God Damned Girl (Elena Marie)

Something about New Orleans just creeped Bliss out. She ran into a ghost here once who followed her home, and Bliss would never want to speak of that incident again, but that alone did not create her ill attraction to this place. It did happen to hold a special place in the Ashley's heart, so once again, Bliss took another pre-honeymoon vacation to New Orleans. A kind of working vacation since last night Bliss managed to 'liberate' a relic from a traveling witch with a lack of security around her compound. Now, she also did not have a magic sword to sell to buy it. But, Bliss did.

"I think we should have a Spring wedding." Ashley scrolled down a list on her tablet as she relaxed on a very well put together piece of poolside furniture in a red halter top bikini with a black bottom.

"It rains too much." The sword next to Bliss reflected Bliss' image very well. Her hair was pulled back from her face with the sun bouncing off her brow. "Late Winter is the best. I thought we already settled on a date." The blue bikini top sank into the deep blues of the cushion behind her. The black wrap around her waist wrinkled as she continued to twirl the sword to the dismay of the security around the eloquent hotel pool.

"We never settled on a date. You pushed it off because of a cult or something."

"Cults are important. I have a score to settle. They wanted to sacrifice me. Wait, which cult are you talking about?"

"The one from Mexico that wanted to sacrifice me."

"Oh. Well, yeah, they're dicks too. Are you sure we didn't make it up before I left?"

"If our date was anymore made up, Elaine Angara would be talking to it right now. I think mid April." Ashley looked over to Bliss who still kept her attention on the sword in her grasp. "Why did we need to steal a sword. And, if it's important, why are you flaunting it around? Don't you think something bad will happen."

"Nothing bad can happen at all. Nothing. There is an absolute one hundred percent chance of nothing bad happening."

”How the hell do you misplace a magical artifact!” Elena shouted with an irritated scowl, rummaging through one of many bottomless chests within her bedroom, the sound of objects clanging about as she did. For one reason or another she could just not find that sword, and swords were not supposed to disappear, yet here was her dilemma.

”Maybe you lost it?” Michael suggested, reclining against the wall with arms crossed over his chest, not really making a move to help her. Granted he knew nothing about the chests in question, so that was perhaps the smarter thing to do. Could've ended up getting himself stuck in one of them.  ”Or maybe someone stole it from you, I mean not like you have many friends.”

”Well..if it was Vexus you know I would know about it, so it has to be someone else.” She said before pausing, then realizing that she had a spell that allowed her to track the sword as her face morphed into one of sheer surprise. Sheer surprise as the fact that she had forgotten such a crucially important fact, or maybe it was an asspull by the writer. One of the two anyway but no time to dwell. ”Bring me a map.” She then said, snapping as the slightly shorter male would scurry away and return with a map, placing it out on the bed as Marie did the incantation and a small spot on the map lit up.

”Well I always wanted to go to the Mardi Gras capitol of America.” Michael noted with a small smirk, looking up to Elena who was less than pleased with the situation. ”Yupp probably stolen.” He then added with a small nod. ”So i'm gonna get my coat, we'll probably be there soon anyway.” With that said he quickly changed into something more presentable and Marie changed into something more casual. A dress, well thhat just did not work in New Orleans atleast that was what she knew about the place anyway.

Once that was doen, she visualized where she wanted to be, stepped through a door and that was where she was. It was a seamless transition, and one she never really got used to. Where they were was… looking out at a pool, a rather nice pool now that Elena thought about it. ”Why don't I have a nice pool like that?”

”We do have a pool.”

”No, I would remember if we had a pool.” Marie corrected, though all Michael would do was roll his eyes. That was when her eyes fell upon the blade within someones hands, why it was there she would find out. ”Hey you, hands off the sword!” She shouted with a dramatic point of the finger.

Bliss tossed her head back against the back of her chair. Another person complaining about Bliss' ill gotten gains and her inappropriate display of a deadly weapon. "I've got my fingers on it. Now shut up and go away. I can hear your ovaries drying up." The blade sat down upon Bliss' lap, keeping her legs cooled by the metal of the blade while Ashley stood up to deal with the situation in a more meaningful way.

"We're sorry about the weapon, but there isn't any sign saying she can't have the sword." Ashley tugged a black wrap around her waist as she approached Elena Marie. Odd that someone not in uniform and without a screaming child would take umbrage, but it seemed the magic of Bliss could make anyone angry. "We'll be leaving soon if we're holding up any plans you have for- I guess kids to come to the pool?" Ashley ducked away as she assumed Elena Marie would be old enough to have kids old enough for a pool.

"I think I'll stay for a little while longer. Pool looks nice."

"Don't worry; we have dinner plans, so it won't be more than an hour."

”Well she is right, there aren't any signs.” Michael noted, much to the annoyance of Elena who was still focused on the fact that Bliss had said something about dried ovaries.

”You know Mike, you are being no help at all.” Elena mentioned with a sigh, turning her attention upon Ashley who seemed to have stood up. Still, she wanted that sword because she stole it first, and that was how she got most of her things, save for the son. Elena sort of made that fair and square, but that's another story for another time. ”But yeah, give me the sword or I take the sword. It was mine, I stole it fair and square.”

”That is not a convincing argument.”

”Well it doesn't have to be, I just have to get the sword.” Extending an arm towards the pool, Elena spoke something.”aqua effusorium.”  Just like that the water from the pool would spray upwards in a fashion that would likely get all over Bliss and Ashley, aimed mostly to just spray them in the face.

”Truly you are the mistress of evil.” Michael noted with a sigh.

”'Who's side are you on anyway?”

"Hotel security needs to shut up." Bliss aimed her head towards the side as she spoke under her breath. An oblivious statement to the toil and boil about to undertake the situation at hand. "I'm going back to the room-" A judgmental finger wagged towards Elena. "But not because you told me to."

"Bliss, this is why cheerleaders put you in a locker when you were in high school. And then like two weeks ago." While Bliss started to move away, the intentions of Elena Marie came out. "Wait, stole? We stole it, well one of is did. So, are you a 'relic hunter'?" Ashley dipped her head as her fingers encircled the word, hoping it would cause it to come across as sensitive as possible. "And who did you steal it from first?" Before she could finish her line of questioning, a blast of water hit her in the face. "Okay, so you're more than just a relic hunter, and a little less than a monster. I'm guessing-"

"It doesn't matter!" A mouthful of water burst from Bliss' mouth. "I didn't come to the pool to get water on my swimsuit!" Bliss held the sword in one hand, remembering her time with the power armor not going quite so well, but assuming a sword would be easy enough to use. "I'm not going to use this sword, because it would fill in too many stereotypes about Asian people, but I will beat you with it like a club to teach you a valuable lesson."

”What even is she going on about?” Elena muttered looking to Bliss with an almost confused look. Michael sort of just shrugged, not quite sure how to answer the question asked to him, so he sorta just went along with everything that was happening.

”My best guess would be that she's clinically insane.” Michael noted with a shrug, taking note that now two fourths of the people present now were likely soaked to the bone with water. He had a feeling that this could have gone worse, but then again maybe Elena was trying to avoid the whole killing thing.

”I stole it from a mad warlock, but it appears that the mad decided to reclaim the blade.” She noted with a roll of the eyes. Bliss appeared to have wanted to use the weapons against her. ”Now hand over the blade Fukuyama before I make you.”

”My god, you two are not serious.”

”Look, I don't have enough time for this. For all we know, the person I stole the sword from could be coming to steal it back from the person that i'm trying to steal it back from.” Elena snapped at Michael before turning to Bliss. Holding her hand upwards threateningly at Bliss, she sort of waited to see what she would do.

"Oh? So, now we got bad blood?" A man with a tray of cocktails entered the gated pool, only to turn away as soon as he saw Bliss toss a sword down on her chair with a quick spat. "You don't get to steal things and then complain that you're things get stolen. Here's what it sounds like when that happens." Bliss cocked her head to the side and then rolled it back around. "Hey, you can't steal things! That's wrong and you'll get exactly what you deserve for doing that!"

"Um, Bliss, maybe we should stay out of-"

"See, how dumb it sounds! Now, like I was sarcastically saying, you got what you deserved, but unironically. See?"

"I'm sure we can find a way to keep the sword without needing to resort to any really drastic violence."

"Take the sword to the room. I'll deal with this loser." Ashley backed behind Bliss, pulling a wrap dress around her body as she scurried towards the hotel room. The lifeguard station flipped off of its bearings, dumping the life guard in the pool, before flying across the pool and blocking Elena from pursuing Ashley without fighting Bliss. "You better put that hand down." A shot of telekinetic energy shot out to try and blast Elena back off of her guard. Bliss stepped forward and waited to put up a defense. "That's a little rougher than splashing people with water, but still less rude."
