it was Jenna's turn. A fairly tall, pale skinned Filipina nurse who spoke good english came by and greeted both Jenna and the Emo-Teen. Her name tag revealed her name to be Maria Cadenza Riolonda. "Good day miss Jenna. We'd like you to follow to run the necessary tests for your symptoms."

She then turned to the Emo Teen as well. "Miss Mendoza, the physician will see you right after Jenna." Emo Kid simply nodded, "okay... maria." she stood up and followed.

Jenna was reading one of the random magazines when she was finally called. Putting it down, she stands up, her butler joining her from his spot up against the wall where he had sight lines of everyone in the waiting room. Jenna gives the nurse just a stare, no real emotion showing on her face. "Yes Ms. Riolonda."

With that being said, and with Jeeves close by to give her comfort, Jenna follows the nurse, behind the emo girl, seeing as how Jeeves stopped her from going first, knowing exactly who the other girl was and wasn't exactly happy about it.

Once the patients got past the warm and hospitable atrium-lobby, they entered sterile bluish-white halls of tiles and panel walls. The doors had a futuristic feel, being a clear polymer suspended in a metal frame, sliding into the wall as it opened. Again the airconditioning made the interior quite cool... and relaxing.

The laboratories were the first stop, and the patients all had blood samples taken in private booths divided by translucent glass. Relaxing music played even inside the labs, and all the lab-coat wearing personnel were polite and professional, getting even those spoiled brats to give samples without them squirming. Featuring high tech equipment, rudimentary results could be obtained in minutes rather than 24 hours.

Emo kid sat in front of Jenna, and didn't flinch when her blood was obtained. she even watched as the blood was drained from her. She looked at Jenna, they must've been paired off in the booth or something. Wow, she was pretty emo.

Maria kindly led Jenna to her seat, taking out a fairly small syringe with a thin needle. "Okay then miss Rose. Please have a seat. this will be over before you know it. Once we get your blood test, your attending physician will have data to help you with whatever you'd like to discuss."

A second nurse passed by the booth, looking at Jenna and her butler. She smiled at the sight and looked at Jeeves. "Your daughter?" she asked casually.

"I don't want to..." Jenna trails off after she sees the look in Jeeves' face, wisely deciding that letting them take some blood is easier then getting into an argument with her butler, seeing as how she doesn't have anyone on her side right now. Taking a seat, Jenna pulls up her sleeve and thrusts out her arm she tightly squeezes her eyes shut, not wanting to see the needle enter her arm.

It was over quickly and painlessly, leaving Jenna holding down a piece of cotton over where the needled entered her arm, glaring daggers at Jeeves for forcing her to do this. Seeing the look on her face, Jeeves uses his hand to hide the smile that was threatening to show on his face. "Don't give me that look miss, you'll be fine." Turning away from him, Jenna gives a hmph, just wanting to go back home already.

Just then another nurse comes by, clearly trying to chat up Jeeves, seeing the weak spot he has for Jenna and finding it charming. He gives her a tight professional smile, trying to be polite without making it seem like he was interested. "No." A simple and curt reply is the only thing that the nurse got, almost like he was trying to save breath when he speaks. It wasn't until the nurse left that Jeeves chilled off, patting Jenna on the head, which was quickly slapped off.

LABS

The big machine responsible for blood analysis blinked for a few minutes, before printing out Jenna's results. The nurse feigned a fairly concerned voice.

"I see we're a bit low in iron, blood pressure and a bit of an excess of blood sugar. Well, you can speak more to the doctor in detail." She then goes into further explanation, taking out her tablet, tapping away some information... relaying it to somewhere.

DARK SECRET ROOM SOMEWHERE IN THE CLINIC

No visuals. Only voices.

"Praetor, we've detected genetic anomaly. The Jenna Rose subject."

"Bring her to room 304. Hmmm. What of the Diana Mendozzzzsssa creature?"

"No anomalies, but she is observed to be in prime physical condition and no illnesses. Perfect for hybridization."

"Bring her in assss well. Room 305. We sssshall asssssimilate her."

"Yes Praetor."

LABS

"Well miss Jenna, your doctor will see you in room 304." The attending nurse said, as she read the announcement on a hospital clear tablet. She led the two teen girls and a few others along to the third floor, taking the enclosed elevator up, to yet another section of the building. Soft elevator music played. The hallway used warm light rather than white, and the interior had wood finishes and marble floors. Everything was so... relaxing.  

All the other patients were led further down the hall, while Diana went to 305 still carrying her apparently empty Tube. Before she entered 305, she glanced at Jenna for a bit, curious. Diana held her gaze with a cold intensity.

304

Jenna would be led to the room, and, again, the 304 clinic played soft classical music at a subdued volume. The lights were warm and the seats were comfy. The friendly nurse Maria even pointed to the small fridge of refreshments. "The doctor will be along shortly. Please help yourself to some water or juice, compliments of the clinic."

Then she leaves Jenna for awhile, the sliding door closing with a satisfying hermetic hiss.

After the blood was taken, analyzed, and then the data was sent off for someone to look at and make sense of, Jenna was put into room 304 and left there with Jeeves. Silence filled the room as she shows her annoyance with this whole thing by refusing to speak to her butler.

Jeeves let's out a sigh, relaxing more now that they were in a more secure room, so to speak. Only one entrance meant that he only had to watch in one direction. "You should relax. It'll be over soon." With that, Jeeves offers Jenna one of the bottles of juice.

"You should drink the juice if you like it so much." Jenna snaps at him, hating hospitals in general and finding the whole idea of a private high end hospital weird and unnatural. The butler just shrugs and starts to drink the bottle, waiting for the doctor to arrive.

Unfortunately for Jeeves, the bottle of juice was unfortunately laced with a powerful drug. And even if he did manage to resist, the room was quickly pumped full of knock out gas as well. The doors and windows were barred, and the airconditioning started pouring it on. Both the gas and the drink would make a potent knock-out combination.

And so it began; the same thing began happening in the other rooms. All these wealthy humans were being drugged- the sinister plan of the hospital's true masters were now underway.

The only warning Jenna had that anything was going down was that Jeeves slumped down, almost like he was knocked out. She didn't check on her butler, instead going straight for the door, only for a sound to echo through the room, locks sealing the door closed. Jenna tugs at the door twice before going straight for her phone, attempting to call her driver to get backup, only for a dial tone to blaze out from the phone. Jenna stares at it for a moment before looking up at the ceiling. "Well, this sucks." With that she was out, blacking out from the gas.

Jenna wakes up in a tube, with Maria, the receptionist staring at her. Looking around the room she was in, she notices all of the other people, all of which also happened to be in tubes. Taking a moment to work up her courage, she glares at Maria. "Let me out." Maria glances up from her tablet when Jenna takes her demand, staring for a second before doing what she was told, hitting a button and letting Jenna out of the tube.

Jenna breaths a sigh of relief while getting out of the tube and checks to make sure nothing was done to her before looking over at all of the people also in tubes. She looks them over before pointing at the girl her age, the only one that wasn't completely freaking out. "Let her out too, the rest of them would just get in the way." Jeeves wasn't in the tubes though, which means that she needs to go find him before they do anything to him, he was important to her.

THE DARK ROOM BATHED IN DIM RED LIGHT

Hallucination was common after shortly gaining consciousness from the knockout drug, and Jenna would only snap awake to realize there was some kind of tube in her mouth, and extending down into her throat. She was also completely submerged in some kind of solution, stripped down to their undewear. She had basically, an alien thing down her throat and it was the only way she could breathe.

The other people in the people tubes were still unconscious as their vital signs were being monitored, the 'cattle' being more or less marked for whatever dark fate awaited them.  

She was selected of course to go somewhere eventually. The attending nurses noticed that Jenna had awakened prematurely, but that was no issue to them. They drained her tank while the throat tube was withdrawn, not wishing to make their prime candidate to choke.  The straps still held her down and Maria came to her side with a syringe of sedative. They may have detected anomalies in her blood, but they weren't sure what it was... they certainly didn't expect it to be verbally activated.

"Let me out" When Jenna opened her mouth to speak, no one reacted, at least not instantly. Maria however, hesitated with the syringe, then caused objections when she undid the metal clamp holding down Jenna's arms.

"What are you doing???" The other nurses suddenly hissed... HISSED... at Maria, their eyes becoming snake-like. All around Jenna, the snake nurses began to attempt to detain Maria, as she had injected the first attacker with the sedative. Maria was putting up quite a fight, but even with her spirit she would probably be overwhelmed quickly, giving Jenna only precious seconds to act.

Jenna's hands were free but her legs not. The Emo kid and the other patients were not far, still lying in stasis in the next chamber. Here in the examination room was Emo Kid's tracing tube, the thing she was carrying around everywhere, was opened. Inside was a super wicked, straight out of anime black katana...

Jenna sat up the moment her arms were free, pulling at the bindings holding her legs down, attempting to remove them. Not getting anywhere, Jenna shifts gears, reaching over and touching Maria, granting her super strength, giving her the ability to just toss around the other nurses like they were dolls.

"How do you unlock these?" Jenna demands from Maria while she was busy fighting off the other nurses, typing in the password and unlocking her legs once she got the answer. Sliding off of the table, Jenna grabs a syringe filled with some sort of liquid, sliding under the table and stabbing one of the nurses that were trying to sedate Maria before they could get to it, injecting them with whatever was in it.

Moving back out from under the table, Jenna grabs the katana that the aliens had taken from the other girl and moves over to where she is, only to be grabbed by one of the weird snake nurses before she can try the password Maria had given her. "Get off me! Maria, help me!" Jenna can only try to get out of the nurse's grip, not exactly having much physical strength to work with.

Maria gaining a surge of strength helped her to get some breathing space, sending the other nurses flying all over the lab, crashing into monitors, equipment and medical supplies. They recover fairly quickly, and now resort to baring their partially transformed teeth- now fangs- to bite at Maria if they could not overcome her might.

The snake Jenna injected went limp and fell asleep. The sedative was powerful, capable of putting to sleep even the most overweight human subjects.

The katana was heavy for Jenna, not responding to this weakling's grip. The blade was black as night and sharp for sure, and would be devastating against fleshy enemies. Maria hears Jenna call out, bashing snake nurse heads against hard surfaces to knock them out, even as fangs bit into her, injecting her with venom.

"You got a sword, stab her! AAARGH!" Maria pried off one of her fellow nurses off her shoulder, the fangs causing a deep gash as they were removed.

The snake nurse, still mostly humanoid, was trying to drag Jenna by her legs, trying to keep her still to be sedated. "SSSSSTOP FIGHTING, BRAT!"

Jenna doesn't think about it, just reacts, attempting to stab the nurse holding her with the sword she had in her hands, being super awkward about it too. Dropping the sword after she managed to get away from the nurse, Jenna turns and quickly puts in the password, draining the tube and releasing the girl. It was really too bad that she was still out.

Jenna slaps the emo girl's face, trying desperately to wake her up. "Wake up already!" Jenna hears a hiss behind her at that point, dropping to the ground and barely dodging the nurse's fangs, which continued on straight for the emo girl.

Jenna rapidly crawls away and grabs one of the syringes before wedging herself in one of the corners of the room, needle facing outwards in a lame attempt to defend herself from any other nurses.

Despite lacking proper skill, the sword's supernatural powers allowed Jenna some measure of injury against her attacker. Slicing her on the cheek, Jenna gave the snake half a glasgow grin.

"YOU'LL PAY FOR THIISSSSSSS, BRAT!" She hissed, bodily launching herself towards the unconscious Diana.

Diana awoke abruptly to the slap, gagging on the tube in her throat. The world was just coming into focus as a lady with serpentine features with fangs bared, came at her. Diana made an awful gagging sound in place of a scream of pain as the thing slammed her into her pod and bit into her side, right under her arm and beside her non-existent boob. The thing thrashed about, more interested in inflicting injury now. The snake woman rips open a huge gash in her side.

Diana fought through the pain and deliver a knife-hand attack to the lady's eye, causing her to recoil. She rolled away sloppily and heavily, getting blood all over the floor. The half-blinded, half-glasgow grinned snake nurse turned around to attack again, but came face to face with a now armed- and angry- Blood Sword.

The moment her hand held the hilt, Diana moved with renewed energy. A single motion saw the thing lose a hand, and another cut saw her lose her head from the lower jaw up, sending a Tarentino-Film amount of blood spraying all over the wall.

Nurse Maria was about all spent, valiantly fighting off her former colleagues, but suffering too many gashes and bites.

Diana finally pulls the offending tube from her throat. She saw Maria fighting her own kind, and decided she was not getting off'd. Diana quickly finishes the nurses, her weapon causing blood to splatter everywhere, including all over Jenna's face.

Maria and Diana slump to the ground once the melee was over. Maria looked at Jenna with a look of gratitude, unable to fight further. "Th-thank you..." she tried to mouth, as she went into shock. Despite suffering wounds of her own, and having a body covered in so many healed scars, Diana began to apply first aid to Maria. "You! First aid kit!" she snapped at Jenna, pointing at one on the wall.

Jenna watches the slaughter, only blinking when the blood splatter lands on her face. She lowers the needle when she sees the other kid rip through them, dropping them all. Jenna doesn't move until Diana yells at her, demanding for her to grab a first aid kit. Sliding out from her corner, Jenna hisses at the pain that shoots up her arm, finally noticing that the nurse had ripped a set of gashes in her arm.

Ignoring the pain the best she could, Jenna walks over to where Diana was, touching her and granting her the ability to heal. Knowledge of how to use the skill would flow into her brain, making the need of a first aid kit pointless. After giving Diana the ability to save the nurse, Jenna knelt by Maria, patting her on the forehead, not ungrateful for the fact that her life was saved by this nurse, even if she was given a helping hand. "You'll be okay."
