Alright, so I'm not the brightest knife in the crayon box...

Okay, so I made an account quite a bit ago but I never used it. Mainly because of the title of the topic. I sort of understand the character template thing, but I don't understand how to apply the stats or how to join rps (do I just jump in with an approved character or can I create a rp with my own plot [not the brightest] or the xp thing) or how everything will work in the end, so if someone doesn't mind giving me obvious pointers and walking me through like a small child and... Well, explain it. Like one would to a small child (but please don't make that much fun of me, I really want to learn)- and yes. I have more or less read the stuff they got on stats and stuff. I'll read them over again once I post.

It'll be greatly appreciated. I won't be able to offer anything more than just me not pestering you with my newbie questions(or just pestering in general) anymore.

First of all I want you to know that anytime you have a question you're more than welcomed to ask, so don't feel bad about it lol.

Getting down to it, we no longer function off of a "stat" system. What we do is that you are allowed to have the powers you want, but for every power you have you must have a weakness. Keeps things pretty balanced

So if you want 2 power, just make sure you have 2 weaknesses. If you have 20 powers, 20 weaknesses.



You can create your own plots, talk things over with people and look at their characters as much as you want, but you do need an approved character first. Joining Rp's are simple. Just hop on the Cbox or post something in "Roleplay Planning" section.

Once again, feel free to jump on the Cbox and I'll help you as best I can.

Ah, thank you for your help, this cleared up quite a bit for me 😆 now to try and make a character to gain experience in this place( since I'm actually pretty used to having loads of characters... Now I've gotta focus on developing one while I get used to the site)
