Pure Magic (Zell. Ask if you want to join x)
[continued from history]
His words rung out from his throat, accompanied by whispering and the hum of the purple crystals that were slowly beginning to grow over the walls. His pure, liliac eyes were wide opened and his glowing form, surrounded by some magical icons made him appear godly. He slowly began walking down the stone ramp which led up to what had been his prison. He had so many questions. Where was he... what had happened. He looked at the small crowd of atleast a dozen mages, each with varying levels of power. Who were these people. What did they want with him. How long had it been. He clentched and then unclentched his fists. It felt good to walk. He had been unable to do so for atleast a century and he needed more than a good stretch.
His eyes began scowering the crowd. They all reacted differently. Some were twitching with fear or anticipation. Another was whispering spells of protection. One of them in the back had actually ran for the exit. But there were three at the front who remained unphased. More sorcery pumped through Magic's veins and he exhaled. He felt like a limb that had been sat on for an extended period of time.... blood was pumping through him once more. His footsteps left glowing purple imprints for a few seconds. He looked at the crowd and spook once again. "Where am I?"
A woman in the front spoke, loudly in order to be heard over the near angelic noise of the chiming crystals. "Y-you're in England. Wiltshire." He looked up, and could see the entrance to the cave. Light danced in and meshed with the purple glow that was eminating from his body and the crystals that surrounded him. It was day. It had not been day before he was imprisoned. He looked, closer this time. Perhaps there was more reason why they were reluctant to meet his gaze. Perhaps it was because he dwarfed them all in power but it may have been something more obvious. He looked down. The trials of time and the energy in his cocoon had disintegrated his clothes. He was completely nude. He blinked briefly before motioning his hand. Crystals grew from his thighs and upwards, covering his pelvis area like a pair of briefs. More of them began to look at him, so apparently it helped. "Thank you' he tried his powers for the first time, the pentacle on his head began to glow and he blinked. 'Sharlot."
She looked shocked when he spoke her name. He'd merely drifted into her mind and taken it. "N-... no problem?" She walked back to the crowd and Magic's pentacle glowed once more. "It won't work." He turned to face one of the other mages, one of the strongest. "Your containment field would hold me for exactly 1.67 seconds. I would not recommend it." He understood their fear and was not angry that they were already conspiring against him. Every second he was becoming more and more cognitive. Like waking up and feeling disorientated, the effect was beginning to fade.
The second his cage was disrupted, a magical presence had spread throughout earth. An aura so strong that it could be sensed globally. Magic's power was no longer contained and as a result, anyone could find him. His long term, trapped within a crystal circle had finally come to an end. He shined like a beacon to all kinds of magicians, be they curious or opportunists. Maybe they would come in fear, or reverence. Or perhaps even to challenge this new presence. All were possibilities. All were not beyond human nature.

Re: Pure Magic (Zell. Ask if you want to join x)
Okay so... what now? There were thousands of things Silus could literally do today, he didn't exactly have school since that Narwhal guy blew half the building up. Though Silus DID manage to make a friend of "The Blind Snake" who used to be the Narwhal's friend before he went totally and utterly bonkers. That being said everything was going just peachy this week. He had time off of school for a bit, though he did regularly have swim practice and baseball practice. Then he might do some tinkering in this little lab. By that he means he might go bother Zell and steal his resources and equipment to build things of absolutely no purpose or reason for existing. This seemed to be the good idea for the day...but honestly he wasn't exactly feeling up to snuff with the building stuff. he was still a little down on himself because of how Ryan was acting. Seriously not even a week ago he nearly froze the whole city over, and now...well Silus hasn't had the heart to approach him since. Mostly he was afraid of the fact that Ryan would be different from the Ryan he remembered...and Ryan seemed to...avoid him even when he could sac up and try to approach.
He was in the middle of finishing his last painting when he felt it. It was a rush of magical energies. This was not exactly what one would have called normal. Sure you have the magic in the lay lines and you have the whole "magic is everywhere" crap they spew straight from the fairy tales but this...this was different. It felt like a powerful breeze when you opened the door, it felt like something, or someone, had been unchained. His heart began to race as his mouth curled up wide and his eyes shined even brighter with excitement as he rushed up the stairs, out of the secret room and literally made a B-line for Zell. Once Zell was in sight though Silus let out a little disappointed whimper when he saw Zell still fixated in his studies and continuing to improve his already nigh-omniscient mind. Silus had thought that maybe, just maybe whatever that release was had been Zell being unchained from the Archon energy. Alas it was a fools tail. The initial disappointment quelling he found his sense of adventure piqued. Maybe this was what he needed. Between Ryan being a jerk, Zell being lost in his studies and the rest of his family being well, dicks, he needed to go have a good old fashioned adventure.
Goin' on another adventure? The familiar Texan accent came to his mind. Turning to the source of the voice he saw the same sun-kissed soldier he always saw in his jeans and his grey long-sleeved shirt with unremarkable hazel eyes and a wide grin. Silus smiled and nodded at him, no longer concerned with the fact that this was merely a hallucination... his mind playing tricks on him. Well count me in. Been a while since I got the chance to watch you in action. He said. Silus smirked at Halluciyancey before a slight frown appeared on his face. The halluciyancey frowned also, both of them seemingly disappointed about the fact that the real Yancey couldn't be there. Lost somewhere in a realm unknown to anyone, or so Silus was told.
Hey...let's go. Finding that source will be a piece of cake. Halluciyancey said with a warm smile and a shimmer in his eyes as he turned and walked out the door. Silus let out a sigh as he felt his abdomen clench and his breath become a little unsteady, but he composed himself none the less, and soon he was Void-walking to England. The only question left for him was where exactly was this source? Stonehenge was always a good bet, after all there was the haven for the magic dragon breed there...well the ruins of it. Maybe it was worth a check... and so Silus and his hallucination embarked on a quest to find the source of power he had felt not all that long ago.

Re: Pure Magic (Zell. Ask if you want to join x)
Magic's eyes, such a bright shade of purple that they almost appeared white, looked down to his hands. With a gentle motion he conjured arcane light which snaked inbetween his fingers. He noticed that his skin was luminescent. It had not been in that state whenever he was trappe. Had he continued to mature... to grow? Looking back to the crowd, he spoke to the orange haired girl - Sharlot once more. She had been brave enough to speak to him and it had formed a minor rapport. "Sharlot.' he paused, blinking at the sun's light. 'What year is it?"
She paused for a second. In the moment she'd briefly forgotten and had to think on it. "It's the year 2020...." Magic nearly gasped but managed to keep it on the inside. 2020. It had been atleast 300 hundred years. What had happened... how had the world changed since then. He looked around at the crowd, closer this time - and spotted things. Their attire. Some wore suits, something he was familiar with but others wore... blue fabric on their legs. A quick scan through their heads revealed it's name. Denim. Jeans. They looked.... absurd.... he scanned a little further. What on earth is a 'Hot Topic'. He shook his head before turning to Sharlot once more. He slowly began walking, and as he took steps he spread his power a little further, like taking another stretch. The mages could feel it and the crystals around them appeared to grow bright purple veins before they faded. He looked towards the rays of sunlight coming in through the cave entrance. "I wish to see outside." He looked to her.
For some reason, he liked Sharlot. She was the first to speak to him, asking for an introduction no less. She was brave. Obviously slightly intimidated but brave. He began to walk to the entrance of the cave, which was up a ladder. Sharlot went to move the ladder in order to let him climb up it but Magic shook his head. Extending his arms to the sides, what appeared to be a faint, glowing swirl began around his feet and he was lifted from the ground. It felt good to finally be able to use his abilities. It had been so long. He floated upwards and straight through the roof of the cave. On the outside, he moved through the stone with his eyes closed. When he passed all the way through, he lowered himself again and let his feet feel the ground. Grass. He could feel grass. It had been so long. It was such a stark contrast, the wet, soggy, muddy grass compared to the constant cold of the stone. There was light spittle in the air. He hadn't felt rain for centuries. A smile formed on his face. Any mud that slathered on his feet soon evaporated.
Sharlot and some of the others exited the cave, and Magic turned to them, partially looking at the sun. It hurt but it was such a relief. If he wasn't as apathic as he was, he'd probably cry. "Sharlot... who among you is responsible for my freedom." She turned and pointed to another. He was younger than the rest, 19 at most, with raven black hair and eyes so brown and bright they bordered on being orange. "Him." Magic levitated once more, and landed infront of him. The teenager was obviously frightened. Who wouldn't be. But Magic looked him in the eye. "Thank you, Samuel McQuire." Magic went into his mind to get his name and then tip toed a little further. He did not like what he found, but he owed this person his freedom and he was grateful. Regardless of their morals.
It felt so good to be free.

Re: Pure Magic (Zell. Ask if you want to join x)
Brisk air, Stonehenge and glowing lights in the distance with the faint cries of magical energy. Silus was growing closer, he could feel it. It only made sense to him to check Stonehenge. It was, after all a gateway to several different dimensions as well as a graveyard to the once ever present magic dragons. Although that was pocket dimension stuff and it was all so stupid, convoluted and confusing. It was just really easy for Silus to say that it was magic bullshit. Little did he know that that was exactly what he was doing. Hunting magical bullshit. Or in this articular case an avatar of magic. Not like the stupid people who had to do a well choreographed dance to move a small rock, but like...a living representation of magic in a vessel. It was easy to comprehend if you didn't try to.
"Okay so...the little light in the distance with magical energies. Probably the source of the exact same breeze that I felt in the U.S.A, right?" Silus asked himself, the hallucination listened but Silus wasn't exactly under the illusion that this hallucination was real. Yancey was lost in some other dimension or something, luckily he had Zell looking for him at a rather vigorous pace. Silus was mostly distracted about how easily he was able to walk up to Stonehenge this late at night with just a little giggle, a cocked eyebrow and glowing indigo eyes, the off purple as alive as ever. He wore his typical over-sized brown hoodie jacket, his mop of hair had been lopped off at the sides, his bangs still at a moderate length as the sides were left trimmed and well groomed. He approached the rest of the crowd with no fear, though he seemed rather amused by this.
"Nice boxers." Silus said to the magic man with a smile before looking all around and then looking to the other people. "So... yeah. Whatcha dooooin'?" Silus asked the group as he looked to Magic with a genuine smile and then to the rest of the humans with an interest and unsatisfied curiosity.

Re: Pure Magic (Zell. Ask if you want to join x)
Magic eyes flickered a brighter purple before he turned and blinked. A small speck of a person was in the distance. He'd felt a shimmer of power and then a persistent presence in the distance. And it began walking towards them. It's lips moved. Talking to itself? The group that had surrounded Magic all turned to look where he was looking. "What is that?" Sharlot asked, squinting. Magic floated off the ground again. There was no actual reason for him to do so but he decided to flex. It felt good, like a paraplegic regaining their legs. "Who." He corrected her, before floating forward slightly, landing before the... child? His toes sunk into the mud and he blinked once again.
The child spoke first. He asked for an explanation of what they were doing in a tone riddled with childish demeanor. He looked down in order to meet the child's eyes with his own. "I am stretching my legs. They have been frozen for so long." He turned, the grey sky continued to fill the air with tiny, mist like sleet. "What are you doing?" He scanned the young one once again. Their aura was... clean, like a still lake but with a twist. It felt as if there was a childish but devious streak running through the body of water...
The crowd behind him were confused. Where the heck did this kid come from?

Re: Pure Magic (Zell. Ask if you want to join x)
"Me? Just chekin' out the cool lightshow. That and kinda wondering why the sudden "whaooosh! Magical avatar" thing happened." Silus said with a smile as he glanced about to the cultists standing there. Was it just him or didn't there use to be a nest of magical dragons that were the symbol of the eternal cycle of life and death. They were dragons of pure life with the mentality of Nasus. They were pretty cool, but then they were all trapped inside something. They were called "Focus Sites" or something like that, wasn't Yamm supposed to trigger those and cause the return of the dragons and defend the world? No that wasn't supposed to happen yet. Silus was still getting used to this "fluid time" concept. Darn foresight.
"So...uhm... I dunno if this is where I throw a masterball or give you a tour. Ehehe." Silus said, laughing sheepishly before scratching the back of his head. Okay he's dealt with the primordial of evil, he's taken down Eldritch masters and taken on some pretty tough superheroes. He's even altered the fabric of fate to redeem those that were "irredeemable". Why was he clamming up with a magical avatar? Granted this one was more impressive than a lot of the things he's used to. Would a person like this even need a tour? Nice one Silus, nice one. Ya are pretty bad at this. It's not even yer first rodeo. The texas accent chirped from behind him. Silus smirked a little but didn't stop looking from magic.
You always did the talking
Yeah! Well, I didn't. I'm just a fig newton of your imagination
Fig newton?
Yeah...I'm pretty hungry not tbh.
Did you just really say "TBH"?
totes, all the kids do now, don't they?
You are officially the worst hallucination ever...
Yeah, I'm pretty bad. The hallucination admitted as Silus was slowly praying for more conversation...or at least a distraction from the madness that was a depression induced hallucination.
